The service is staffed 24/7 and this post-holder will be required to cover an average of at least one sleep-in per week (pro rata).

What you'll do:
- If a need arises, deliver all aspects of support to enable a customer to develop independent living skills as appropriate to the individual needs of the customer. This includes delivering personal and physical care as appropriate;
- Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation;
- Participate in support planning and risk management, of named customers, as directed by the service management;
- Ensure the safety and security of the customers and the premises whilst on shift;
- Enable customers to make full use of community facilities by providing support that enables maximum external engagement;
- Report any observations relating to customers welfare

Richmond Carers Centre, a network partner of the Carers Trust, is a registered charity providing information, support, advice and a voice for carers living and caring in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
Helping Carers to Live Well is our organisational aim. We provide a targeted service to young carers, aged 5 – 18 years. Young carers, provide vital emotional and practical support to a family member with a care need including sibling young carers. Their care role can have an impact on their wellbeing, education and social opportunities. We are looking for someone with the skills and ability to offer a coordinated approach in supporting young carers in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
As a Young Carers Support Worker, you will be part of a small, dedicated team and take a lead on providing emotional support to young carers and a commitment to enhancing their wellbeing. The role supports in the direct delivery of a range of services to young carers including information and advice, emotional support, a mentoring programme, signposting and referrals to other specialist organisations. As part of the Young Carers Support Team, you will also be involved in the planning and delivery of an extensive programme of leisure break activities for young carers, both term-time and in the school holidays. Part of the role will also aim to improve the identification, recognition and understanding of the needs of young carers, raise the profile of young carers and ensure young carers needs are met. Using all your skills, you will work with the team to deliver, review, and continually develop services for young carers and to use appropriate monitoring and evaluation reports to show our funders what we’ve achieved.
You will be someone:

Main Duties include:

· To be proactive in the identification and registration of young carers, which will include conducting internal assessments of their caring role and responsibilities and identifying support needs
· To support with the planning and participate in the delivery of young carers group activities and events
· To work with schools, voluntary organisations, statutory services, health services and others to raise awareness and identify young carers
· To keep accurate records of group and individual young carer engagement for monitoring and evaluation purposes
· To participate in key events organised by Richmond Carers Centre and other relevant partners to promote services to a wider public

We are looking for a motivated Senior Case Worker to join the team at our St Mungo’s Starlight project.
The Starlight project is a 6 bed refuge for Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer men and Non-Binary people made homeless due to domestic abuse. Our aim is to resolve homelessness through dedicated support over a 6-9 month period. We provide immediate safety, alongside advocacy and support, working to rebuild lives, address unmet needs and connect clients to specialist services, building resilience, independence and self-esteem to prevent revictimisation.
In the role of Senior Case Worker you will work with a wide range of partners, accessing strong local opportunities in Hammersmith & Fulham, including housing pathways, community resources, learning and specialist support. Starlight also has strong links with LGBTQ+ organisations across London. In this role you will:
- Take a leading role in the support, care and case management of all our residents, lone working and providing 1-1 case working with clients on a regular basis.
- Oversee referrals and lead on assessments.
- Maintain accurate compliant casework records, and other relevant admin duties.
- Manage a complex and varied caseload and using motivational interviewing techniques, person centred and trauma informed approaches to identify personal goals awork towards achieving them.

SCM is looking for a recent graduate to spend a year working with us to help us to continue to build on the work of our successful Faith in Action project.
Run in partnership with Project Bonhoeffer, a small charitable trust, the project began in 2012 with a vision that Christian students in Britain would have a greater awareness and understanding of Bonhoeffer’s radical approach to faith and discipleship, and its implications for Christian living in the modern world.
The project has helped to run over a dozen campaigns from Food Poverty to Peace, and had an immeasurable impact on thousands of students through blogs, resources, and relationships. All of this is bringing to light many ‘Bonhoeffers’ of today negotiating the implications on Christian living in the world.
In 2021, we developed the Faith in Action project as a graduate scheme by employing two graduates to work on the project; one to lead on theology bringing a depth of learning and theological refection, and the other to be a campaigns lead, taking us always back out into the world to make a difference.
The project has been very successful, and now we are looking to grow it for further. We are looking for a passionate graduate to join the project for the 2025-26 academic year.
In this role, you will be a theologian to make other theologians, and will provide the framework for students to be able to reflect theologically on their life and modern Christian living. You will be responsible for growing the breadth of SCM’s Faith in Action resources, and discovering new ways of connecting with the current membership via the trends of social media or engaging in face-to-face reflections. An activist to make other activists, you will coordinate social action for SCM, engaging the membership in social justice projects that maximise our impact in society and the world.
You will work to build relationships between SCM communities and members to equip students with the skills they need to become faith-filled agents of social and political change and lead them in theological reflection to discern their involvement in local and national campaigns. You will also work to develop relationships with other Christian social justice and campaigning organisations to create opportunities for students to put their faith into action. In all of this, you will be supported by our small but perfectly-formed team, who will share your values and fully understand your aims in this project.
The role will require some travel within Britain, as well as semi-regular visits to the office in Birmingham, which may also include an overnight stay. All reasonable expenses for travel and accommodation will be reimbursed. Some evening and weekend work may be required for which time off in lieu will be given.

Guildford Foyer provides 24/7 supported accommodation for up to 34 young people aged 16–25, many with complex needs, including unaccompanied asylum‑seeking young people. We use a trauma‑informed, psychologically informed approach to help residents build life skills, set goals, and move towards independent living. Our Support Workers, Night Workers and Bank Workers offer guidance around housing, budgeting, living skills, education, employment and community engagement. We adopt a trauma informed and psychologically informed approach to supporting our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and work towards aspirations so that they can move on to enjoy fully independent futures.
We are looking for a Housing Night Worker to join our team at Guildford Foyer. You will respond promptly to any reported incidents, accidents, or concerns, carrying out thorough checks and taking appropriate action to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone on site. You will also take a proactive approach to preventing anti‑social behaviour, working closely with support staff to maintain a positive environment. In addition, you will carry out one‑to‑one interventions with young people who may be experiencing a mental health crisis or who require medical assistance, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate support.
What you will be doing - this is more than a night shift role - it’s an opportunity to make a real difference, working as part of a dedicated team committed to helping young people grow and develop.
Main areas of responsibilities are:
Safety and security
- Provide a friendly, professional presence and ensure the building remains safe, secure and welcoming at night.
- Support resident wellbeing by upholding health and safety procedures, house rules and tenancy requirements.
- Monitor risks and respond to incidents calmly and appropriately, recording and reporting to the relevant teams.
Resident engagement
- Welcome residents and offer informal, responsive assistance to help them develop confidence, independence and life skills.
- Encourage residents to share their views and engage with available services and opportunities.

Administration and housekeeping
- Complete essential admin tasks including data entry, case notes and record management.
- Carry out routine health and safety, compliance and room checks.
- Log maintenance issues to ensure the building remains safe and well maintained.
General
- Work collaboratively on a four‑on, four‑off rota, providing consistent, non‑judgemental support overnight.
- Maintain a calm, professional approach and handle challenging situations effectively.
- Take part in ongoing training and reflective practice to support psychologically informed care.
This role involves lone working, so you will need to be confident in decision‑making and in following procedures. However, before joining the rota, you will have the opportunity to get to know the team and services, take part in a full induction, complete the required training, and undertake shadow shifts to ensure you feel confident, supported, and well prepared.

About the Role
The role involves managing a one-to-one client caseload while contributing to the delivery of Social Support Groups. The Social Support service provides tailored, personalised support based on each individual needs. This includes using a range of tools and techniques to help people improve areas of their life they may be struggling with. As a Peer Support Worker you will:
- Offer 1-1 support in St Albans, Hatfield and Stevenage, and within other HMN Wellbeing Centres across the County depending on client need and waiting lists
- Deliver Social Support Groups within our Wellbeing Centres
- Work with clients to identify their individual needs and support them through a personalised, person-centred approach
- Support clients in a variety of settings, including within the community, their home, and our Wellbeing Centres
- Play an integral role in embedding HMN’s values through our 1-1 and group support

The successful candidate will have significant proven knowledge of models and services to meet the needs of adults with mental health needs and of delivering mental health services within a health and social care setting as well as an understanding of the relationship between mental health and social issues and how these issues may impact on physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

About the role
Reporting in to the Church Engagement & Fundraising Advisor, the Church Engagement & Fundraising Officer will empower people and amplifying change by proactively identifying opportunities to inspire and equip a defined set of churches, groups, specialist volunteers,
and individuals.
The post-holder will foster relationships built on trust and openness, collaborating both across and outside the organisation to drive meaningful impact in fundraising and campaigning activities.

About the role
As a Coach in the Structured Coaching Team, you will be the lead worker for people who engage well with the service and are able to work with you to develop and follow a personalised plan to end their homelessness. Also evidencing the barriers faced by members to directly inform our Policy and Campaigns strategies, using the Crisis Member Achievement and Progression System (MAPS) and case management standards.

You will as part of the Crisis team, make and maintain collaborative, consistent relationships with our members, staff, volunteers and other organisations.

- An understanding of psychologically informed approaches when working with people who have experienced complex trauma and marginalised individuals.
