The Role
We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional to join us as Head of Fundraising. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our fundraising strategy across community, events and volunteering, trusts and grants, corporate and philanthropy by crafting ambitious regional plans, nurturing high-performing teams, and driving excellence in supporter engagement and recognition. The Head of Fundraising will work collaboratively with the Individual Giving and Engagement team to drive new business pipelining and amplify fundraising campaigns, develop new fundraising products, and represent SCAA at external events and sector initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced team leader with significant experience working across a variety of fundraising disciplines and of developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
The successful candidate can be based from home, but this role will require regular travel to our bases at Perth and Aberdeen Airports and throughout Scotland. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm.
About You
Essential

Strong background in a variety of fundraising disciplines and a track record in growing fundraising income over multiple years within a charity, non-profit or values-led organisation.

Role description:
parkrun is looking for a Data Protection Officer to ensure that parkrun processes personal data in a lawful, transparent and secure manner and maintains compliance with applicable data protection laws across the global parkrun movement.
Reporting to the Global Head of Legal and Governance, this role will be responsible for establishing, monitoring and maintaining effective and compliant data protection processes and promoting good practices across the parkrun global movement. The role will sit within a small Legal and Governance team and provide day-to-day assistance and practical, solution-focused advice across the organisation.
The Data Protection Officer will act independently in carrying out their statutory responsibilities under applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR, and will play a key role in embedding a strong culture of data protection and responsible data use across parkrun’s global operations.

The Role

· Develop and agree a bespoke internal/external communication plan for Directors, reflecting both their shared, collective role in leading the charity.
· Optimise existing, and develop new, communication channels to enable Directors to reach new audiences and reinforce messages to existing audiences.
· Identify corporate developments, projects and initiatives that will benefit from Director communication and work with project/initiative leader(s) to ensure a planned, aligned and integrated approach to key messages and their delivery.
Brand
· Ensure the charity’s brand, strategy and purpose is accurately and proactively reflected in all messaging and content which quotes or is on behalf of Directors.
· Reflect the charity’s tone-of-voice, taking a plain-English approach to communication by avoiding technical terms, jargon and acronyms.
Process and Governance
· Ensure Directors are advised about potential PR and communication opportunities and can consider and input before they are committed to.
· For proactive communication, diarise approval time in Directors’ diaries and provide Executive briefings and content well in advance (giving weeks’ rather than days’ notice) so that there is plenty of time for Directors to review, adapt and approve before the deadline or event.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and organised candidate to join Clinks and play a key role in delivering our annual programme of events and training.
The Events and Training Officer will lead on the planning, coordination and delivery of Clinks’ busy calendar of member engagement activity, including online and in-person events, training sessions, and our flagship annual conference.
Events and training at Clinks are delivered collaboratively across teams, and the post-holder will help coordinate this programme while also taking an active role in delivery. They will ensure that Clinks’ events and training offer is high quality, accessible, well-promoted, and responsive to the needs of the voluntary sector working in criminal justice.

1. Duties and key responsibilities
Events and Training Programme Coordination

Coordinate the delivery of Clinks’ annual programme of events and training, working with colleagues across the organisation to ensure a consistent, high-quality offer.

The Team

The Role
The Careers Advisers will cover one or more of the following regions: Medway, West Kent and Mid Kent to a broad range of school and college settings, delivering creative and inclusive Personal Careers Guidance, as well as assemblies and drop-in sessions as required.
Each student and each learning environment will be unique, so the opportunity lends itself well to candidates who enjoy traveling and working in varied locations, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and educating people of all abilities.
You will routinely liaise with Careers Leaders and senior school/ college staff to arrange and deliver activities for students during the school day. Whilst most delivery will take place between 8:30am and 4pm, travel before and after these times will be required and occasional attendance at parents’ and options evenings will also be required, but you will be given time off in lieu where this is applicable.

Key activities will include: Developing content for website and social media from scientific outputs; using a media monitoring tool to gather relevant data and insights to support dissemination; and co-ordinating planning for webinar and event hosting and project participation at wider events. The role will liaise with cross-team colleagues to identify relevant dissemination opportunities, and support article formatting and submissions, alongside regularly engaging with project teams and wider stakeholders as relevant, and developing project reports. Additionally the role will support engagement of people with lived experience as part of project and wider activities.

Job Purpose
The Head of Community Support and Operations is a pivotal new role being introduced to the executive team at Barnsley CVS. This person will be a key role in the growth and development of the executive team. You will play an exciting part in the delivery and development of the recently developed 4-year strategy and theory of change. Your role will drive intention and focus on developing our support to the sector in a meaningful way to high standards, whilst ensuring our own internal operations reflect best practice. You will need a strong knowledge of charity set up, management and governance along with a passion for what the VCSE sector does. You will be confident in people management and development; have the ability to work inclusively with a wide range of people and backgrounds and the skill to see gaps and opportunities for service development.
You will work closely with the Head of Strategic Partnerships to identify gaps and opportunities to develop our offer of support to the sector whether through direct services, training, brokerage agreements or membership offers. As you identify these opportunities, you will work collaboratively with the Head of Business Development to explore commercial income options that are also in line with our mission and vision.
Using your excellent people skills, you will act as the first point of contact for HR matters within the charity, overseeing the general management of our online HR system, policies and procedures. You will work in collaboration with the CEO in any areas that need significant development or management.
You will keep up to date with new initiatives and ideas in the wider infrastructure sector, relevant legislation and modern thinking in relation to charity management best practice.
