MINDSET Charity is looking for a Volunteer Company Secretary to join our founding Board of Trustees.

We’re building MINDSET — a brand‑new, energetic mental health charity for men and boys in London.

Our focus is simple: practical, non‑clinical tools that actually feel good to use. Motivational interviewing. Solution‑focused approaches. Self‑improvement practices. Life coaching. Mentoring. Real conversations that help men understand themselves better, strengthen their mindset and take confident steps towards healthier futures.

Our mission is clear: to be the bridge into mental health — a safe, stigma‑free starting point where men and boys can reflect, set goals and get support long before crisis point.

Through our programmes, workshops and support, we equip men and boys with the skills and techniques that build resilience, boost wellbeing and create lasting change.

THE ROLE: COMPANY SECRETARY (VOLUNTEER)

This is a founding role — a chance to help build a charity from day one.

As our Company Secretary, you’ll be the steady hand that keeps MINDSET organised, compliant and running smoothly. You’ll support the Board, strengthen our governance, and help ensure we operate safely, responsibly and with integrity as we grow.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys structure, clarity, good documentation and helping a new organisation build strong foundations.

You will help us with:

• Ensuring MINDSET meets its legal and regulatory responsibilities

• Supporting the Chair and Trustees with governance and decision‑making

• Preparing and maintaining key documents, records and policies

• Coordinating Board meetings, agendas and minutes

• Helping shape simple, effective systems that support a start‑up charity

• Providing guidance on best practice in charity governance

• Keeping us aligned, organised and moving forward with confidence
