Role Summary
The Training Coordinator is a member of the Into Film Learning Content Creation team; the team is responsible for the devising, commissioning and delivery of high quality film focused learning opportunities and resources for use in both formal and informal learning settings, including face-to-face and online via webinars and our on demand learning platform. The Training Team sits within this team, and is responsible for Into Film’s CPD (continuing professional development) across the UK.
The main function of the Training Coordinator is to plan, create, deliver and evaluate film-focused materials for our core areas of learning: teaching with film, careers and extracurricular filmmaking. Along with the rest of the team, they also act in an advisory capacity across the organisation on curriculum and pedagogical matters.
Main Responsibilities:
- Devise, create and deliver interesting and exciting training, resources and online interactive learning opportunities, for both educators and young people.
- Act in an advisory and supportive capacity to internal and external writers and practitioners who will also devise, create and deliver the learning content, ensuring a high level of quality assurance is maintained.
- Support the recruitment of project partners such as ITT (initial teacher training) and other notable educational organisations, managing relationships and ensuring scheduled milestones are adhered to.
- Project manage courses, sessions and other learning assets from idea generation to publication and evaluation.
- Create digital content for the learning platform, including gamified interactivity, video content, copy and downloadable assets.
- Evaluate and report on the training programme through creation and analysis of surveys, focus groups and other methods to identify and implement changes.
- Carry out both external and internal training to a range of staff and stakeholders, including supporting internal staff with education advice and information.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support, including responding to training enquiries and processing paperwork relating to the running of the programme.
- Copywriting, consultancy and research for industry journals, research papers and content for the Into Film audience.
General Responsibilities:

Person Specification:
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience of teaching in the UK.
- Experience of training teachers and/or other professionals.
- Experience of creating resources which include moving image/film.
- Experience of creating a range of training content for face-to-face and online courses.
- Knowledge of the education landscape across all four nations.
- Demonstrable creativity and commitment to producing engaging and exciting resources and training for teachers and young people.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to write accurately, lucidly and persuasively.
- Experience of chairing meetings.
- Experience of managing a range of projects, from initiation to completion, working with a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrable understanding of monitoring and evaluation.
- Commitment to film as a powerful tool for education, both as a cultural art form and as a means to engage and raise attainment in young people.
- Experience and knowledge of at least basic filmmaking.
- Commitment to Equality, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in all areas of work.
Desirable:
- Current knowledge of the Microsoft Office for PC, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience of creating or using on demand learning courses.

All Into Film staff work in a hybrid pattern, combining home working with attendance at their local and national office when required, along with some travel across the UK, as appropriate to the role.

Working across multiple channels, you will create engaging content including case studies, blogs, news stories, social media content and multimedia storytelling.Your work will help drive fundraising, increase awareness and build a lasting legacy of understanding and inclusion for autistic people.

This is a community-based role involving regular travel across the Newport, South Walesarea including local home visits, meetings, and direct support, with the flexibility to work from home based on business and community needs.
You will work closely with people living with dementia and those who care about them, providing support. You will listen carefully, understand what matters most to each person and offer guidance that helps them feel steadier and more confident as their situation changes.
We have an amazing opportunity to join us at the Alzheimer’s Society and be part of the Gwent Dementia Support Service as a Dementia Adviser in the Newport Hub. The Dementia Support Service provides personalised advice, guidance and support to people living with dementia and their carers. We have 5 Dementia Hubs across each of the five local authorities within Gwent (Hub locations: Abergavenny, Caerphilly, Newport, Cwmbran and Ebbw Vale). As a Dementia Adviser covering the Dementia Hubs, you will work closely with other Dementia Advisors, third sector agencies, as well as representatives from Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Local Authorities and other local organisations. you will play a key role in supporting the ongoing development and promotion of the hubs
The Dementia Hubs are located in community venues and offer open access for anyone looking for Information, Assistance or Advice about memory concerns and/or Dementia. This may be individuals, carers or family members, or professionals. The support/information required is unique to each individual, as it is based upon their personal circumstances and support needs.
As a Dementia Adviser within the Hubs, you will have the rewarding opportunity to support the development of the service offer based on feedback from partner agencies and those attending the hub. By providing this early intervention, we can help people seek support from the appropriate agency, understand their type of dementia, manage ongoing daily living needs, take control of their health and wellbeing and provide access to relevant local services. This could include referring on to one of our internal services. Our wider team of Dementia Adviser’s support people in their homes, being able to interact face to face, over the telephone and virtually, helping to give people the tools and knowledge to make informed decisions about their future.
We also provide peer support services to ensure people affected by dementia are able to meet others in a similar situation, access the support they need whilst enjoying meaningful and engaging activities. Are you a bold and courageous marketing leader passionate about using your strategic talents to help ensure everyone can know Jesus through the Bible?
Wycliffe Bible Translators exists so everyone can know Jesus through the Bible, yet one in five people worldwide still cannot access Scripture in a language they understand. We are accelerating rapidly, with active donors up 24% and new donors up 63% on last year. This enables us to support more Bible translators, transforming local communities. To expand this impact, we have set an ambitious goal to grow our donor base from 6,000 to 27,000 by 2032.We are making bold, long-term investments in top-of-funnel marketing today to make fundraising easier tomorrow.
In this new Director of Marketing role, you will lead us to invest significant resources with courage and conviction – spending money on top-of-funnel marketing today to make fundraising easier tomorrow. You will bring a campaign mindset, emotional excellence, and exquisite storytelling to move audiences to act. You will help us connect with new audiences in a deeply personal way to drive growth. - Salary: £70,000-75,000 + benefits
- Location: Home based or the option of a desk at our office in Oxford
- Terms of appointment: Full-time (37.5 hours per week). Permanent

- Accelerate donor acquisition to grow our donor base from 6,000 to 27,000 people by 2032, with a focus on regular giving
- Make Wycliffe an easier charity to support by making our cause visible, emotive and trusted in the spaces where our audiences are
- Bring a campaign mindset to Wycliffe, marrying deep audience insights with emotional excellence and exquisite storytelling to deliver disciplined, high-impact messaging at scale
- Lead and empower a talented team and collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver high performance
