What does this role do?

As a Graphic Designer you will: 

• Develop and evolve Dogs Trust’s visual identity and campaign concepts across digital and print,
• Produce a range of marketing materials for internal and external channels, including digital and print assets,
• Lead multiple design projects from brief to delivery, working with colleagues and external suppliers to ensure on-brand results,
• Champion best-practice design, including accessibility and EEDI, while staying current with trends, tools, and maintaining key brand assets.

About the Role

As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will provide pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic abuse through on-going risk assessment, providing individual safety planning, trauma-informed support, guidance, information, and advocacy and enabling victim/survivors to access the services they need in the aftermath of the abuse and trauma they have experienced.

You may work within a Hospital Trust's Safeguarding Team to support both patients and staff in an Acute Hospital setting, who have experienced Domestic Abuse. You will make initial contact with victims of domestic abuse, explaining our services and assessing the impact of crime, or receive referrals from colleagues, in order to provide on-going support and case management.

The Project Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our Council funded Adult Bereavement Service in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. This service aims to provide accessible, accessible, empathetic and effective support for adults affected by bereavement, particularly sudden or drug/alcohol-related deaths. The person:  
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled at building inspiring, energising and positive relationships, with a strong track record of developing and managing partnerships and programmes across a variety of stakeholders. This role needs a natural communicator who leads with positivity and clarity, building relationships with existing and new contacts at all levels, including service users, colleagues, board and senior management level. You will be accountable for creating and delivering against large scale partnership plans and developing new activities and events in collaboration with existing partners. They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of developing and delivering partnerships with charity/voluntary sector organisations as well as businesses, particularly in the sport for development field.

You demonstrate strong knowledge and/or relevant qualifications in housing and homelessness legislation, including the Housing Act and Homelessness Reduction Act, with a sound understanding of welfare benefits, welfare reform and Health & Safety regulations.

You have experience preventing and relieving homelessness, with practical skills in securing accommodation in the private rented sector, navigating tenancy agreements, understanding landlord–tenant relationships and local housing markets.

You have a proven ability to manage and support staff, including inductions, supervision, training, motivation, and handling grievance matters professionally. You also have solid safeguarding knowledge and can apply procedures effectively to protect clients.

You are confident coordinating work across multiple agencies, meeting deadlines through effective communication, organisation and leadership. You can build and negotiate strong partnerships to enhance services and secure positive outcomes for clients.
