Job description

We Need Your Help!

Demand for our support in Tower Hamlets and the surrounding areas is rising fast, and our programmes are expanding — but we cannot grow, secure funding, or become a registered charity without someone who can help us understand, measure, and communicate our impact.

We urgently need a leader who believes in evidence, learning, and the power of data to drive social change.

Become Our Volunteer Impact & Evaluation Manager and Help Us Prove What’s Possible

Unlock YOUR Potential supports NEET adults (18+) across East London to rebuild confidence, improve wellbeing, and move toward employment, education, or training. As a start‑up preparing for charity registration, we must demonstrate that our programmes work — and that they change lives.

We need someone who can build our impact framework from the ground up and help us tell the story of our success with clarity and credibility.

This is your chance to shape the evidence base behind a movement.

Your Impact

As our Impact & Evaluation Manager, you will be the person who helps us understand what’s working, what’s changing, and how we can grow. Your leadership will shape how we measure outcomes, track progress, and communicate our impact to funders, partners, and the community.

You will help us:

  • Build the evidence needed for charity registration

  • Track outcomes across our 12‑week programme, 1‑2‑1 coaching, wellbeing workshops, and mentoring

  • Collect and analyse data that shows real change in confidence, wellbeing, and employability

  • Produce impact reports that strengthen funding applications

  • Ensure we learn, improve, and grow based on real insights

  • Tell the story of our participants’ journeys with dignity and accuracy

Your work will directly influence our credibility, sustainability, and long‑term success.

What You’ll Lead On

  • Impact Framework: Designing the systems and tools we use to measure change.

  • Data Collection: Creating simple, accessible ways for staff and volunteers to gather data.

  • Outcome Tracking: Monitoring progress across all programmes and services.

  • Evaluation: Analysing data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.

  • Reporting: Producing clear, compelling impact reports for trustees, funders, and partners.

  • Charity Registration Evidence: Helping us gather the proof we need to demonstrate public benefit.

  • Storytelling with Integrity: Combining data with participant stories to show real‑world impact.

This is a strategic and analytical role — perfect for someone who loves turning numbers into insight and insight into action.

What You Bring

You don’t need to have worked in a charity before — what matters most is curiosity, structure, and a passion for learning what works.

You may be:

  • Experienced in impact measurement, evaluation, research, data analysis, or programme monitoring

  • Skilled at designing surveys, tools, or frameworks

  • Confident working with both qualitative and quantitative data

  • Someone who understands the challenges faced by NEET adults or brings lived experience

  • A clear communicator who can turn data into meaningful stories

Above all, you bring integrity, accuracy, and a belief that evidence can unlock opportunity.

What You Gain

  • A meaningful leadership role in a growing social impact start‑up

  • The chance to build an entire impact and evaluation function from scratch

  • Real influence over how we grow, improve, and secure future funding

  • Experience in impact measurement, charity development, and strategic reporting

  • A legacy — your work will shape how we prove our value for years to come

This is an opportunity to build the evidence behind a movement that changes lives.

If you’re ready to help us measure and amplify change, we’d love to hear from you.

Unlock YOUR Potential:

Help us build a future where no one is left behind.
