We are looking for an Assistant Procurement Officer to provide dedicated administrative and operational support to the Procurement Team on a fixed-term basis, with a primary focus on the onboarding of new academies into the Trust.
You will work closely with the Head of Procurement to support procurement due diligence, data collection, and the structured integration of new academies into the Trust’s procurement arrangements, policies, frameworks and systems. The role will also provide proportionate general procurement support during the contract period.

Coxley House is a supportive, recovery‑focused registered care home providing 24‑hour care for up to thirteen adults with mental health needs. With modern ensuite accommodation and a calm, welcoming environment, the service is designed to help residents feel safe, respected, and empowered. The team works closely with each person to create personalised care plans that reflect their individual goals, covering health management, medical appointments, coordination with professionals, and maintaining positive relationships with family, friends, and the wider community. We are recruiting an Education Programme Manager who will support the development and delivery of education materials and teacher training content at The Politics Project.
About The Politics Project
The Politics Project supports young people to use their voice by giving them access to brilliant democratic education. They work with young people, teachers, youth practitioners and politicians to help them learn about, teach and actively participate in democracy. The Politics Project works across the UK with over 3,000 schools and youth groups and 400 politicians, reaching 95% of UK parliamentary constituencies.
The Politics Project also leads the Democracy Classroom Network, a network of over 100 organisations across the democracy, education and youth sectors which support over 3,500 teachers and youth practitioners to engage young people in democracy.The Network's website is a one-stop shop resources bank of educational materials on politics and democracy.
About the role
Working with the Head of Education and Content, the Programme Manager will support teachers and practitioners to engage their students in elections and democratic education, helping schools and colleges get ready for the lowering of the voting age to 16.
The post holder will support the design and adaptation of resources, practitioner training, events and activities as well as manage relationships with the schools and colleges.
This is a fast-paced role in a friendly, supportive and growing team. The role has a six-month probation period. The hours of work are 37.5 hrs per week.
The Politics Project is based in London, and the post holder will be expected to work from the office at least one day a month. The role may require occasional UK travel and some evening/weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given.
Key responsibilities
Working with the Director and the Head of Education and Content, the post holder will:
Support the collation, sourcing and design of learning resources for school and college teachers to use to support their students to engage in elections and democracy.
Be responsible for relationships with several schools and colleges, building and deepening those relationships.
Deliver training for teachers and practitioners around elections and democratic education.
Coordinate and administer workshops, webinars, conferences, and online learning opportunities for educators.
Oversee evaluation and monitoring, producing reports where required.

About the role:
In recognition of the distinct challenges facing young women and girls (YWG), Advance has developed and delivers specialist provision for young women and girls on the Maia & Lift programme, in partnership with other specialist organisations.
Our team of Maia Mentor Advocates deliver consistent, holistic support to a small caseload of YWG, working to build relationships of trust, empower YWG to explore their identities, sense of safety, aspirations, and providing practical help and advocacy where needed. As a CJS Advocate for Maia, the postholder will work closely with the Maia Team to provide gender and age specific support to young women and girls at risk of gang involvement, exploitation or in contact with the criminal justice system, to safeguard YWG, capture and record outcomes and enhance the knowledge of other professionals working with this cohort.
About You:
To be successful as the Mentor Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
You will bring your experience and ability to work intensively with a selected cohort of YWG (aged 13-25), providing centre-based and outreach services and adopting a YWG-centred, strengths-based approach to deliver a range of support and interventions designed to: increase awareness and understanding of healthy relationships; reduce risk and increase feelings of safety; build self-confidence and confidence in professionals and support services; and empower YWG to assert their rights and make choices about future goals. Confidently and sensitively bring the ability to proactively assess risks and safety concerns, raising concerns with the Maia Service Manager, ensuring that, where possible, concerns are discussed openly with YWG, working within local safeguarding frameworks and taking appropriate action to safeguard YWG whilst working within a model of empowerment.
You will have a strong understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable YWG including issues related to violence against women and girls and/or the criminal justice system, and experience of community engagement, advocacy and support work with young people and experience of using motivational interviewing and coaching techniques, with the ability to demonstrate a YWG-centred approach to building trust and rapport.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Maths Hub Administrator to support the smooth and effective delivery of our Maths Hub programmes.
You will provide high quality administrative, organisational and communication support to Work Group Leads and the wider Maths Hub team, enabling projects, events and reporting requirements to be delivered efficiently and on time.
