Our personal development and wellbeing workshops are a core part of our mission — and we need someone who can take ownership of this vital work.
This is your chance to design and deliver the workshops that help adults feel hopeful, confident, and ready to move forward.
Your Impact
As our Programme Manager (Personal Development & Wellbeing), you will be the guiding force behind our emotional and personal growth support. Your leadership will shape how adults rebuild confidence, manage stress, set goals, and develop the resilience they need to thrive.
You will help us:

Deliver empowering personal development and wellbeing workshops

Support adults with confidence‑building, resilience, and goal‑setting
-
Create safe, supportive spaces for adults to explore their wellbeing
-
Develop tools and resources that help participants manage stress and anxiety
-
Strengthen our wellbeing offer as we prepare for charity registration
-
Ensure our workshops are consistent, compassionate, and rooted in dignity
Your work will directly improve the emotional wellbeing and confidence of adults across Tower Hamlets and the surrounding areas.
What You’ll Lead On

Workshop Delivery: Leading personal development and wellbeing sessions (confidence, resilience, goal‑setting, mental wellbeing).

Programme Design: Creating structured, accessible workshop content and resources.

Participant Support: Ensuring every adult feels welcomed, understood, and supported.

1‑2‑1 Wellbeing Check‑ins: Offering light‑touch wellbeing conversations where needed (non‑clinical).

Volunteer Facilitators: Supporting and collaborating with wellbeing volunteers.
-
Monitoring & Impact: Tracking participant progress, feedback, and outcomes.
-
Safeguarding & Quality: Ensuring safe, ethical, and trauma‑informed practice.
This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role — perfect for someone who loves helping others grow emotionally and personally.
What You Bring
You don’t need to be a therapist — what matters most is empathy, facilitation skill, and a passion for personal development.
You may be:

Experienced in wellbeing facilitation, coaching, mentoring, or personal development

Skilled at creating safe, supportive group environments

Confident delivering workshops and guiding reflective conversations

Someone who understands the challenges faced by NEET adults or brings lived experience

A patient, compassionate communicator who believes in second chances
