About the role

Our Mentoring Service Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring that our mentoring support for serving personnel, veterans and families runs smoothly, safely and effectively every day.

This is a key operational position at the heart of our mentoring pathway — the first point of contact for enquiries, a reliable source for guiding cases through the system, and the person ensuring that quality, consistency and safeguarding remain at the forefront of everything we do.

This role is vital in coordinating the entire volunteer journey – from recruitment and onboarding through to training, compliance and offboarding – ensuring every mentor enjoys a positive, well‑supported and consistent experience throughout their time with the service.

You will act on behalf of the Service Manager in day‑to‑day operations and during periods of absence, ensuring continuity and confidence across the service.

About the Team

You will be joining a small, well‑established, and dedicated team covering the whole of the UK. With regular team meetings and a range of communication channels, you will receive ongoing support, training, and mentoring. Although we operate remotely, we are a closely connected team whose collaboration, commitment, and shared purpose drive our success.

About you

You’ll be confident working with sensitive, complex and sometimes emotional situations, drawing on sound knowledge of safeguarding, confidentiality and GDPR to ensure every interaction is handled safely and appropriately. Accuracy matters in this role, so you’ll take pride in maintaining high‑quality data and applying robust quality‑assurance processes to support safe, consistent service delivery.

You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.

You’ll have experience of working with volunteers or volunteering yourself, and understand what good volunteer practice looks like — from recruitment and induction through to ongoing support, management and recognition. Strong communication skills will enable you to build positive relationships with a wide range of people, whether internal colleagues, external partners, beneficiaries or volunteers.

There will be some travel required and therefore you will need to be able to drive and have access to your own car.

GFS is seeking a creative and values led Programme and Participation Coordinator to bring our
programmes of youth activities to life and ensure that girls and young women (GAYW) are at the
heart of everything we do. This role sits within the Development and Impact Team and is key to
designing and delivering inclusive, evidence-informed activities that support and inspire girls, and
develop their socio-emotional skills to build confidence, friendships and wellbeing.

The Programme and Participation Coordinator will develop engaging activities and resources,
support training for delivery staff and administer the monitoring and evaluation of programmes.
They will also champion the voices of GAYW in decision making, and create and deliver
participation opportunities that ensure girl voices are heard across GFS. By connecting

A Rocha UK is the only national Christian conservation charity in the UK. Our mission is to mobilise Christians and churches to care for the natural world. We do this currently through a number of programmes reaching different parts of the Christian community: Eco Church for local churches, Partners in Action facilitating conservation efforts by Christian land managers, Wild Christian, supporting individuals and households to act on nature, including by campaigning, and our Convening programme, supporting Christian environmental leaders. Purpose of Job:

Working closely with a Steering Group of senior staff and expert volunteers, you’ll coordinate the modular Christian Environmental Mobilisers (CEMs) course, from helping refine course modules, liaising with expert contributors and ensuring course promotion through A Rocha’s communications, to managing participant registration, scheduling online learning sessions, and helping evaluate impact. The two regional roles currently available are fundamental to the delivery of the third phase of the Seed Sovereignty Programme across southern and western England.

Working alongside the north east based England Lead, each role involves supporting seed networks across a dedicated region (southern or west of England)  through training, mentoring, and routes to market, as well as engaging with a range of groups and individuals through events, workshops and talks.  The role involves collaborating with the rest of the Seed Sovereignty Programme team remotely to share best practices and develop the delivery of the work nationally.

Key Responsibilities for the role:

Seed knowledge:  Understanding agroecology, small-scale seed production, seed sovereignty, and open-pollinated varieties.

· Has a good understanding of seed saving and agroecological seed systems.

· Supports outreach and communications to share knowledge on seed saving and agroecological seed systems.

· Assists in the identification and development of new regional opportunities.

Collaboration: Building strong, respectful relationships.

· Works closely with the Regional Leads and Coordinators through team meetings, working groups and collaborative projects to ensure smooth communication and delivery.

· Is the “go to” person for enquiries regarding activities within the region.

· Builds and maintains strong relationships with regional network partners.

· Develops new collaborations opportunities within the network and beyond it where strategically appropriate.  

Training & Facilitation: delivering training sessions (in-person and online) for diverse groups.

Project Coordination: supporting events, and multi-stakeholder projects across regions.

· Works with the Programme team to deliver the bi-annual Seed Gathering and Seed TV webinars.

They oversee key survivor engagement programmes, including the Ambassadors for Change advocacy and leadership programme, the Client Voices Forum, the Board Advisers, and the Alumni Network. This involves coordinating training, facilitating meetings, supporting campaigns, managing administrative processes, and ensuring survivors are prepared, empowered, and safe throughout their involvement.

The role also involves developing innovative ways for survivors to collaborate with staff, contributing to service design, organisational strategy, and sector-wide initiatives. The post holder builds relationships across the asylum and modern slavery sectors, manages lived experience opportunities, and may support client progression and education casework when needed.

Throughout all responsibilities, the Coordinator champions survivor leadership, promotes diversity and inclusion, maintains the ethos of the charity, and practices strong self-care while working with traumatic material.

Kentish Town Community Centre (KTCC) is looking for a Projects and Admin Coordinator for exciting new community project The Connection Centre here at KTCC. This is a very rewarding position working a wide variety of members of the community centre. This role will enable the We are looking for someone who is committed to providing an amazing standard of service for our the community. This includes spending time getting to know our members, committing to outreach and community engagement, recording feedback, facilitating sessions and importantly including that all sessions are engaging, interesting and meet the needs of local people. This is a one year fixed-term contract, subject to a three month probationary period. The post holder will be required to work 12 hours a week, Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the year with the possibility of adding in a Saturday morning. The post holder will be based at Kentish Town Community Centre, 17 Busby Place, NW5 2SP Rate of Pay- London Living Wage (currently £14.80 per hour).

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Communications Coordinator will play a key role in shaping Animal Equality UK’s public voice. They will ensure all outgoing content, both digital and print, aligns with our brand, values, and mission.

This role will lead on paid digital marketing and lead-generation activities to grow our supporter and donor base; oversee video production; manage website content; optimise organic and paid reach; support SEO strategy; and ensure consistent day-to-day engagement across our social media channels.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively across all UK departments, particularly Marketing and Campaigns, as well as with international colleagues, to maximise our impact for farmed animals.

In addition to monthly meet-ups, some travel within the UK may be required for demonstrations, meetings, and events. While not common, occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary to support campaigning activities. Any additional hours worked and agreed with your Manager can be reclaimed as TOIL.

Working closely with team members, the Campaigns Coordinator will design and deliver imaginative campaigns while working in alignment with the organisation’s wider mission: to end factory farming.
