The funding environment has shifted fast. Alexandra Rose needs to be sharper, more strategic and more commercially literate than the traditional charity model allows. This role exists to make that happen.

We are looking for a senior funding leader who is comfortable operating as a “department of one” within a small but ambitious organisation. Trusts and Foundations prospecting and bid writing will form a core part of the role, working closely with the CEO and senior team. Beyond that, you will build and steward high-value funder relationships, develop and secure corporate partnerships aligned with our values, test new income models, and help us adapt confidently to a fast-changing landscape.

This is a senior leadership position. You will work closely with the CEO and Head of Finance to shape organisational direction and build a resilient, full-cost-recovery funding model that protects quality, depth and long-term impact.

This is a remote role, with a requirement to regularly attend meetings and events (mainly London but on occasions project areas elsewhere in the UK).

Key Responsibilities

 Strategic leadership

• Deliver the current funding strategy, which includes Trusts & Foundations grant funding, corporate donations, and testing new potential ways to generate income.
• Monitor sector trends, opportunities and risks, and reposition the charity as needed.
• Work closely with the CEO and Head of Finance to align income planning with organisational priorities and financial forecasting.
• Build simple, effective systems for pipeline development, forecasting and reporting.

 Trusts & Foundations

• Lead the trusts and foundations portfolio, working closely with the CEO to secure multi-year, core and expansion funding, including directly leading on the writing of funding bids. This will be a core part of the role.
• Develop compelling, well-evidenced funding proposals rooted in our mission and impact.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with funders.

 Corporate Donations & Partnerships

• Manage and grow existing corporate relationships, ensuring partnerships remain values-aligned, purposeful and mutually beneficial.
• Identify and develop new appropriate corporate donors and partners, informed by research into corporate giving, ESG and CSR trends.
• Shape and evolve a clear, credible and cost-effective corporate engagement offer that supports long-term organisational sustainability.

 New income streams

• Scope, test and (if viable) deliver new earned-income models, such as corporate engagement models.
• Develop proof-of-concept approaches and evaluate their feasibility.
• Support the organisation to diversify and strengthen its income base.

 Collaboration & leadership culture

• Serve as a key member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to organisation-wide strategy and decision-making.
• Build a transparent, mature, collaborative culture around income generation.
• Ensure the wider team understands funding opportunities, constraints and strategic choices.

Dataro are looking for a Partnerships & Marketing UK Manager to help grow their presence across the UK charity sector. This is a varied role that combines partnership development with hands-on marketing and events delivery, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning ideas into action. 

Around 70% of the role will focus on partnerships and new business growth; identifying and developing collaborations that build pipeline and raise Dataro’s profile across the UK. The remaining 30% will focus on delivering marketing activity and events on the ground, from conferences and webinars to partner activations and community engagement. 

You’ll work closely with Dataro’s global marketing and partnerships team, with access to the tools, systems and support needed to make things happen. While the role sits within a global team, this position will play a key part in shaping and delivering activity specifically for the UK charity market. 

This role could suit people from a range of backgrounds. You might currently be working in corporate partnerships, marketing, partnerships, data, or events within a UK charity, or in a technology or service provider that works with the nonprofit sector. What matters most is that you understand how strong relationships translate into income and impact, and that you’re comfortable taking ideas from concept through to delivery.

The Role 
 
Reporting to the Head of Retail Property and Estates, as Centre Manager, you will lead a multiskilled team that delivers a consistently positive visitor experience at our flagship Yorkshire Cancer Research Centre at Hornbeam Park, Harrogate. This team provides a high level of customer service to the public across face-to-face interactions, email and telephone, while also creating a supportive working environment for employees and volunteers. This includes ensuring that the right resources, refreshments, and a clean, well maintained workspace are always available. 

As part of the visitor experience, you will be accountable for the safe and legally compliant operation of the Hornbeam Café and for ensuring it provides a comfortable and pleasant environment for customers. This includes managing the Café Manager and offering an appropriate balance of support and challenge in what is a high activity, high impact role 

You will be responsible for all health and safety elements within the Centre, including weekly fire alarm tests, routine checks and food preparation audits. The team also manages a range of consumables, so the role requires strong cost control, effective stock usage, and regular feedback on Yorkshire Cancer Research materials. 

Specifically, you will: 

• Ensure that all Health, Safety Fire and COSHH checks are carried out as required diligently, regularly and to the required standard. 

• Work closely with the Café Manager to maintain high standards of food safety through appropriate compliance adherence and regular audits. 

• Report any maintenance issues to facilities through the Yorkshire Cancer Research platform EVERY. 

• Line manage a Café Manager and a team of Centre Support Assistants and ensure they offer a positive, professional and warm welcome to all visitors. Manage the Centre Support Assistants ensuring cover on the Welcome Desk across key operating hours. 

• Develop a volunteer team with potential new role profiles to enhance the Centre Team. 

• Represent the Yorkshire Cancer Research brand positively, role modelling a professional appearance and presence in line with our values. 

• Support the team to maintain high standards at the centre with and in the Welcome Area. 

• Lead the team to provide visitors with up-to-date Yorkshire Cancer Research literature, offering the marketing team feedback on the documents provided. 

• Lead the team to ensure all working spaces including, meeting rooms and the kitchen area are well stocked and maintained. 

• Conduct recruitment processes when required and provide thorough induction and training for new recruits, ensuring new team members are well integrated into their roles and team. 

 
About You 

To be considered for this role, you will need: 

• Proven experience of working in a similar role at a similar level.

• Experience of leading, building and developing a team.

• Experience of creating, developing and streamlining operational and administrative processes and procedures. 

• Proven experience of implementing systems and conducting training as necessary.

• Proven experience of monitoring budgets and tracking progress.

• Proven experience of delivering tangible process improvement.

• Experience of proactively working to advance skills through continued professional development relevant to the role and level.

This is an onsite, hands on and demanding role, requiring someone who can remain calm under pressure and knows when to escalate issues.

This is a brand‑new role and an incredibly exciting time to join the team at PDSA. You’ll take the lead in developing a high‑impact prospect research function that underpins a strong pipeline of high‑value donors, trusts, and corporate partners.

The Role

The Project Manager is an adept and organised professional, esteemed within the nuclear policy community for their level. Responsible for overseeing a discrete package of work, they must demonstrate a clear understanding and alignment with broader programme goals, strategies, and objectives. The role will report to the Programme Manager.

Taking charge of project deliverables, the Project Manager will navigate the entire project cycle, from generating fundraising ideas to developing them further and building knowledge of funding relationships. The role will also include deputising for the Programme Manager during periods of absence, ensuring continuity of delivery, external engagement, and team support as required.

The Project Manager will take responsibility for the South Asia portfolio under the Responsibilities and Global Governance (RGG) Programme. The RGG Programme works to strengthen global security by supporting the development of responsible governance frameworks for weapons and dual-use technologies in cross-cutting operational domains. Under the South Asia portfolio, the RGG Programme has facilitated research and dialogue with the Indian and Pakistani nuclear policy communities with a focus on regional crisis prevention, management, and de-escalation practices.

The Project Manager should possess a solid understanding of global security and conflict resolution and a deep understanding and demonstrable knowledge of military security dynamics in South Asia, coupled with a proven ability to design and execute high-quality project management and research. The ideal candidate is an established researcher with a specialisation in nuclear weapons issues and South Asia. As the candidate will be expected to facilitate India-Pakistan nuclear dialogues, it is important that they will show an ability to engage impartially with all parties.

It is expected that the Project Manager will have solo authored, policy relevant, publications. The Project Manager should possess the skills to expand their network in their area of specialisation, benefiting BASIC, and be capable of line managing other team members within their project. 

This role necessitates a formal project or programme management qualification – BASIC will provide the Project Manager with such training and qualifications if they do not already possess one. The Project Manager will collaborate with their line manager to identify a professional development plan, closing skills gaps and aspiring to become an internationally respected leader in their field.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and reporting requirements

Person Specification:

Essential:

• Educated to Master’s level – or demonstrate the equivalent in work experience

• 5+ years of work experience in a think tank, research institute, NGO, foundation or government working on international security issues

• Demonstrable knowledge of South Asian military security issues

• Passion and commitment to our organisational mission of promoting dialogue to advance global security

• Demonstrated ability and track record in leading the creative development and delivery of policy projects in the UK or internationally, including budgeting and reporting

• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from a variety of professional and cultural backgrounds and with broad variations in seniority and function

• Excellent analytical and methodological skills, and an organised approach to research

• Well-developed interpersonal skills, including evidence of working successfully as part of a team

• Track record of previous fundraising experience and success

FutureDotNow is a charity uniting business to close the UK workforce’s essential digital skills gap. We are the leading authority on workforce essential digital skills, with over 230 organisations signed up to the Workforce Digital Skills Charter and direct reach to more than 2 million people. Yet over 22 million working-age adults still lack at least some digital basics. Closing that gap requires coordinated, high-quality delivery at scale.

FutureDotNow is bringing focus to the digital upskilling needs of working age adults, raising awareness and bringing specificity to the action required whatever sector or role people might work in.We work with business and government to surface and solve systemic issues and provide scalable solutions every organisation can use.

FutureDotNow is entering a new phase of growth and delivery. Our priorities are to engage more businesses and provide practical tools and solutions that help organisations take action on workforce digital skills.

This is a senior, hands-on delivery role at the heart of that ambition. We are looking for someone who is results-oriented, able to think strategically, and translate ideas at pace into high-quality, impactful delivery. You will turn strategy into action, coordinate complex activity across partners, and ensure programmes deliver tangible outcomes.

You will work across a cross-sector delivery community including organisations such as the NHS, Accenture, Salesforce, Amey and Gateway Qualifications. With around 50 external contributors involved in each Sprint, clarity, pace and strong delivery discipline are essential.

For the right prson, this is a defining opportunity to strengthen FutureDotNow’s delivery capability and accelerate progress towards closing the UK’s workforce digital skills gap.

What you will do

Lead delivery across our Sprint programme and delivery community

FutureDotNow runs three 10-week Sprints each year. You will lead end-to-end delivery of the Sprint programme, ensuring activity is well structured, well-coordinated and delivers real outcomes.

You will:

· Plan and deliver Sprints end to end, including kick-offs, check-ins and in-person workshops developing agendas, content and facilitation materials

· Coordinate the setting of sprint and year-end goals, milestones and priorities aligned to FutureDotNow’s strategy

· Track actions, risks and interdependencies across sprint teams, maintaining momentum and resolving blockers

· Grow and energise the delivery community, fostering collaboration and accountability

· Produce core delivery outputs such as plans, dashboards, reports and briefings

· Update the Membership Growth and Marketing Manager on new insights, tools and solutions being created through the Sprint programme, which may form part of the FutureDotNow member offer

Lead delivery of our sector strategy to engage more businesses and drive action

Working with Marsh (our sector strategy sponsor) and sector leads, you will help turn engagement strategies into practical action across sectors.

You will:

· Support the onboarding, development and coordination of sector leads and the delivery of clear action plans

· Drive delivery against agreed sector plans and milestones

· Track progress against growth and engagement measures, including Charter signatories and membership

· Ensure sector activity connects into FutureDotNow’s wider programme, so learning is shared and amplified

Lead delivery of the Workforce Digital Skills Summit

You will play a central role in delivering FutureDotNow’s flagship annual event, bringing together around 200 senior leaders from business, government and civil society.

You will:

• Lead development and delivery of the Summit programme and content
• Work with the CEO to shape the agenda and speaker line-up
• Brief and support speakers, facilitators and contributors
• Oversee on-the-day delivery, ensuring a high-quality participant experience
• Ensure strong post-event outputs that extend impact beyond the event

Content development and commissioning

Where workstreams are led by FutureDotNow (rather than partners), you will play a key role in content creation. Working closely with the COO, you will be involved in developing core content for deliverables, which may involve analysing data from partners, producing reports, or creating tools/resources.

You will:

· Draft, shape or edit content, such as guidance, tools, playbooks and insights, using templates, existing material or raw inputs from partners

· Commission and manage suppliers where specialist expertise is needed

· Lead and coordinate delivery through a clear milestone plan, ensuring alignment of output delivery with events and campaigning activity

· Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, evidence and accessibility ensuring all content meets FutureDotNow’s brand and tone.

· Design and run pilot activity to test and refine tools before wider rollout

Skills, experience and attributes

 Essential

· Proven experience delivering complex projects in multi-stakeholder or cross-sector environments

· Strong end-to-end project delivery skills, including planning, risk management and reporting

· Excellent written communication, with the ability to turn complexity into clear, practical outputs

· Experience designing and coordinating workshops, events or programmes

Operation Christmas Child UK (OCC) has implemented a strategic volunteer ministry, investing in teams of volunteers who will multiply themselves and hugely extend the reach of OCC’s mission.

OCC is the world’s largest shoebox appeal where Samaritan’s Purse, together with local churches here and overseas, distributes from the UK 1/4 million gift-filled shoeboxes annually to children in need overseas and in so doing demonstrates God’s love in a tangible way while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

A resourceful and energetic Regional Manager is needed to recruit, select, equip, and lead teams of volunteers throughout the greater West Midlands area and Wales. You will be passionate about developing others towards highly effective ministry, teamwork and increased personal competency. You will also directly engage churches to participate in OCC in areas not yet covered by Connect volunteers.

You will be confident to take initiative with people and projects and also have good administrative and organisational skills. You will also enjoy envisioning the numerous volunteers who participate in the OCC shoebox appeal each year.

You will enthusiastically support the Christian purposes of OCC and Samaritan’s Purse and be committed to the value of well-equipped volunteers and to developing them further. Candidates will have proven people and project management and administrative experience in the workplace and be educated to A levels or ideally Degree level.

This role is based in region and so prospective candidates should currently live in the region and provide their own transport for which defined expenses will be paid.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Salary: £45,068 to £51,242 (Negotiable)

37 hours per week – Flexible throughout the week, including some evenings and weekends

We are seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer with a proven commitment to survivor-led practice, outstanding organisational leadership capability, and relevant therapeutic competence, to provide strategic and inspirational leadership for the organisation’s future.

Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service (LSLCS) exists to provide compassionate, person-centred, trauma-informed crisis support to people across Leeds and West Yorkshire.  Founded in 1999 by individuals with lived experience of mental health crisis, the organisation has grown to deliver a range of services for adults, children and young people while remaining rooted in survivor leadership and empowerment. LSLCS has a long history of innovation and excellence; receiving multiple national awards.

The CEO holds overarching responsibility for the current service provisions, with the support of operational directors and service managers.  LSLCS challenges and shapes current practices; aligned with the needs of those accessing crisis services, with a strong emphasis on gaining and reviewing service user and team feedback to inform decision-making.  The CEO must be able to review feedback openly, regularly and with genuine curiosity in shaping the future of the organisation.

The CEO provides strategic leadership to ensure that LSLCS continues to deliver high-quality, values-led crisis services.  Working closely with the Board of Trustees, the CEO ensures the organisation operates in alignment with its survivor-led ethos, trauma-informed principles, and person-centred philosophy.  The post-holder champions the mission of LSLCS, strengthens its culture, and maintains the organisation’s reputation as a trusted and innovative provider of crisis support.

The CEO must ensure that the organisation’s governance is compliant with Charity Commission requirements, contractual obligations and all other relevant legislation and guidance, and works closely with the Operations Director (Central Services) to ensure the organisation’s financial sustainability and the appropriate, responsible use of its resources.

The External Affairs Manager plays a pivotal role in empowering people with sight loss to live the life they choose. This position leads the development of policy and campaigns within the country, aligning with Guide Dogs’ strategic objectives. Working collaboratively with the central policy, public affairs, and campaigns team, as well as the country leadership team, the role builds strategic partnerships with government bodies, local authorities, societies, and other key organisations. This ensures Guide Dogs remains informed and influential on all policy initiatives affecting the organisation and its stakeholders.

The post holder will be responsible for the day‑to‑day leadership, management and oversight of a team.

The post-holder is responsible for shaping policy positions, drafting responses to consultations from councils, combined authorities, and devolved governments, and driving impactful campaigns at a regional level. A key focus is increasing the involvement of blind and partially sighted people in advocacy and campaigning.

Additionally, the role leads the implementation of Guide Dogs’ regional marketing and communications strategy across the Devolved Nations. This includes raising brand awareness, engaging diverse audiences—service users, families, volunteers, donors, and the public—and delivering integrated communications plans that strengthen Guide Dogs’ presence and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Policy Development

• Lead the creation of country-specific policy and position papers, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy.
• Prepare responses to consultation papers from devolved administrations, local government, and regional bodies.
• Represent Guide Dogs on committees, working groups, and forums, staying informed on policy issues impacting the organisation and its service users.

Public Affairs

• Build and influence relationships with key stakeholders, including elected representatives and senior officials.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a creative and dynamic person with a proven track record in creating, delivering and managing digital content across social media platforms to develop, implement and manage strategies to grow our online presence and raise our profile.

You’ll have demonstrable experience across a wide range of social media platforms with the ability to craft engaging content to build a rapport with your audience while continuing to uphold our brand and professional values. You will be managing multiple accounts held by the charity.

You will have experience of using third party management tools to create, plan and schedule content, analysing reach and engagement, and using analytical tools to help make informed decisions about our digital marketing strategies. You will regularly report back to the management team feeding into our wider strategy discussions, making recommendations on future campaigns. 

You will be part of a wider communications team, working alongside the PR & Communications Manager, reporting to one of the trustees, fostering an organisation-wide approach working with all colleagues to ensure a planned, structured and collaborative approach to our communications and marketing planning.
As a small charity, flexibility is key to meet the needs of our shifting priorities and in between delivering and managing social media content – your primary focus –  you will additionally support wider marketing activities with creation of digital content to support charity advertising, support the development of our online (web) content and more general activities across the communications team. While there will be some level of existing experience, training will be provided for anything bespoke.

As part of the role, you will help our UK-based volunteers to develop local social media activities and support them as required. This may involve making recommendations in their approach, supporting content creation and upskilling them to gain confidence in using social media.

The role is remote and the successful applicant can work from a location of their choice, making optimum use of video conferencing and online collaboration tools to connect with the wider communications team.

Some UK travel within the role is expected with the charity reimbursing reasonable UK travel costs where agreed up front and on behalf of the charity.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

ESSENTIAL

• Experience in developing and implementing social media strategies and content in a similar role for at least 12 months 
• A thorough working knowledge of a wide range of social media platforms
• Third-party applications to manage social media content across a range of platforms in addition to regular reporting and provision of management information to help the team make informed decisions to support the wider charity’s wider digital marketing strategy.

Interviews will be two-stage for successful candidates. You should be comfortable sharing past content that you have created previously which will be treated with the strictest confidence. Please allow up to 1 hour for this stage.
