About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you’ll shape and deliver our individual giving strategy, overseeing the recruitment, retention and development of individual supporters. You’ll lead on our major appeals, including an annual national campaign to Catholic parishes across the UK.
You’ll also play a key role in developing new fundraising products, optimising donor journeys, and ensuring our CRM and data systems support excellent stewardship and insight-driven decision making. This is a senior position with significant scope to shape the programme and make your mark.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team and use your fundraising experience to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children and families. As Fundraising Manager, your role will focus on developing relationships and generating income from charitable trusts, statutory sources and individuals.
This is a diverse and rewarding role where you can work closely with our project teams and see the direct impact of your efforts. The fundraising team is also actively involved in service delivery. This role will be instrumental in helping to distribute gifts and food to hundreds of disadvantaged families at Christmas, as well as helping families in crisis by assessing Crisis Fund applications and approving grants.
As a proactive and creative fundraiser, you will also help to shape the department’s overall fundraising strategy and play an important role in ensuring that many more disadvantaged children and families can access the support they need and have hope of a better future.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with strong fundraising experience who is keen to use their skills to help CCS grow our income. A proactive and flexible approach is also a must! The successful candidate will have:
- At least three years’ experience or working as a charity fundraiser
- A proven track record of personally securing income in excess of £200,000 p.a.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues and supporters.

Hours

Programme Overview
Connect to Work is a UK government-funded initiative aimed at supporting individuals with disabilities, health conditions, or other complex challenges in finding and maintaining employment. The program offers tailored assistance, including one-to-one coaching, employer engagement and help with CV writing. Participants can receive up to 12 months of guidance if they are seeking employment, or up to 4 months if they are currently employed but at risk of losing their job. Support is delivered through local partnerships, and individuals can either self-refer or be referred by professionals and community partners.
We are recruiting for 2 seperate Employment Specialist roles, one for Berkshire and the other for Oxfordshire.The Employment Specialist will play a vital role in the success of the programme these areas. They will manage a caseload of up to 25 service users, delivering person centred support to create and follow an individualised workplan, engaging with employers directly to support people into good and sustainable work. They will be enthusiastic and passionate about helping people to find that role that works for them.
Location and Salary
The contracts covers Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Delivery is expected throughout a network of community venues and with specialist partners. Salary will be £27,976 - £29,000 depending on experience. Travel expenses over and above those to the agreed base location will be reimbursed.

Marketing:
- To continue to promote and build the Scots in London brand
- To maintain and update the Scots in London website as required, especially the events calendar
- To manage the social media feeds and strategy for Scots in London
- To act as a central liaison for all Scots in London member organisations and maintain and update the contacts database

- To provide reports and updates as requested for management meetings and forum meetings including financials
- To attend forum meeting and management meetings in person and via Zoom
- To act as minute taker for forum meetings and other working group parties as required
- To support the treasurer with the tracking of income and expenditure

Events:
- To assist with the planning and delivery of Scots in London events
- Support the member organisations in the scheduling of events across the forum and the cross-promotion of these events
- Maintain and update a centralised internal events calendar for the sharing of planned events To attend member events as decided by the management team up to 2 per month for which travel expenses will be paid. The postholder is welcome to attend all member events but expenses will not be paid for additional events not requested by the management team.

Strategic Development & Growth Lead

Autistic Parents UK (APUK) is a national Disabled People’s Organisation led by and for autistic parents. We are entering an exciting new phase of development and are looking for a Strategic Development & Growth Lead to help shape and strengthen our future.
This is a senior, strategic role within a small but ambitious charity. Working closely with our Board of Trustees and Services Lead, you will drive organisational growth, secure sustainable funding, and build partnerships that expand our reach and impact. You will play a key role in ensuring APUK continues to support autistic parents across the UK while remaining firmly rooted in autistic-led, neuro-affirming values.
About the Role
You will lead on developing and delivering APUK’s organisational strategy, identifying opportunities for sustainable growth, and strengthening systems and infrastructure. A key focus of the role will be developing and implementing income generation strategies, including securing grants, building partnerships, and exploring new funding opportunities such as training and commissioned services.
You will also oversee marketing and communications strategy, helping raise APUK’s profile and engagement with communities, partners, and stakeholders. Alongside this, you will support internal development, including governance, monitoring and evaluation systems, and supporting the charity’s expansion as it grows.
The role is subject to a basic DBS check.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong experience in strategic development, organisational growth, or income generation within the charity or not-for-profit sector. You will be a confident communicator with a proven track record of securing funding, building partnerships, and delivering strategic initiatives.
You will understand and be committed to Disabled People’s Organisation principles, neurodiversity, and the social model of disability.
You will be comfortable working collaboratively in a remote, values-led organisation and able to manage priorities strategically within a part-time role.
