Influential Stars was founded by Lisa Connell, who is living with an inoperable brain tumour and has spent many years raising awareness and support for UK causes.
The platform was created from a deeply personal belief that influence, connection, and community can be powerful forces for good when brought together in the right way. Volunteers play a vital role in helping turn that vision into real world impact, enabling experiences that raise funds, create joy for winners, and support charitable organisations across the UK.
The Role
Help us grow a purpose driven platform supporting UK causes through meaningful campaigns and exclusive experiences. We’re looking for a creative and organised volunteer to help manage and schedule content across Influential Stars’ social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
This job share role would suit someone who:
• Loves social media and storytelling • Enjoys planning and organising content • Understands engagement driven content • Can work independently and proactively • Wants to use their skills to support meaningful causes What you’ll help with: • Scheduling and planning content • Maintaining content calendars • Creating and posting social content • Community engagement and replying to messages/comments • Helping share campaigns and creator stories • Supporting brand consistency across platforms Flexible remote role.
Approximate hours
Can vary depending on campaigns and availability. This job holder will work with one additional team member.
Previous experience managing social media accounts and scheduling content across platforms is essential. We’re looking for someone confident working independently who can proactively manage content with minimal supervision. Although this is currently a volunteer opportunity, Influential Stars is actively growing with the long term aim of creating paid opportunities in the future. We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team and support the growth of an exciting lifestyle and wellness brand. What You’ll Do
Develop and implement a results-driven social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest)

Manage content calendars, ensuring consistent posting and alignment with campaigns

What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in social media management (agency or brand side)
Strong understanding of wellness, lifestyle, and community-driven content
Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, Later/Buffer, or similar
Excellent copywriting skills and a good eye for design and brand storytelling
Ability to analyse metrics and translate them into actionable strategies
Creative thinker, highly organised, and able to work independently
Nice to Have
Experience with influencer outreach and partnerships
Paid ads management (Meta, TikTok, Google)
Interest in health, wellness, or lifestyle sectors

Overview
Are you a vegan wildlife enthusiast who wants to make a difference and protect UK Wildlife? Why not volunteer on our small, friendly team and create educational online content?
This remote, flexible, part-time (5 hrs/wk) role is ideal for someone passionate about UK wildlife, animal wellbeing, and ethical conservation.
Summary of the Role
Create 1 social media post a week using Canva Pro.
Your posts will focus solely on UK wildlife issues. Eg: hunting, shooting, human-animal conflict, roadkill.
Research resources with appropriate copyright licenses (copyright training given).
Critically analyse information to create challenging responses to the status quo and campaign for UK wildlife rights.
Write persuasive captions to accompany your post.
Submit your post to a feedback and edit process before publication.
File your published post in our folder system.

Do you have experience in managing social media channels and creating content, and have some time you can give back to help an amazing cause? PINT Giving are looking for a volunteer Social Media Manager!
This role can be remote, however if you are based in London or Liverpool we would love you to come along to an Outreach visit to experience first hand the great work that PINT does.
Our volunteer Social Media Manager will be responsible for helping PINT build its presence across all social media channels, creating engaging content that raises awareness of the charity’s work, encourages support and helps people understand the difference PINT makes in the community. This role will involve planning and posting content, helping to tell stories about PINT’s projects and impact, and working with other volunteers to make sure our social media activity is consistent, creative and aligned with wider marketing and communications activity.
We are looking for volunteers with experience managing social media channels, creating content and building engagement online. We are particularly interested in hearing from people who can write strong copy, create or source visual content, and understand how to tailor posts for different platforms and audiences. We are also looking for someone who is creative, organised and responsive, with the ability to collaborate with other volunteers to help share PINT’s story in a positive and consistent way.

The time commitment can be flexible with whatever you are able to give, but around 4 hours a week on average could be a good estimate.
