Job description

SARA is looking for a Sessional Helpline Worker to support our helpline and digital services by providing emotional support to survivors of sexual violence on at least one of our helpline and digital services shifts every two weeks. You will also be required to attend group clinical supervision once a month and attend our 'introduction to working with sexual violence' training (all supervision and training time will be paid for). You will follow safeguarding and confidentiality policies and procedures to ensure that our helpline and digital services provide safe, supportive and non-judgmental help for women who have experienced sexual violence.

Ability to speak additional languages is beneficial. The Sessional Helpline Worker will be employed on a self-employed basis. Additional shifts may be on offer to meet the needs of the service on an adhoc basis.
