It is about:

building a pipeline of serious organisations and opening real conversations

What you will do

1. Build a target pipeline

• Identify and map 50–100 relevant organisations, including:
  • Energy companies (hydrogen, renewables)
  • Climate funds and investors
  • Foundations and international organisations
• Find key decision-makers (partnerships, strategy, innovation roles)

2. Support outreach and activation

• Draft and send targeted outreach messages (email / LinkedIn)
• Track responses and manage follow-ups
• Help convert interest into scheduled conversations

3. Structure opportunities

• Help prepare briefs, proposals, and decks
• Translate ongoing conversations into clear partnership opportunities
• Support positioning Mudland’s offer in a structured way

4. Build internal systems

• Set up and maintain a simple CRM / tracking system
• Organise contacts, conversations, and next steps
• Help create a repeatable pipeline process

What we are looking for

• Strong communication skills (clear, concise, confident)
• Comfortable with outreach and professional communication
• Ability to research and structure information
• Interest in climate, energy, or global development
• Self-driven and reliable (this matters more than experience)

We partner with communities to collect, trace, and recycle plastic, creating jobs and preventing pollution.​

We're looking for a Business Development Associate to drive the next chapter of Second Life's growth.

As demand for credible, traceable plastic action accelerates, driven by Extended Producer Responsibility regulation, voluntary ESG commitments, and consumer expectations, companies are actively seeking partners like us. Your job is to find them, qualify them, and walk them through to signed partnerships.

You'll own the full commercial cycle: identifying corporate prospects (cosmetics, FMCG, food & beverage, retail, travel), running outreach and discovery, designing the right project proposal with the help of our CEO, negotiating commercial terms, and closing.

This is a high-autonomy role for someone who genuinely cares about environmental impact and knows how to translate that into a commercial conversation.

What you'll do:
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline of corporate partners across target sectors and geographies (Europe, North America, APAC)
- Run outbound outreach via LinkedIn, email, warm introductions, and partner referrals to sustainability, procurement, packaging, and CSR leaders.
- Lead discovery calls and partner workshops; understand each company's plastic footprint, regulatory exposure, and sustainability strategy.
- Work with our operations and technical team to scope tailored projects: collection volumes, geographies, traceability requirements, co-branding opportunities.
- Build commercial proposals, and contracts
- Stay sharp on the competitive landscape: plastic credits standards (Verra, others), EPR regulation in key markets, and emerging buyer expectations.

Role Summary

As our Volunteer Legal Operations Associate, you will support Solution Community’s legal and operational functions by assisting with document management, policy coordination, compliance tracking, and administrative legal processes. The associate will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain organized legal documentation, support operational processes, and strengthen internal governance and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing and maintaining legal and operational documentation, contracts, agreements, and internal records

• Support policy review and document formatting for organizational consistency

• Track document workflows, approvals, and renewal timelines

• Assist with compliance-related administrative tasks and governance coordination

Qualifications

• One to two years of professional experience with a background or strong interest in Legal Studies, Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, International Development, or related fields

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable working in a remote, multicultural, and collaborative environment

As a Event Physician Associate volunteer, you’ll help St John Ambulance provide first aid at large and small events within the community. You’ll be part of a team of volunteers delivering help where it’s needed, dealing with everything from a sprained ankle to a cardiac arrest.

The experience you gain could lead to more advanced roles, including patient transport, cycle response, advanced first aid and emergency response. You’ll make a real difference to your community and have a huge impact on the nation’s health. 

You’ll get a huge sense of satisfaction and pride delivering an essential service. It’s great for you, great for your community and great for our nation, and it requires only a small commitment of your time. 

We will make sure you will have access to a proper induction to volunteering with SJA and the training you need for the role you take on. Selection for role will be held over Microsoft Teams or face to face. 

If you are successful you will need to undertake induction & training for role;  Welcome and Induction events will depend on the date ad location of new volunteers.  Training for role will depend on the needs of the new volunteers and will be discussed during their professional discussion post recruitment
