A community where men and boys can grow confidence, resilience, connection, skills and a positive mindset — through practical support, mentoring, buddying, real conversations, real role models and people who genuinely care. A place that helps them navigate mental health and wellbeing with support that feels human, warm and real.

WE’RE BUILDING OUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

A group of passionate, committed volunteers who will help shape, guide and grow MINDSET from the very beginning.

This is not a traditional board. This is a start‑up leadership team. A group of people who want to build something meaningful, ambitious and full of heart.

If you want to help build a charity from the ground up — its strategy, systems, culture, programmes, partnerships and future — this is your moment.

THE ROLES WE’RE RECRUITING FOR

We’re looking for volunteers who can bring their skills, passion and experience to one of the following areas:

1. Compliance

Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Data Protection, risk management and ensuring MINDSET operates safely and responsibly.

2. Strategy Planning & Development

Helping shape MINDSET’s long‑term vision, goals, priorities and growth.

3. Fundraising & Grant Writing

Developing fundraising ideas, writing grant applications and helping secure the resources we need to grow.

4. Accounting & Finance Management

Supporting budgeting, financial planning, record‑keeping and financial oversight.

5. Mental Health

Providing insight, guidance and expertise to ensure our support is safe, ethical and effective.

6. Self‑Improvement & Personal Growth

Helping shape programmes that build confidence, resilience, mindset and personal development.

7. Governance & Company Secretary

Supporting governance, documentation, policies and ensuring MINDSET meets its legal responsibilities.

8. Service Delivery, Events & Partnerships

Helping design and deliver our services, build partnerships and create meaningful events.

9. Marketing & Brand

Helping shape MINDSET’s voice, identity, storytelling and public presence.

10. Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

Building relationships with organisations, partners and supporters who can help MINDSET grow.

11. Campaigns

Creating awareness campaigns that inspire men and boys to seek support and get involved.

12. IT & Digital Infrastructure

Helping us build simple, effective digital systems that support volunteers, programmes and operations.

13. Research, Policy & Data

Gathering insights, analysing data and helping us understand the needs of men and boys in London.

14. Coaching, Mentoring & Life Coaching

Supporting the development of coaching and mentoring pathways within our programmes.

15. HR, Volunteer Management & Learning & Development

Helping recruit, support and develop volunteers across the charity.
