Unlock YOUR Potential supports NEET adults (18+) across East London to rebuild confidence, access coaching, improve wellbeing, and reconnect with their ambitions. As a start‑up preparing for charity registration, we need someone who can help us stay compliant, organised, and operationally strong.

This role is the engine room of our organisation — the person who ensures everything runs smoothly, safely, and professionally.

Your Impact

As our Company Secretary & Admin/Office Manager, you will play a critical role in building the systems, governance, and administrative foundations that allow us to grow responsibly and sustainably.

You will help us:

  • Prepare for and navigate the charity registration process

  • Build strong governance practices and ensure legal compliance

  • Keep our records, policies, and documentation organised and up to date

  • Support Trustees, volunteers, and programme leads with essential admin

  • Create the operational structure that allows our services to run smoothly

  • Ensure we meet our responsibilities as a responsible, ethical organisation

Your work will directly influence our credibility, stability, and long‑term success.

What You’ll Lead On

  • Governance & Compliance: Supporting the Board, maintaining statutory records, and ensuring we meet legal obligations.

  • Charity Registration: Helping prepare documents, policies, and evidence for our application.

  • Admin & Operations: Managing emails, scheduling, filing systems, and day‑to‑day organisational tasks.

  • Policy Management: Keeping safeguarding, HR, data protection, and operational policies updated.

  • Meeting Support: Preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow‑up actions are completed.

  • Internal Coordination: Helping the team stay organised, informed, and aligned.

This is a strategic and hands‑on role — perfect for someone who loves structure, clarity, and making things work.

What You Bring

You don’t need to have worked in a charity before — what matters most is organisation, reliability, and a commitment to good governance.

You may be:

  • Experienced in administration, office management, governance, HR, or compliance

  • Skilled at creating order, systems, and processes

  • Comfortable managing documents, policies, and organisational workflows

  • Someone who enjoys supporting others and keeping things running smoothly

  • A person who cares deeply about East London and wants to help build something meaningful
