Salary:              £55,000-£60,000

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London.  All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. 

We are recruiting Employment Advisors to join our IPS service, you will be based in Enfield, working 35 hours per week. The service has been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment. 

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. We welcome applications from people with lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact.

You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace. The successful candidate will need to become comfortable in approaching employers, and showcase the advantages of our service in order to work with them to recruit our clients to fill vacancies and sustain employment.

You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.

You will work as part of a mental health team (NHS Trust) maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery through employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led.  You will also be working to targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

What you will be doing:

• Manage grant delivery, including assessment, due diligence, contracting, monitoring, and closure, across our funding rounds.

• Undertake financial, reputational, governance, and operational due diligence in line with our policies and risk appetite.

Your experience:

• Experienced in assessing, managing, monitoring and evaluating grant applications or similar roles related to charitable grant making. 
• Understanding of not-for-profit structures, including charities, social enterprises and other not-for-profit organisations. 
• Experience in writing a variety of styles including academic, reports, and impact.
• Demonstrable ability to prioritise when faced with a continuous flow of applications and variable work load.
• Experience of effectively engaging at all levels within applicant organisations leading discussions where necessary.

The Account and Support Manager will be responsible for working with the Upshot team to deliver high quality customer service to all clients. They will manage the implementation of the Upshot system for new clients, deal with customer support queries and manage contract renewals for existing clients. The role enables the candidate to work closely with a range of audiences, stakeholders and different charities, sport and non-sport, to help and support them to collect good data and better measure the impact of their community work. 

Remote working from home; The expectation would be that the successful candidate would spend 2 days per week at the House of Sport with Upshot and the remainder working remotely. At times depending on business needs there may be a requirement for more days to be worked in the office. This role also includes periodic travel to client locations to build relationships and deliver training. 

The successful candidate will be managing high-level and detailed relationships with clients and this role will see the successful candidate as a primary point of contact for both new and existing clients of which they are responsible for. 

Beyond their core responsibilities, the Account and Support Manager will also have the opportunity to develop the business more broadly, through identifying potential business development opportunities, partaking in ongoing marketing exercises, discussions around the development of the system and engaging with our wider Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Services.

Demand for our specialist tutoring programmes for Children Looked After, those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) continues to increase and we are seeking a dedicated and effective Partnerships Account Manager to join our team and support the increased demand for our provision and the continued scaling of our organisation.

The Organisation

Equal Education is a social enterprise working to improve outcomes and narrow the attainment gap for disadvantaged and under-resourced learners, including Children Looked After, those with SEND, and unaccompanied asylum seeking children. We have over 13 years’ experience delivering 1:1 tuition, working with hundreds of Schools and Local Authority partners across the country, reaching hundreds of pupils annually. 

As a member of the Fair Education Alliance, we believe in providing meaningful educational provision to students whose needs may not be best met within a traditional classroom environment, those who aren’t currently accessing education, or who benefit from additional 1:1 support. We work with over 400 qualified teachers to provide academic, subject specialised and individual tutoring and mentoring for children of all ages. Tutors provide pastoral care and work with pupils to increase engagement and attainment. Our programmes will help the students to overcome barriers to learning, help them build trusted relationships, increase their aspirations, and fulfil their potential. We are passionate about our cause and are looking for people who are motivated by a strong desire to address educational inequality and improve outcomes. 

What is the Role?

The Partnerships Account Manager will drive business growth by securing new partnerships and managing key client accounts across designated regions. With a focus on building and sustaining long-term local council and school relationships, the Partnerships Account Manager will work closely with clients to understand their needs, expand our service offerings, and ensure the highest levels of satisfaction. The majority of our key client relationships are with local councils, so a knowledge of how they operate would be very useful. 

The post holder will have the opportunity to line manage junior member(s) of the team, who provide essential bid-writing and administrative support to facilitate efficient and effective client management.

This role would suit someone with proven ability to operate effectively in scaling organisations where processes are still being defined. This role suits someone who is adaptable, resilient, and confident working at pace amid change.

The role will be suited to those who have worked within an education setting and held the title: SENCO, Head of Department, Advisory Teacher, Inclusion Coordinator or Designated Teacher. The role will also be suited to those who have worked within a Local Authority setting and held the title: Commissioning Officer, Senior Case Officer, Case Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

   • Proactively seek new business opportunities within assigned regions to grow the client base.

   • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with key clients, ensuring their evolving needs are met and service offerings are aligned.

   • Lead regular client review meetings to discuss progress, gather feedback, and identify additional service opportunities.

   • Manage internal relationships to ensure what matters to clients is communicated internally using the proper channels, to allow for effective delivery by our Operations teams. 

   • Maintain good internal stakeholder relationships with our Operations teams to ensure high client demands are balanced with our processes and team capacity. 

2. Strategic Planning and Development

   • Collaborate with Senior Leaders to develop strategies for client retention and growth.

   • Work closely with the wider partnerships team to align on strategic objectives and ensure seamless service delivery across functions.

   • Participate in client and industry events to represent the organisation, expand networks, and identify new business opportunities.

3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

   • Monitor client engagement, satisfaction levels, and service outcomes; produce regular progress reports for management.

   • Oversee tracking and analysis of client-related statistics to ensure targets are met and clients receive impactful, value-driven service.

   • Manage and track client data and prospect pipelines using CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.

   • Report to SLT on accounts, Tenders, Bids, client meetings on a regular basis

   • Be curious to explore our Salesforce system data, understanding and interpreting delivery and impact data 

4. Team Management and Support Coordination

   • Lead, mentor, and manage junior members of the team focused on bid application writing, tender management, and client-related administration.

   • Support direct reports in producing and reviewing high-quality application documents and responses that align with client requirements and enhance our partnership outcomes.

   • Provide oversight to ensure that administrative tasks are completed efficiently, supporting smooth client interactions and consistent follow-through.

   • Work with other area leaders, such as our ‘Allocations’ and Recruitment teams to ensure we can fulfil referrals

   • Foster a strong working relationship between the Partnerships team and Recruitment, to ensure our application strategy is informed by tutor availability. 

5. Bid Management and Process Improvement

   • Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders and bid applications, working closely with administrators to ensure high-quality and timely submissions.

   • Continuously review and improve internal processes to optimise bid management, client onboarding, and service delivery.

   • Report on bid submission performance, review client feedback to continuously improve. 

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Detailed knowledge of the UK Education Sector. 

• Experience working in the education sector or with local authorities, particularly in roles involving SEND or children’s services.

• Proven track record in client relationship management, with experience in sales or partnership development roles.

• Strong communication skills, particularly in face-to-face and telephone interactions, with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-lasting relationships.

• Experience managing a small team, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure high-performance standards.

• High level of empathy and commitment to supporting under-resourced and underserved communities.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet both short- and long-term deadlines effectively.

• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking client data, leads, and progress.

• Proactive, problem-solving mindset, able to address issues independently and provide client-focused solutions.

• Able to work in a high pressure environment, whilst taking initiative, we would want the postholder to ask for support when needed.ed

Desirable:

• Exceptional written communication skills, with proven confidence in drafting, editing, and refining persuasive content across a variety of formats. Experience in bid and tender writing or grant applications is advantageous, though a background in producing compelling written materials for diverse purposes is equally valued.

In this varied and exciting role, you will support the sales and operations processes behind our range of products and services, including WOW – the walk to school challenge, our award-winning offer for primary schools. The postholder will work within our trading subsidiary, Living Streets Services Ltd, helping deliver both commercial goals and charitable purpose.

·Act as the first point of contact for sales enquiries via phone and email.

·Support the full sales process, from preparing quotes and proposals to managing client accounts.

·Assist with order processing, fulfilment, invoicing and resolving delivery or service issues.

·Help organise outreach events and support the coordination of our annual WOW badge competition.

Sheffield Cathedral is embarking on an ambitious seven-year journey as a resourcing cathedral, pioneering mission in the inclusive catholic tradition. At the heart of this vision is the creation of the Community of St Paulinus (CsP), a new non-residential mission community rooted in daily prayer and committed to revitalising parishes and planting new worshipping communities across the Diocese.

To help deliver this exciting work, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the Project Resource Team and ensure the smooth running of this initiative. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on strategy and delivery, is highly organised, and has experience managing complex projects—preferably within a church, charity, or community setting.

• Lead and coordinate a small, agile Project Resource Team

• Develop and oversee delivery plans for the seven-year project

• Support monitoring, evaluation and reporting for national funders

• Build strong partnerships across parishes, the CsP, and other stakeholders

Duties

· Planning and facilitating life-skill activities for service users with learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries and additional mental health needs.

· Enriching service user’s physical and mental wellbeing through teaching new skills related to their daily lives.

· Engaging with the wider community through day trips, visits and other educational experiences

· Developing projects and a curriculum that can be followed to provide a structured program of learning.

Essential Criteria

· An awareness of mental illness, learning disabilities & autism

· Teaching qualification or experience of delivering learning

· Able to plan and organise effectively

· Experience of working in a learning environment

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate with a range of people, using a variety of communication methods

· A passion for working with people with additional needs and providing person-centred support

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of Sporting Assets, advancing our mission to help create healthy, resilient communities with sport and physical activity at their core.

Sporting Assets is the leading provider of advisory and investment management services to the sport and physical activity sector in the UK.  We manage impact investment funds that provide affordable patient loans to community-based organisations delivering impact through sport and physical activity. Investors and stakeholders in our funds include Sport England, National Governing Bodies, Trusts and Foundations such as the Bank Workers Charity, and Impact Investors including the Access Foundation and Better Society Capital.

Beyond our funds, we provide business advisory services to the sector, helping organisations such as clubs, infrastructure bodies and NGBs build capacity, develop investment cases and business plans to secure funding and finance plus other outcomes such as tenure to become more sustainable and impactful. 

We work across the public, private, and charitable sectors, delivering practical, specialist advice backed by deep expertise in community engagement, enterprise and facility development, finance, and impact investing. Our advisory work equips organisations with the tools and capacity to deliver effectively, while our investments build more sustainable and impactful community sport enterprises.

In addition to our London office, we have recently opened an office in Leeds.

Role

As a Senior Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to deliver a range of projects within the Advisory team. Reporting directly to the Head of Advisory, you will be responsible for:

• Project Leadership and Delivery. Leading and managing advisory projects from inception to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients.
• Strategic and Operational Client Support. Providing client-facing support across business planning, financial sustainability, governance, stakeholder engagement, and impact measurement.
• Enterprise Growth and Community Development. Working closely with clients, funders and partners to deliver support and guidance enabling enterprise growth and community development within the sport and physical activity sector.
• Investment Readiness Support. Contributing to the development of new services and business opportunities aligned with our mission, including supporting our investment team to deliver investment readiness support across our fund portfolios.

Internally you will be:

• Collaborative Team Leader. Contributing to a team environment that values knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and inclusivity. Fostering a collaborative and positive team environment by contributing proactively, constructively, and setting a strong example for others.

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential

• Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in a consultancy, strategic, or senior programme role within the social and community enterprise sector, ideally in sport and physical activity.
• Strong track record of managing multiple projects and prioritising effectively under pressure.
• Deep understanding of how the community and social enterprise sector, ideally through sport, can contribute to wider social outcomes, including health, wellbeing, regeneration, inclusion, and community resilience.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to engage credibly with a diverse range of people and organisations including marginalised communities and senior leaders from public, commercial and community organisations.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent empathy and active listening skills with the ability to connect with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proven business coaching and mentoring skills supporting individuals and community organisations.

Desirable

• Experience in financial modelling, business planning and investment readiness support with a clear understanding of the key drivers of profitability and sustainable growth.
• Working knowledge of the legal and governance structures available to community based and socially driven organisations ideally including those operating in sport and physical activity.
• Working knowledge of community and social investment plus funding landscapes.
• Operational experience of community organisations and social enterprises, ideally in sport.
• Understanding of social impact measurement and reporting, including methods such as SROI, outcomes frameworks, theory of change and Power BI.

We do not expect candidates to possess all of these skills and competencies, importantly what we are looking for is someone who can show how their skills and experience could be adapted to fit this profile, if/where there are gaps.

• 25 days flexible holiday plus additional 2-3 days fixed at Christmas (plus English bank holidays).
