The Head of Grants will take a leading role in shaping The Childhood Trust’s grant-making approach. This is both a strategic and practical role - the postholder will manage the full cycle for our existing grant-making (Big Give) campaign and oversee a small team. The Head of Public Fundraising is a new role at Coeliac UK leading the charity’s public fundraising function. The role focusses on driving sustainable growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, lottery, raffle, digital fundraising and merchandise. This role is responsible for delivering Coeliac UK’s 5-year fundraising strategy to maximise return-on-investment, grow long term supporter value, and contribute to the charity’s mission.

Who are we looking for?
Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of role across multiple income streams, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams and areas of fundraising delivery would be a huge benefit as the role leads community fundraising and events, will take on digital fundraising - currently led by the Chief Engagement Officer, as well as manage the data and supporter care functions, but experience in individual giving is essential as Coeliac UK has defined that as an area of priority income. Client Work
To provide one-to-one counselling for survivors of abuse of all genders, both online / by phone and face-to-face, with a caseload of approximately 4 clients.
To maintain confidential and accurate counselling notes of all sessions.
To attend monthly one-to-one clinical supervision with a supervisor approved by the Southmead Project. (Supervision is a requirement of this charity as members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
To attend monthly one-to-one line management meetings.
To work to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy ethical guidelines.
To work within the framework, spirit and ethos of the Southmead Project’s Equal Opportunities Policy, and actively engage in promoting the policy within the charity and in all dealings with clients and other agencies.

Experience
1. Substantial hands-on experience managing multi-donor grants across the full lifecycle, from start-up to close-out with a diverse donor community (governments/multilaterals, trusts and foundations, and private donors), including restricted awards.
2. Proven track record coordinating high-quality donor reports and ensuring contractual compliance across multiple awards and deadlines.
3. Demonstrable experience collaborating internally and leading applications, funding reports, financial reporting (budgets, forecasts, cost recovery, and expenditure monitoring).
4. Experience of preparing concept notes, proposals, and application forms for funding opportunities.
5. Experience with grant databases/CRM.
6. Stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with donors and supporting senior leaders with briefings and stewardship.
7. Experience in due diligence, risk management and audit-readiness for grants (e.g., procurement, safeguarding, sanctions/PEP checks, data protection).
8. Proven experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment to deliver a broad range of donor activities.

1. Outstanding organisation and time management, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain meticulous records.
2. Excellent written communication, able to synthesise complex information into clear, outcome-focused reports and proposals.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly organised individual in a supporting role to the People team. The role will assist with day-to-day operational tasks, providing managers and staff with effective administrative support in all aspects of Human Resources.
You will provide People generalist support for the full employee lifecycle, as well as support with the end-to-end recruitment cycle in line with The Churches Conservation Trust’s policies and procedures, best practice and legal requirements.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to work as part of a small team, whilst also independently and proactively completing tasks. Excellent communication and IT skills, accuracy and attention to detail are essential requirements.
