Job description

Are you passionate about making a difference and engaging with supporters?

We are looking for a Fundraising Support Assistant (Supporter Stewardship Assistant) to join our Income Generation team in Northampton. In this role, you will provide administrative support to ensure an excellent experience for all our supporters, members, and donors.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Supporter Stewardship Assistant, you will:

  • Advise and guide new and existing supporters to maximise their fundraising potential.
  • Collaborate with Supporter Stewardship Officers to complete all aspects of the workload.
  • Establish rapport and understand supporters' needs.
  • Accurately record supporter information on the Raisers Edge database.
  • Order fundraising materials and packs for the team.
  • Adhere to Data Protection Act, HMRC, Audit regulations, and internal compliance procedures.
  • Play an active role in cross-team working and participate in working groups.
  • Work towards business and personal development objectives.
  • Undertake tasks relevant to the job purpose, reflecting the Association's mission and core values.

  • Ability to prioritise your workload effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Salary: £25,420 per annum

Hours: 37 per week

Location: Northampton office

Contract: Permanent

Hybrid Working and Flexibility: This role offers hybrid working, with the expectation to attend the office 2 days per week (during the initial training period, increased office attendance will be necessary). We are open to part-time applications or job shares - please indicate your preferred working arrangement in your application.
