Job description

We Need Your Help!

Demand for our support in Tower Hamlets and the surrounding areas is rising fast, and adults who feel stuck, overlooked, or disconnected are reaching out for help. We’re ready to step up — but we cannot deliver life‑changing career support without a leader who believes in empowerment, opportunity, and the power of coaching to transform lives.

We urgently need someone who can lead, shape, and deliver our career coaching offer with passion and purpose.

Become Our Volunteer Programme Manager (Career Coaching) and Help Adults in Tower Hamlets and the surrounding areas Rebuild Their Futures

Unlock YOUR Potential supports NEET adults (18+) across East London to rebuild confidence, gain clarity, and reconnect with their ambitions. Our 12‑week Career Coaching Programme and 1‑2‑1 coaching support are at the heart of what we do — and we need someone who can take ownership of this vital work.

This is your chance to design and deliver the programme that will help adults take their first steps back into employment, education, or training.

Your Impact

As our Programme Manager (Career Coaching), you will be the driving force behind our employability support. Your leadership will shape how adults experience our coaching, how they build confidence, and how they move toward meaningful opportunities.

You will help us:

  • Deliver a structured, high‑quality 12‑week career coaching programme

  • Provide 1‑2‑1 coaching to adults who need personalised support

  • Build a safe, encouraging environment where adults can explore their goals

  • Support participants with CVs, job applications, interview prep, and career planning

  • Strengthen our employability offer as we prepare for charity registration

  • Ensure our coaching is consistent, empowering, and rooted in dignity

Your work will directly change the trajectory of people’s lives.

What You’ll Lead On

  • Programme Delivery: Managing and delivering our 12‑week career coaching programme in Tower Hamlets and surrounding areas.

  • 1‑2‑1 Coaching: Providing personalised support to adults who need deeper guidance.

  • Participant Journey: Ensuring every adult feels welcomed, supported, and motivated.

  • Curriculum Development: Shaping session content, tools, and resources.

  • Volunteer Coaches: Supporting and collaborating with volunteer career coaches.

  • Monitoring & Impact: Tracking progress, outcomes, and success stories.

  • Safeguarding & Quality: Ensuring safe, ethical, and high‑quality coaching practice.

This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role — perfect for someone who loves helping others grow.

What You Bring

You don’t need to have worked in a charity before — what matters most is empathy, coaching skill, and a passion for helping adults move forward.

You may be:

  • Experienced in career coaching, employability, mentoring, or adult guidance

  • Skilled at helping people identify strengths, goals, and next steps

  • Confident delivering group sessions and 1‑2‑1 coaching

  • Someone who understands the challenges faced by NEET adults or brings lived experience

  • A patient, encouraging communicator who believes in second chances

Above all, you bring heart, clarity, and a commitment to helping adults unlock their potential.

What You Gain

  • A meaningful leadership role in a growing social impact start‑up

  • The chance to shape and deliver a flagship 12‑week programme

  • Real influence over how adults in Tower Hamlets and the surrounding areas access career support

  • Experience in programme management, coaching, and community impact

  • A legacy — your work will help build a pathway that supports hundreds in the future

This is an opportunity to guide people toward confidence, clarity, and new beginnings.

If you’re ready to help adults in Tower Hamlets and the surrounding areas build brighter futures, we’d love to hear from you.

Unlock YOUR Potential:

Help us build a future where no one is left behind.
