We are looking for a confident, organised and compassionate individual be part of our IRIS service. The post holder will deliver domestic abuse training, work in partnership with health and other agency professionals and provide emotional and practical support, risk assessment and safety planning to standard and medium risk clients.

The Role:

IRIS is a specialist domestic violence and abuse (DVA) training, support and referral programme for general practices. The IRIS Advocate Educator provides in-house domestic abuse training and ongoing consultancy for general practice teams and is an advocate to whom patients can be referred for support. As an Advocate Educator, you will provide tailored practical and emotional support to clients referred by trained GP practices.

You will be part of a national network of IRIS Advocate Educators who deliver training to local GP practices to raise awareness of domestic abuse and improve early identification.

Essential experience:

The Sexual Violence Alliance is comprised of seven organisations (The four London Rape Crisis Centres, Galop, Survivors UK, and Respond) working together to provide comprehensive support to victim/survivors of sexual violence across London. The alliance model enables us to draw on each member’s expertise and provide all victims/survivors with the specific care that is tailored to their needs. Navigators sit within each organisation in The Alliance and work alongside one another to support survivors of sexual violence.

Navigators act as first point of contact for survivors of sexual violence and the professionals supporting them; providing holistic and non-judgemental information, advice and support.

This is a high-impact and strategically significant position, ensuring the development and enhancement of safeguarding frameworks.

Room to Heal is a human rights charity and therapeutic community based in London. We support people who have survived torture and organised violence to rebuild their lives in exile, through an integrated programme of therapeutic and casework assistance. The Director of Services (Infrastructure) will be responsible for leading on the Single Infrastructure Grant (SIG) and related areas of work, VAR's core services and key networks and consortia of Rotherham's Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience of leading at a senior level within a voluntary or public sector organisation;
• Demonstrable record of developing strong and effective stakeholder and partner relationships within a complex environment;
• Proven track record of building, leading and managing diverse teams across a number of business areas and specialisms;

We are looking for a full-time Shelter Coordinator to join our small and friendly team to lead the successful delivery of our shelter operations for the 2026-27 winter season. 

C4WS Homeless Project provides support to those experiencing homelessness throughout the year via a well-established winter night shelter in Camden, a lunchtime club, Jobs Club, hosting scheme, mentoring scheme and various other activities. We are passionate about helping people rebuild their lives after homelessness and working towards living independently. 
 
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for coordinating the practical and day-to-day running of our shelters, which will involve: 

• Ensuring each shelter has enough trained volunteers to safely operate
• Ensuring each shelter has all the practical equipment and resources needed 
• Liaising with and supporting church volunteer teams 
• Being the main staff presence at shelter shifts 
• Responsible for managing our weekly Wednesday Club drop in 

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with people who are experiencing homelessness or other similarly disadvantaged groups, an efficient and practical approach, warm and friendly nature, and a can-do attitude.
 
The successful applicant will be required to work flexibly whilst the shelter is operating. This includes some evenings (9:30pm finish), and some weekend shifts and bank holidays, as per a weekly-changing rota, and therefore is required to display considerable flexibility. Please only apply if you feel you can commit to this.
