ABOUT BRIGHTPIP

We want every baby in our community to grow up feeling safe, healthy and loved. We provide early therapeutic intervention to strengthen relationships and prevent cycles of intergenerational trauma. We are a small, friendly and growing charity, supported by a dedicated clinical team and Trustee Board.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a trainee Infant and Early Years Practitioner (IEYP), on a course run in partnership with the Anna Freud Centre and University College London (UCL). The post-holder will be training on the Children and Young People’s (CYP) Infant Mental Health (0-5) course, whilst carrying out clinical work in our service to complement their studies and use their newly developed skills.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a training role that is part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded CYP Psychological Trainings Therapy Programme (CYP-PT Therapy PGDip). This intensive training post will equip practitioners with a comprehensive skillset to provide interventions to families using the latest evidence-based approaches. Alongside the theoretical teaching of the training programme, the post-holder will have the opportunity to work within the BrightPIP service, providing practical interventions to families across Brighton & Hove. They will be integrated into our team of Clinical Psychologists and Psychotherapists and will take referrals as part of our service offer.
The successful post-holder will work in the BrightPIP service for 2.5 days per week and attend university for 2-3 days per week, with some study days spread throughout the year. During university holidays the trainee will continue to work with families.
FURTHER INFORMATION
This government-funded initiative promotes the growth and skill of the child mental health workforce to meet much needed demand. The role begins in January 2027 and the trainee will be both a fixed-term employee of BrightPIP and an enrolled student with UCL/Anna Freud. Upon completion, qualified trainees will receive a UCL Postgraduate Diploma.
Training will be a mixture of in person, online sessions and self-study. Applicants must be willing to travel to Anna Freud in Central London (Rodney St, N1 9JH) to attend their lectures as needed. This is a unique opportunity that allows you to apply your learning week-to-week into practical clinical interventions making a direct impact on the lives of children and their families.

Senior Grants Partnerships Manager
Salary: £45,200 – £50,500 per annum, including London weighting where applicable, dependent on experience
Location: Fully flexible, with occasional travel to our Salisbury or London office, plus national and international travel as required (up to 10–20% of working time)
Working pattern: 30–37.5 hours per week, with flexible and home working arrangements. Permanent contract.
Hope and Homes for Children is looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven fundraiser to lead high-value global partnerships and help millions of separated children get back to family. We have a compelling proposition; we're looking for someone with a compelling track record in generating trusts and foundations income.
About the role
As our Senior Grants Partnerships Manager, you'll own a portfolio of up to ten large trusts, foundations and institutional funders at six and seven figure level, deepening existing relationships while opening up new ones across North America, the Gulf States, East Asia, Northern Europe and the UK.
Working closely alongside our Programmes and Advocacy colleagues, and sitting within the Programmes team so you're close to the work itself, you'll research and win new donors, shape compelling proposals and steward the relationships that follow. You'll also lead on assigned institutional funding relationships, contribute to our income growth strategy and help position HHC as the partner of choice for those investing in child rights and social care reform globally.
It's a role with real ownership, and your contribution will go straight to what matters most: helping millions of separated children get back to family.
What you'll bring
You'll have a proven track record of securing five, six and seven figure grants from large foundations, trusts and institutional donors. You'll be able to write and develop high-quality proposals and manage complex budgets. Your relationship management skills will be exceptional, and you'll know how to convey HHC's mission compellingly to a wide range of senior audiences.
You'll be collaborative and culturally empathetic, comfortable working across teams, and equally at ease leading face-to-face cultivation as you are driving prospect research and pipeline development. Most importantly, you'll share our conviction that every child belongs in a family, and understand that every partnership you build and every proposal you win brings us closer to consigning orphanages to history.
About Hope and Homes for Children
Orphanages don't protect children, they harm them. The last thing an orphanage can provide is the first thing a child needs: someone to love them. Decades of evidence shows that the bond between a child and their family is vital for their development, and that orphanages subject children to high levels of abuse and neglect.
Today, over 5.4 million children are confined to orphanages worldwide, and more than 80% of them are not orphans at all. Children belong in families. They need protection, encouragement, play, laughter and love: somewhere to call home and someone to love them. You can help us make this a reality for children.
Additional information
This post requires the post holder to have, or be able to obtain, the right to work in the UK, and may be subject to a DBS check.
Closing date: 17:00 on Friday 11th September 2026.
There will be a two-stage interview process: first round interviews on 22nd or 23rd September, a written exercise on 24th or 25th September, and final interviews on 29th September.
Should you require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know and we will be happy to help.
Hope and Homes for Children actively encourages diversity, equity and inclusion, and looks to recruit a diverse range of people to reflect the communities in which we live, believing this will strengthen its ability to deliver its mission of eliminating orphanages.
You may have experience of the following: Trusts and Foundations Manager, Major Gifts Manager, Institutional Partnerships Manager, Philanthropy Manager, Senior Fundraising Manager, Grants and Trusts Manager, High Value Partnerships Manager, Corporate and Trusts Fundraiser, Foundation Relations Manager, International Development Fundraising Manager
