Role Description
The Programmes Executive plays a key role supporting our community of schools during their time on the programme across the school year. They will support the design and delivery of Bite Back in Schools to ensure the best possible user experience for young people, their teachers and their schools, and to ensure the programme makes the greatest possible impact within the project timeline.
The Programmes Executive will report to the Programmes Manager, and will work closely with colleagues across Bite Back, in particular with our comms, digital, youth and policy teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship management

Provide ongoing support to schools throughout their time on the programme, building strong working relationships with participating schools.

Support communication with all schools, providing a point of contact for the coordinator and lead teacher in each school.

Support monitoring and evaluation through creation of surveys, ensuring completion of baseline and end of year surveys, and analysis of data submitted (working with our Evaluation Manager).

Lead the planning, creation, and distribution of our termly newsletter, highlighting school achievements, amplifying youth voices, and inspiring action across our network.

Provide timely responses to school queries, manage a shared inbox and alert the Programmes Manager of any potential risks.

Proactively seek feedback from teachers and young people on our programmes

Ensure opportunities for schools to engage in at least two one-on-one meetings with our team during the school year.
Community management

Celebrate and share examples of best practice and impactful social action projects amongst our community of schools.

Deliver training and webinars for schools.

Manage and grow engagement with school groups through our social media platforms, fostering a sense of community and promoting active participation.

Grow our movement - supporting the recruitment of future cohorts by promoting the Bite Back in Schools programme, distributing recruitment comms, holding set up calls with interested schools, and guiding schools through the application and enrolment process, working closely with the Programmes Manager on the design of these processes.
Programme delivery

Schedule and organise visits to schools, agreeing agendas with the schools in advance to include elements including meeting pupils and teachers, leading feedback sessions and focus groups and supporting the development of their social action campaigns.

Schedule and deliver assemblies with schools partaking in the programme.

Ensure schools submit invoices on time as part of their grant funding, providing support where needed and coordinating with the finance team to ensure prompt processing.

Book and arrange assemblies, coordinating between schools and our Bite Back Ambassadors.

Support the School Ambassadors with travel logistics as they deliver assemblies in schools across England and Scotland.

Maintain and regularly update programme management software and associated data to ensure accurate and up to date information for all participating schools.

Ensure successful end-to-end support for the 100+ schools participating in the programme throughout the next school year.
Project support

Provide support to Programme Manager in the delivery of projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope.

Assist in the delivery of the Local Authority programme, including traveling as needed to facilitate workshops and provide support to the team’s operational requirements.

Provide support for the primary school pilot programme and contribute to the creation and development of engaging resources tailored for primary school use.

Provide ad hoc input to evolving organisational requirements as directed by senior team members.

About Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance
Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. But in Scotland there are places where urgent medical help cannot reach people. Or help gets there too late. And when lives are at risk every minute matters. The Role
As part of our ongoing strategy for growth and national impact, SCAA is seeking a motivated, strategic and creative individual to take ownership of our marketing and communications function — helping raise the profile of the service, strengthen brand visibility, and support our ambitious income goals. The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for the strategic oversight and development of SCAA’s brand, marketing and communications function. They will lead and manage a small in-house team as well as external consultants and contractors, as required — ensuring that all content, campaigns and communications align with our brand, engage our audiences effectively, and support organisational goals across fundraising, awareness and supporter engagement. With a strong focus on brand management, digital growth, and content oversight, this role will ensure that SCAA’s voice is consistent, compelling and clearly connected to our ambition that no one in Scotland should die because help cannot get there in time.
This role will be based either in Perth, at Scone Airport, or at our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport, where our emergency response helicopters and operational crew are located. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, however this role may involve occasional evening or weekend work, as well as the occasional requirement to provide media on-call cover. SCAA also supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
As part of a dynamic, purpose-driven team, you will work closely with fundraising, operations, senior leadership and frontline crew — ensuring our communications reflect the life-saving impact of our work and inspire support across Scotland.
About You:
- Previous experience in a marketing and communications management role.
- Demonstrable expertise in digital marketing, including website optimisation, SEO, email marketing and paid social.
- Hands-on experience using key digital tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage, track and evaluate performance.

Background
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. A UK registered charity, we work in collaboration with Palestinian communities and trusted local partners, and coordinate with key stakeholders and relevant clusters, to meet a wide range of health and social needs, from providing vital medical aid in emergencies, to supporting the development of better health services for the long term. We also uplift the voices of Palestinians, and campaign for an end to the barriers to health and dignity that come from living through occupation, displacement, discrimination and conflict.
Purpose of role
MAP is in a period of growth and rapid development, and as such, the incoming Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for the financial strategy and management of MAP and for the leadership of operational areas to help deliver the organisation’s mission and strategic goals. The COO provides support to the CEO in areas of governance, legal and risk management and may deputise for the CEO as required.
Responsibilities
Strategy, vision and leadership
- Be accountable to the CEO and Board in the areas of finance, technology, risk and compliance, supply chain and logistics, and safety and security.
- Advise the CEO and SMT on financial planning, legal, governance and related policy matters.
- Work closely with SMT colleagues to ensure that appropriate processes and systems are in place across the organisation, including delivery against KPIs.
- Serve as the management liaison to the Finance & Operations Committee, Audit Risk & Governance Committee and, where required, to the Board of Trustees; effectively communicate and present critical financial and operational matters at governance meetings.
- Ensure robust, secure and scalable IT systems and infrastructure. Lead on information governance & data protection and identify and drive opportunities for digital transformation.

Person specification
- Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA) or post-graduate business degree mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior management role ideally with in-house financial management experience gained in a high-growth organisation.
- Experience either as an employee or board member of a non-profit organisation; must be familiar with non-profit finance and accounting regulations.

We are looking for a Community Events Manager to deliver and portfolio of digital and physical fundraising and engagement events.

The Role
Identify, develop, plan and execute a calendar of virtual and physical community fundraising and engagement events and activities, for exmaple, a local Christmas Market, identifying third-party fundraising initiatives and virtual challenges, or leading on the identification and/or development of national events.

Develop and implement stewardship plans to encourage repeat participation and wider engagement in the charity.
Support participants in their fundraising efforts, providing fundraising specific guidance and resource.
Work with the Marcoms team to develop and deliver promotional materials, social media campaigns, and PR opportunities.
Manage events and budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and maximum ROI.
You will manage an administrator and be supported by a strong team of fundraisers, a marketing department set up to support the development of community activity.
The Candidate
Experience in event management, ideally within the charity or community sector.
Strong fundraising knowledge and experience in income generating events and techniques both physical and through digital channels.
Budget management experience and ability to work within financial targets.

The charity’s mission is to Conserve birds of prey, restore habitats and make wildlife education accessible. The Charity Manager over-sees the staff team delivering the charity activities, ensuring work is recorded and reported correctly.
You would also be responsible for line managing both Deputy Centre Managers. You should be confident in making decisions and able to balance opportunity and risk. Key responsibilities

Job Purpose
This role is responsible for managing BSR’s day-to-day financial activities, leading on financial planning and reporting, and supporting financial governance. The Finance Manager acts as a trusted business partner to colleagues across the organisation, improving financial understanding and supporting business delivery.

While you will need a strong background in finance to meet the technical requirements of the role, as a learning organisation we recruit for potential, not perfection. This might be your first management role, or you might not have worked in the charity sector before – but if you are able to do the role, we are happy to provide you with the support and training you need to succeed. This could include supporting you to complete a professional accounting qualification if you don’t already have one. Alternatively, you might be an experienced Finance Manager, looking for a new challenge or to join a flexible organisation which aligns with your own values.
Main responsibilities
Day-to-day financial operations
- Manage the financial activities of the charity and trading subsidiary (BSR Enterprises)
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in the accounts
- Process payroll and administer the pension scheme
- Ensure compliance with HMRC, including monitoring VAT threshold, tax and gift aid, and undertake necessary returns where necessary
- Be the main contact with and management of, the day-to-day operations of the Charity’s banking arrangements, in line with authorisation requirements
Financial planning
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget
- Produce the monthly management accounts
- Maintain cashflow forecasting looking forward at least 12 months
Business partnering
- Work with the COO to improve financial understanding across the organisation
- Train, support and develop budget holders
- Support business delivery and development
Financial reporting
- Provide financial reports and analysis to the senior management team and Trustees
- Attend quarterly Finance and Risk Committee meetings
- Complete required statutory reporting
- Prepare year end schedules and act as main point of contact for financial auditors
Financial governance
- Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place
- Identify and mitigate financial risks
Finance function development
- Develop finance policies, processes and systems to reflect best practice and improve efficiency
- Manage, support and develop the Finance Officer
- Develop and deliver a workplan for the finance team in line with BSR’s strategy and values
Person Specification
- Accounting qualification or part qualification (for example, AAT, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent knowledge gained through experience
- Experience managing financial operations, planning, reconciliation, reporting and analysis
- Knowledge of financial governance, including accounting regulations and best practice
- Experience of working with and co-ordinating income and expenditure across multi-project budgets
- Confident using and improving IT systems for a finance department

SPEAR is a lifeline to hundreds of people each year who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness across six London boroughs. We provide essential outreach support, a variety of accommodation options, tenancy support services and vital health programmes. In 2024 we supported 804 people experiencing homelessness. This included 466 people found rough sleeping, 227 people in accommodation-based and floating support and 84 young people aged 16-25.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Fundraising Manager to lead and grow our corporate giving and partnerships income stream. Corporate Giving at SPEAR comprises just over 20% of our fundraised income, with a mix of direct giving, local COY partnerships and employee fundraising. This is a key role within the Fundraising and Engagement team, responsible for developing and managing relationships with corporate partners to generate sustainable income and deepen engagement with SPEAR’s mission.
You will also play a strategic role in identifying new prospects, securing partnerships, and delivering excellent account management to all existing supporters. Duties and Responsibilites:
Involving people affected by sarcoma
- Strengthen and support our existing Involvement Network, keeping members engaged and informed.
- Facilitate a variety of inclusive involvement opportunities for people affected by sarcoma, reflecting diverse capacities, interests, and abilities, and ensuring these align with our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) framework.

Assistant Shop Manager - Nork
You will support the promotion of sustainable shopping and the shop’s social media to increase audience reach, attract customers, donors and volunteer supporters to deliver the Retail Strategy.
Role Requirements
- To maximise shop sales by achieving agreed targets both through donated stock and bought in/new goods. This involves proactive stock generation, optimum pricing, processing stock to agreed amounts and stock planning.
