Job description

HELP US LAUNCH MINDSET — AND CHANGE MEN & BOYS’ LIVES IN LONDON

We’re MINDSET Charity, a bold new start‑up charity in London on a mission to equip and empower men and boys with the tools they need for better mental health.

We’re building something powerful — a stigma‑free space where men and boys can learn real, non‑clinical and non‑therapeutic practical skills that strengthen resilience, boost wellbeing and create lasting change. Through motivational interviewing, solution‑focused approaches, self‑improvement practices, life coaching, mentoring and more, we will help men and boys build better habits, better mindsets and a better quality of life.

And right now, we’re getting set up and ready to launch — and we need Programme Team Volunteers to help us build, deliver and grow the support we offer at MINDSET.

YOUR IMPACT WILL BE HUGE

You’ll be joining at the very beginning — helping shape the foundations of an exciting new charity in London. As part of our Programme Team, you will play a central role in designing, setting up, implementing and overseeing the programmes, workshops and support pathways that men and boys will rely on.

Your ideas, creativity, experience and passion will directly influence how quickly we can launch, how effective our support becomes, and how many men and boys we can reach long before crisis point.

This is your chance to build something meaningful at the very start — shaping a charity that will genuinely change lives across our capital.

WE’RE RECRUITING FOR KEY PROGRAMME TEAM ROLES

1. Programme Lead

The architect of our support. You’ll design the structure, content and delivery of our programmes, ensuring everything we offer is practical, impactful and rooted in real‑world wellbeing tools.

2. Programme Development Officer

The creator and builder. You’ll help develop workshops, activities, resources and tools that support men and boys to build resilience, confidence and healthier mindsets.

3. Programme Delivery & Facilitation Officer

The hands‑on facilitator. You’ll help run sessions, support participants, guide discussions and bring our programmes to life in a safe, positive and empowering way.

4. Programme Support & Logistics Coordinator

The organiser behind the scenes. You’ll help schedule sessions, organise materials, support facilitators, manage sign‑ups and ensure everything runs smoothly.

WHAT YOU CAN HELP US BUILD

1. Programme Design

  • Creating workshop outlines

  • Designing wellbeing tools and exercises

  • Developing support pathways

  • Researching best practice in men’s mental health

2. Programme Implementation

  • Setting up early pilot programmes

  • Creating resources, handouts and materials

  • Helping shape our 6‑week and 12‑week self‑improvement programmes

  • Supporting the development of our Schools Work and Life Coaching Programme

3. Programme Delivery

  • Facilitating sessions

  • Supporting participants

  • Helping create safe, positive, stigma‑free spaces

  • Using motivational interviewing and solution‑focused approaches

4. Programme Operations

  • Scheduling sessions

  • Organising venues or online platforms

  • Managing sign‑ups and attendance

  • Supporting facilitators and volunteers

If you love people, wellbeing, personal development, community and building meaningful support — this is the perfect role for you.

WE’RE NOT JUST LOOKING FOR ANYONE

We’re especially interested in people who:

  • thrive on the challenge of setting up a new charity

  • have entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy building something from scratch

  • aren’t afraid to get stuck in, hands‑on, alongside volunteers

  • bring energy, ideas and a collaborative mindset

  • want to help create programmes that genuinely change men’s lives

  • enjoy designing, developing or delivering wellbeing support

If you’re someone who loves shaping, building and creating — this is your moment.
