The Events Manager is in charge of organising events for Chapters. They will ensure there is a suitable amount of events booked in for every chapter in accordance to predicted volunteer availability. They will take event booking forms and advertise these events to the volunteers, pushing them to sign up to events.

Position Summary:

The Event Lead will lead the strategy, design, and execution of all events, ensuring they align with the organization’s goals and deliver memorable experiences. This role oversees the end-to-end event planning process, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, and team coordination. As the driving force behind the organization’s events, the Event Lead will ensure high standards of creativity, efficiency, and impact while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Event Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with organizational goals and enhances brand visibility.

  • Identify event opportunities, including conferences, product launches, fundraisers, and internal engagements, to achieve strategic objectives.

• Event Design & Execution:

  • Lead the planning and execution of all events, ensuring seamless logistics, creative concepts, and high-quality delivery.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure event themes, messaging, and objectives are aligned with organizational priorities.

• Budget Management:

  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.

  • Track expenses, negotiate vendor contracts, and identify opportunities for cost savings.

• Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, venues, and partners to ensure successful event execution.

  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to meet quality standards and timelines.

• Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the event planning team to achieve excellence in execution.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing environment, ensuring clear communication and accountability.

• Event Marketing & Promotion:

  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events, including developing promotional materials, social media campaigns, and press outreach.

  • Ensure a strong event presence across digital and physical platforms to maximize attendance and engagement.

• Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Measure event success through post-event reporting, feedback collection, and KPIs.

  • Use insights to refine event planning processes and improve future events.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Community-Oriented: A deep understanding of the Muslim community in Ontario, especially in relation to university students and local mosques.

As an Activities Organiser, you'll bring your skills, energy and enthusiasm to lead, develop and plan activities and events with your local group. You’ll get involved in creating and coordinating an annual calendar of events, making sure they’re run safely and effectively, to be accessible to our MS community. You’ll take a lead role at events on the day, inspiring your fellow volunteers to get involved.

Our Board of Trustees is seeking one or more new trustees to help shape the future of EFT International as we continue to strengthen our governance, support our members, and deliver our charitable mission. What are we looking for?

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting the work of charities and can bring strategic thinking, sound judgement, and a collaborative approach to our Board.

You will have experience in a leadership, management or advisory role, with the ability to build positive relationships, communicate effectively, and work constructively with volunteers and fellow trustees. Previous experience of serving on a charity board or working within the voluntary sector is welcomed but not essential.

We're particularly interested in people who can contribute expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Governance
• Marketing and communications
• Finance
• Human Resources
• Legal
• Event management

You should be able to think strategically, make balanced decisions, maintain confidentiality, and work both independently and as part of a team. As our Board meets online, you'll also be comfortable using digital tools such as Zoom and Google Workspace.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to the mission and values of EFT International and is willing to dedicate around 10–15 hours per month to the role, including completing an induction programme, attending monthly Board meetings, and engaging with the charity's activities. Do you have experience in artist, label or talent management and have some time you can give back to help an amazing cause? Do you want to be part of an exciting new band launch? PINT Giving are looking for a volunteer label/artist manager! 

The PINT Syndicate, under the PINT brand umbrella, will be a new collective/band producing and performing original songs. The vision is for this new group to write, produce, record and perform their own original songs. We are building a founding team to work together to establish the band, including working with our volunteer HR manager to recruit all roles required including songwriters, producers, band members and singers. 

Our volunteer Label/Artist Manager will be responsible for working with the Project Lead to shape and coordinate the launch of the band. They will ultimately be the hands-on manager of the band once it is formed, supporting the members day to day and helping to keep activity organised, professional and moving forward. This role will involve being a key point of contact for band members, helping to recruit band members, coordinate rehearsals, recording sessions, performances and meetings, and making sure the right information is shared with the right people at the right time.

We are looking for volunteers with experience in artist management, label management, music partnerships, events, talent relations or the wider music industry. We are particularly interested in hearing from people who have strong relationship-building skills and understand how to work professionally with artists, managers, labels or creative teams. We are also looking for someone who is confident, organised and able to represent PINT positively, with the ability to collaborate with other volunteers to help turn this creative opportunity into real impact for PINT.
