The postholder will play a key role in advancing the communications, campaigns and public affairs work of Southall Black Sisters (SBS), strengthening the organisation’s public profile and amplifying its mission to end violence against women and girls (VAWG), particularly as it affects Black, minoritised and migrant women.
The role will support the development and delivery of strategic communications and campaigns that promote SBS’s services, policy priorities and advocacy work, with particular attention to immigration and no recourse to public funds (NRPF). Working collaboratively with SBS colleagues, project partners and, where appropriate, victim-survivors, the postholder will help ensure SBS’s communications are impactful, ethical and grounded in lived experience.
Through creative and strategic use of digital, media and public-facing platforms, the postholder will contribute to raising awareness, influencing public discourse and strengthening protections and rights for Black, minoritised and migrant victim-survivors.

As a respected and growing organisation, BPNA is looking for a highly motivated individual who can use their dedication, attention to detail and reliability to help us develop further. We are seeking to appoint a UK Short Course Co-ordinator to join our small team which is based across our Bolton and London offices. The British Paediatric Neurology Association (BPNA) is the professional organisation for doctors who specialise in the care of children with neurological disorders. The BPNA has developed a number of educational programmes for doctors in the UK and overseas both online and face-to-face. This role directly supports the education of healthcare professionals across the UK, impacting the care of children with neurological conditions.
ABOUT YOU
This role would suit an organised, efficient and practical person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good deal of common sense. You will also have diplomatic skills and the ability to build good relationships. You will need to be flexible, have an ability to problem-solve on-site, provide online zoom support, set up equipment such as computers and data projectors, and to organise highly educated people whilst remaining calm and maintaining a sense of humour. Surgery and anaesthesia have a fundamental and growing impact on global health outcomes. Surgical intervention could address over 30% of the global burden of disease, and yet the poorest 33% of people receive just 3.5% of all surgery. Post-operative mortality rates 1,000 times higher than in some high-income countries can be found in parts of the world where surgery and anaesthesia have been neglected, and in some countries as many as 90% of anaesthetic departments do not have the equipment to provide a safe anaesthetic for a child.
With 146 member societies made up of anaesthesiologists in over 150 countries, WFSA is uniquely placed to influence these inequalities and to help ensure universal access to safe surgery and safe anaesthesia.
The role
This sits within the Communications, Advocacy and Digital Learning Team and reports to the Digital Learning Manager. You will work closely with all members of our staff team (the Secretariat), as well as many of our committees and key stakeholders. Relationships with member societies and our WFSA Board and Council will also be important; an ability to interact across a range of stakeholders is essential. This is an entry level role which offers huge scope for development and learning across a broad remit.
The role is offered either on a hybrid working basis with access to WFSA’s central London office or fully remote. Note, the majority of working hours would need to overlap with those of the United Kingdom.

To provide administrative, operational and technical support across WFSA’s digital learning portfolio. Particular focus is given to online publications and the Anaesthesia Online Learning Community (AOLC), which encompasses our webinars, online courses and other educational resources.
You will handle day-to-day admin, user support, reporting and content updates, ensuring smooth delivery of our educational activities and freeing capacity for senior staff to lead strategic development.
You will be part of a small, supportive team working with global volunteers, committees and partner organisations, helping us deliver high-quality, accessible online learning at scale. Key tasks and responsibilities

Support the Digital Learning Manager in delivering the Anaesthesia Online Learning Community (AOLC) project action plan and coordinating with volunteer faculty when needed.

Provide administrative support for the e-learning platform, including uploading content, enrolling users, checking enrolment reports, and routine maintenance tasks.

Respond to routine user queries (e.g., certificates, access to recordings, account/password issues).

2. Webinar administration & delivery

Manage speaker admin: collecting bios and photos, sending consent forms and reminders, requesting Power Point slides, and gathering essential details.

About the role
This role provides tactical and targeted support to our District teams as we seek to enable our volunteers to deliver training to both cadets and volunteers in line with the Sea Cadets Learning Strategy. This post is responsible for supporting the delivery of the district training, including Royal Marine Cadet (RMC) training activity at Troop level. The work location can be flexible (home or office-based) requiring regular evening and weekend working supporting our volunteers by attending virtual meetings and delivering online training.
Responsibilities
- To provide functional support to our area Training Managers and District and RMC Troop Teams, ensure the district training plans are delivered, amended as necessary throughout the year, to the training plan and in line with identified training needed to best support the delivery of the Sea Cadet Experience.
- To support specific District Teams including the District Training Officer (DTO), District Recreational Officer/ Deputy District Officer (DRO/DDO), District Staff Officers (DSO), and RMC Troop Commanders (Trp Cdr) identified as requiring support under our change management process.
- To work closely with all District Officers to increase the number of certificated, current and competent instructors, and develop the capability and capacity of District Instructors to deliver training to cadets and volunteers across all Districts.
- To support the ATOs/DTOs/RMC Troops in all training matters (including uniformed and unit management teams) with a specific focus on Districts/Troops that need support.
- Support our Programmes and Virtual Training Manager with the co-ordination the of delivery of appropriate MSSC and other approved training packages (including BTEC, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award) appropriate to the age and experience of cadets across the organisation.
- Work under the leadership of our Assistant Director Sea Cadet Learning monitor performance against set targets set by the National Support Centre to ensure equitable access for cadets and adults to the Sea Cadet Experience.

About Sister System

Job Purpose
Sister System is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Programmes to lead the operational delivery and continuous improvement of our mentoring, learning, and development programmes for care-affected girls and young women aged 13–24. The postholder will oversee the full programme cycle — from referral and assessment through to delivery, evaluation, and progression — ensuring all work is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and aligned with Sister System’s mission and OCN accreditation standards. Acting as the central link between the leadership team and delivery staff, the Head of Programmes will manage and develop a high-performing team, maintain quality assurance across all programme stages, and foster strong partnerships with schools, local authorities, and community organisations to drive measurable impact and long-term systemic change.
This role holds operational oversight of all programme delivery, team management, and quality assurance, ensuring that our work achieves its intended outcomes, aligns with our organisational strategy, and continues to grow in impact and reach.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Leadership and Delivery

Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of all Sister System programmes, services, and activities in line with organisational aims and funder requirements.

Oversee programme planning, scheduling, and annual mapping to ensure smooth delivery and strategic alignment across all three stages (Enable, Enhance, Empower).

Work with the Safeguarding Lead to manage referral, assessment, and placement processes to ensure beneficiaries are appropriately matched to programmes and mentors, maintaining high standards of transparency and accountability throughout.

The Biochemical Society are seeking an Events and Training Assistant, on a 12-month fixed term contract, to support the Biochemical Society Events and Training team.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for delegate and general events related queries, ensuring that delegates have registered for events under the correct category, and received payment before the event. You will also set up events in the Events system and manage CPD accreditation applications for all events, collating event feedback and researching potential new sponsors for events.

The Training and Development Associate role involves the following indicative duties:

With the Deputy Director (Strategy and Development), launch More in Common UK’s training arm, ensure all training programmes are high-quality, impactful and - in the long-run - commercially self-sustaining.

Develop More in Common UK’s training programmes, creating a suite of training materials with advice and support from external partners and contractors where necessary.

Deliver directly, and support others to deliver, at least 20 in-house training programmes and 6 ‘open-access’ training programmes in 12 months.

The Training and Development Associate will work closely with the UK Team across our core areas of research, communications, partnership, and client work. We have initial funding to appoint a Training and Development Associate on a fixed-term (12-month) contract. However, subject to the success of the training programmes, their potential commercial viability and/or further funding, our hope would be to extend or make permanent the role.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your job responsibilities will include:
Apprentice Lifecycle Management
- Onboarding & Induction: Co-ordinate the smooth induction of all new apprentices, ensuring they receive necessary documentation, program details, and are integrated into their respective teams.
- Administration: Maintain and quality assure all apprentice records, training agreements, and learning plans, in accordance with the apprenticeship funding rules.
- Compliance: Monitor and track apprentice progress against milestones, funding requirements, and End-Point Assessment (EPA) readiness, ensuring all programs comply with DfE, Ofsted, and Awarding Body regulations.
- Off-the-Job Training: Monitor and track the accurate recording of Off-the-Job training hours for all apprentices.
Stakeholder Engagement & Support
- Apprentice Support: Act as the first point of contact for apprentices, offering guidance, support, and signposting to relevant resources regarding their well-being, training, and workplace issues.
- Liaison: Build and maintain effective working relationships with Employers, internal line managers, and mentors to ensure consistent program delivery and feedback.
- Meetings: Ensure that all progress review meetings are being held and attended to, ensuring that outcomes are documented and follow up on agreed actions.
