About Working Well Trust
Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are recruiting a Community Outreach & Partnerships Officer to support the delivery of the Connect to Work programme across Kingston and Sutton. This is a full-time role (35 hours per week), working Monday to Friday, with core hours of 9.00am–4.30pm. Hybrid working is available, with a minimum of three days on site per week. Evening work may be required on occasion.
You will report to the Connect to Work Operations Manager and work closely with internal teams and local stakeholders to ensure the service is well integrated and reaches residents who will benefit most.
What you’ll be doing
If you were working with us, your days would be varied, outward-facing and rooted in partnership working. You would play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships across Kingston and Sutton, working with local organisations to ensure eligible residents are identified, engaged and referred into the Connect to Work programme.
You would proactively engage with a wide range of partners, including Local Authority teams, Jobcentre Plus, health services, VCSE organisations and community groups. This would involve attending forums and partnership meetings, delivering tailored information sessions and presentations, and promoting the Connect to Work service so that referral pathways are clear, effective and aligned with contractual targets.
A central part of the role is ensuring Connect to Work is well integrated with existing local provision. You would work alongside partner teams, including co-locating where appropriate, to support warm handovers into the service and improve participant journeys. You would also identify gaps in local provision and work with internal colleagues to develop solutions that improve access and outcomes for residents.
You would manage and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders, supported by the Operations Manager and Senior Integration and Partnership Manager. This includes maintaining regular
communication with partners, contributing to partnership action plans, and providing updates on progress, impact and service developments. You would work collaboratively with internal teams to maximise opportunities for skills development, vacancies and sustainable employment outcomes.
Alongside outreach activity, you would ensure all work is delivered in line with contract requirements, safeguarding protocols and data protection standards. You would maintain accurate records of partnership engagement and referrals, provide timely updates and reports to support service monitoring, and contribute to internal meetings, service reviews and audits. The role also includes attending supervision, appraisal, training and development activities, and acting as a positive ambassador for the organisation by embedding its values in all interactions.

Supporter care, stewardship and engagement
- Recruit, manage and support guests attending Back Up’s high-profile special events, delivering a seamless and memorable experience from invitation to follow-up.
- Work closely with the Partnerships Team to engage, steward and strengthen relationships with corporate partners and sponsors connected to special events.
- Recruit, develop and manage a dedicated team of volunteers, supporting them in line with Back Up’s volunteering policy and ensuring they feel confident, motivated and appreciated.

Harris Hill are delighted to be partnering with Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance to recruit for a Grants and Trusts Manager to drive income generation from charitable trusts, foundations, and grant-giving bodies.
This is an exciting new role for the organisation where you will take ownership of every aspect of the grants pipeline. You will play a pivotal role in researching, developing, and submitting compelling funding applications to maximise support for their life-saving work.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the charity’s grants tracking system, ensuring all applications, deadlines, reporting requirements, and outcomes are accurately recorded and up to date.
- Research, identify, and prioritise potential grant and trust funding opportunities aligned with the charity’s strategic objectives.
- Prepare and submit high-quality, persuasive funding applications and supporting documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective funders, providing timely updates and impact reports.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across fundraising, finance, and service delivery to gather information and evidence for applications.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on grant income and application success rates, providing internal updates on activity and performance to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all grant conditions, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
- Keep up to date with sector trends, funding opportunities, and best practice in grant fundraising.
- Contribute to the wider fundraising strategy and support the charity’s vision for growth.
To be successful, you will need or need to be:
- Proven experience in prospect research, writing, and securing grants within the charity or non-profit sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling cases for support and build relationships with funders.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Demonstrable experience of building, improving, or maintaining grant tracking systems or processes.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with experience in monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on funding outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Confident using digital tools and CRM systems to support grant management and reporting.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with a passion for the charity’s mission.
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (FTE)
Location: Wellington, Somerset with flexible hybrid working
Contract: Permanent, Full-time/Part-time (3 – 4 days per week)

About You
We’re looking for a proactive, adaptable individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills who is passionate about making a difference.
Experience in project management - covering scoping, design, delivery and evaluation - is essential, as is a sound understanding of budgets and financial processes. We value those who can write clear documentation for diverse audiences, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, and implement effective operational processes and training.
As our ideal candidate, you can demonstrate analytical thinking, creativity and attention to detail, working methodically and with precision even under pressure. You can manage conflicting priorities, adopt new skills quickly, and handle sensitive information discreetly in line with organisational procedures.
You are IT literate, comfortable working with Microsoft Office packages including Excel, PowerPoint and Planner, and have experience of using CRM databases such as Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.

The Multiple System Atrophy Trust (MSA Trust) is the UK and Eire’s leading national charity offering vital support to people affected by MSA – a terminal neurodegenerative disease.
About the Role
To lead on the Trust’s Policy and Communications work. To ensure our strategy and work in this area is led by the specific needs of people affected by MSA. This will require effective contact between the Trust and people affected by MSA, a range of health and care professionals; in order to develop their engagement in a professional and supportive way. To be an ambassador for change in wider society, working in the best interests of people affected by MSA. To develop and ensure effective external communications and dialogue with people affected by MSA and facilitate positive collaboration with other relevant agencies and policymakers. To co-ordinate marketing and clear messaging to key stakeholders.
To promote the development of this element of work within the MSA Trust, which may include future line management responsibility as the work develops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the CEO, internal teams, Services Committee, and other colleagues to set and deliver an integrated Policy and External Communications strategy for the MSA Trust.
- Be responsible for the development and delivery of an operational plan with targets and be accountable for the budget in this area.
- Lead on policy and campaigning work, ensuring priorities reflect the views of people with MSA.
- Be responsible for the Trust’s external communications and messaging.
- Be responsible for ensuring that the development and output of our communications and policy work are inclusive and reflect the diversity of our MSA community.
- Play a key role in the development and effectiveness of national and local voluntary networks that support shared ambitions for the neurology sector.
- Play a key role in the production of MSA News – the Trust’s flagship publication for members.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure our services are compliant with relevant policies, procedures and relevant legislative frameworks.
- Create positive relationships with MSA Trust colleagues, Trustees, and external networks to share knowledge, insight and evidence.
General Responsibilities
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of the role.
