The Role
The Social Value Specialist will support SNG to embed impact measurement and social value into teams across the organisation, providing a central, efficient point of contact that leads on developing systems, processes and continuous service improvement.
You will engage with supply chain partners to ensure the delivery of social value in contracts and enable seamless customer service using digital platforms and relationships with community partners.
Connect with team members across the organisation to deliver impact reports and support in creating our annual ESG report.
The Social Value Specialist will report to the Social Value Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan and implement a community investment evaluation and monitoring framework, in direct alignment with the community foundation strategy and strategy and the corporate plan
- Work collaboratively across the multi-disciplinary community investment directorate and with other internal teams in the customer directorate across localities to embed a framework for social impact and outcomes recording
- Support the Social Value Manager to provide regular social impact and environmental social, governance (ESG) reporting to the communities' leadership team and to senior management and board when required
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation methods and processes for Community Foundation projects and roll out good practice to colleagues and external partners so we can effectively demonstrate our Social Impact
- Lead and support internal teams and external partners in the upload of data such as KPIs onto impact measurement platform for the business, ensuring that information is accurate and easily accessible when required
- Demonstrate strong project management skills to lead and oversee project teams across SNG and with external partners that will bring in external funding
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, including funders, businesses, local authorities and national agencies as required by the Head of Service and managers
- Work closely with the communications team to enable a coordinated communications approach that raises the profile of SNG's work in communities
- Prepare and present written, financial and statistical reports to internal and external bodies as required and ensure funders requirements are met

What we need from you
A good understanding of HACT's Wellbeing Valuation and Social Value Insight would be an advantage, but this is not essential. It would be great if you have some knowledge or experience of working in communities, supply chains and or, monitoring and evaluation.

Main duties
Marketing & Engagement
- With a strong audience focus, develop appropriate marketing strategies to support the recruitment of students to Sutton Trust programmes with Programme Managers
- Develop creative content ideas and tactics to target key audiences including creating engaging copy and visual assets for marketing campaigns, including digital content (e.g. email campaigns, social media) and physical collateral (e.g. posters, brochures)
- Create engaging copy and visual assets for marketing campaigns and programme
- Support the capture of content at selected Sutton Trust events, including photography, video, and stakeholder feedback, to enhance marketing assets and engagement strategies
- Lead on the creation or commissioning of programme collateral and marketing assets

Person Specification
We welcome applications from individuals who have experience in:
- Experience in marketing and communications planning, ideally in the education or non-profit sectors

Terms of Appointment

Working Conditions
The primary locations for this role will be Cambridge Science Centre's Head Office at 44 Clifton Road, Cambridge, CB1 7ED (assigned desk or workspace) and the Cambridge Science Centre at Trinity Centre, Cambridge Science Park, CB4 0FN (hotdesking model).
In addition, there will be travel (primarily driving with a company or hire vehicle) to the semi-permanent centre (Inspire Wisbech Centre, Wisbech, PE13 1AR) and, on occasion a variety of locations across the East of England.

Since last year, we have been gradually launching our new Excellence Network regional clinical lead roles across England as part of our new regional model in England. We're now recruiting for the final regional clinical lead in England to lead their regional network in London.
In September 2024, the Parkinson’s UK Excellence Network (PEN) moved to a new regional model in England and introduced the 7 newly-formed PEN regions in England, with the boundaries aligned to the 7 NHS England regions. Click here to read more about the new model.
The regional model in the devolved nations remains the same: there are 3 regions in Scotland, 2 in Wales and 1 region in Northern Ireland.
Last year we began gradually recruiting the consultancy services of regional clinical leads in each of the 7 regions in England, to help us deliver this new model.
By the end of 2024, we were delighted to have appointed 4 regional clinical leads. We welcomed Antonella Macerollo and Sarah Fraser in the north west and north east and Yorkshire, respectively. You can find out more about Antonella and Sarah here.

We are now recruiting for the final regional clinical lead vacancy in England to lead their regional network in London.
Who can apply?
Any UK-based healthcare professional, working in Parkinson’s or with an interest and expertise in the condition, with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills is welcome to apply. Healthcare professionals living with Parkinson’s are also encouraged.
You’ll have a good understanding of the landscape of health and care delivery, education and workforce development to support the strategic aims and objectives of Parkinson’s UK.
Time commitment: 0.5 days per week (1 programmed activity) to be worked flexibly across the month.
Remuneration: monthly rate based on skills and experience.
Term of consultancy services: 3 years from date of appointment, with an option to extend for a further 3 years. You can then re-apply for the role if you wish.

About the Role
The Legal Officer will be an integral part of the UK Litigation team and will work closely with external legal teams to advance our cases and ensure coordination of legal actions in line with Reprieve’s strategic goals. They will be responsible for administration and maintenance of casefiles and key case management documents and assume certain day-to-day file management responsibilities. They will feed into case strategy discussions and will support the team by conducting and overseeing legal and factual research, drafting documents for litigation and advocacy purposes, and producing and maintaining core internal documents and records. Length and Salary
This is a full-time role, on a one-year fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend, subject to funding. The annual salary is £42,193 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.
This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work two days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Applicants must have the current right to work in the UK, which will be checked prior to interview.
Your presence is important during core office hours, whether remotely or in the office. Job Description
To provide advocacy support to a caseload of clients with complex mental health needs, including support around housing, finances, health, domestic abuse and other issues. CARA’s advocacy service focuses primarily on meeting the needs of some of our most complex clients – victims and survivors who would be unable to access other advocacy services. The role will also involve supporting the wider CARA team in signposting other clients to external advocacy agencies, as appropriate and attendance at CARA groups to provide a drop-in advocacy surgery.
Main Responsibilities
·To manage a caseload of complex clients seeking short and long-term advocacy support, including support around housing, finances, health, domestic abuse and other issues.

The role and your key responsibilities
As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area make the most out of the Unifrog platform. RNIB are recruiting for two Policy Managers (1 x International, 1 x Devolution) to lead within our policy team, ensuring we produce well-evidenced, impactful policy to drive real change to deliver better outcomes for blind and partially sighted people. Who we are:
Citizens Advice North East Lincolnshire (CANEL) was founded in 1939 providing
advice, information, guidance, advocacy and support to anyone who needs it in
North East Lincolnshire, which covers Cleethorpes, Grimsby and Immingham. We are an independent, self-funded charity, affiliated to the National Citizens Advice.
We advise on debt, welfare benefits, consumer, employment, housing/homelessness, immigration, legal issues, relationships and families, and any other issues our clients raise.
Debt and welfare issues account for 60% of the issues people raise.
Our work is local, working proactively and closely with other agencies within the borough, including the local authority, to share intelligence to improve people’s situation and take part in joint initiatives and projects with other local groups.
As part of the wider Citizens Advice Bureau’s national federation, we also share details of
issues affecting our community which are used to influence central government and
national campaigns.
The role:
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Chief Executive to lead the charity through the next exciting chapter by managing the delivery of our Strategic plan.
Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Immingham is a very challenging area, yet is dynamic with a high national profile, You would be expected to play a major significant role within local community groups enhancing the area.
Key Responsibilities:
With the Board of Trustees, review the strategic plan and be accountable for delivering the
strategic plan, financial probity and securing the funds required to deliver the services.
Provide relevant and timely intelligence to the Board to ensure it maintains an overview of the Organisation and can make appropriate strategy, policy, and financial decisions.
Lead the team to ensure the Organisation achieves its objectives and delivers high quality, accessible and fully integrated advice services within the aims and values, mindful always of the specific needs of vulnerable and excluded groups.
Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion in line with our values and ensure our clients' needs are at the heart of all we do.
Represent the charity to our various partners, stakeholders, funders, and the media, developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships.
Ensure that the charity fulfils all legal, statutory, regulatory, and quality responsibilities.
Key Experience & Knowledge:
• An understanding of the voluntary and community sector (VCS),
• An understanding of the complex nature of the current funding environment, With a track record of successful income generation, through fundraising, funding bids and marketing activities
• Substantial leadership and management experience at a senior level in a Charity
• Track record of delivering key targets and managing change.
• Experience of managing people and the work of multi-disciplinary teams .

We’re Recruiting – Fundraising Manager
From your UK home-base you’ll be flying the flag for the charity outside of Wales as a Fundraiser. You’ll put on quality fundraising events and build strong relationships through our reputation and Welsh links making a difference when it comes to people with cancer.
Picture being our Fundraising Manager and putting on fundraising events such as dinners and corporate sponsored events like golf or racing days. And, linking with London in Wales Week promoting networking opportunities with grant-givers, major donors, commercial, and corporate sources. Plus, you’ll help manage and set up our high value business network committees outside of Wales which we’ve already made a start on.
In this Fundraising job you can expect to be doing things like:
- Sales & Relationship Management – you’ll be looking after a portfolio of our new and established individual and corporate high net worth donors
- Business Growth Development – you’ll have five figure income targets to meet so will plan your client cultivation work to report and present how your delivery is going
- Collaborating – you’ll interact with our key internal stakeholders about your work and join a team of colleagues across the business where sharing and building on ideas and taking on feedback is welcomed
- Networking – you’ll promote ways our donors and prospective clients can engage with our work and navigate relationships to grow and build connections
- Event Management – you’ll plan, organise and deliver quality fundraising events with networking and income opportunities

The details
Working 28 hours per week flexibly you’ll need a UK work base. The salary is £29,600 (or £37,000 FTE)
Days and hours can be built in and around our standard operating week as set out in our staff benefits. We’re open to making the working week fit into your own lifestyle and the nature and needs of this type of Fundraising role. With a lot of autonomy in where you run events to meet your annual target there may need to be some travel to a city/location where you’re generating the income or some events you run may be in evenings or weekends.
Around going to work events for the role the rest of the job can be done from home anywhere in the UK. Our Cardiff City Centre Head Office is always available to you too. Most Team meetings and day to day colleague work is handled remotely but we’d expect to see you in the office for things such as our quarterly team meetings.
