JOB FUNCTION: To lead the day-to-day delivery and development of the Foundation’s grant-making and charitable partnerships portfolio, acting as a key relationship owner for grantees and charity partners. The role will ensure high-quality stewardship, support, governance and impact reporting across existing grants, while also playing a key role in the design, development of new grant programmes aligned to the Foundation’s strategic priorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Grant-making & Portfolio Management

• Support the delivery and oversight of the Foundation’s grants portfolio, acting as a key point of contact for funded organisations and ensuring high-quality stewardship.
• Lead on the organisation of regular review meetings, check ins and programme visits where appropriate.
• Help to identify where Chelsea Foundation can support partners beyond funding by identifying opportunities for added value including visibility, in-kind support and shared learning.
• Manage all core elements of the grants lifecycle, from application, due diligence and grant agreements to monitoring and review processes.
• Ensure grants are delivered in line with agreed objectives and timelines, identifying and escalating risks where appropriate.
• Support the development and implementation of new grant programmes aligned with the Foundation’s strategic priorities.

Impact, Learning & Communications

• Work with Impact & Evaluation and Finance colleagues to support monitoring, evaluation and learning across the grants portfolio.
• Work with Communications colleagues to contribute to internal and external communications, helping to spotlight the work of grantees and share impact and learning from grant activity.
• Maintain accurate records across agreed systems.

Charitable Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with charity partners across priority themes and geographies.
• Confidently represent the Foundation in external meetings and partnership activity.
• Assess inbound partnership enquiries and advise on appropriate routes for engagement.
• Explore opportunities for new charitable partnerships to augment and support Foundation delivery programmes.
• Support partnership activity linked to Foundation campaigns and other cross Foundation and Club initiatives.

Wider Strategic Contribution

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Foundation’s grants and charitable partnerships strategy, bringing insight from partner relationships and  frontline delivery.
• Work collaboratively with other functions in the Grants and Charitable Partnerships department (e.g. volunteering) to ensure a joined-up approach.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Foundation (e.g. Programmes) and wider Club to ensure grant-making complements and strengthens wider activity.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Experience

• Significant experience in grant-making and/or charitable partnerships roles.
• Proven track record of managing external relationships independently, including with senior stakeholders.
• Experience of managing end-to-end funding processes, including assessment, monitoring and reporting.
• Experience working collaboratively across teams such as finance, communications and impact/evaluation.

About KLS’ Future Foundations education team 

Future Foundations is an education programme of Katherine Low Settlement. Since 2004, KLS’ Future Foundations education team of 10 part-time staff and over 100 volunteers, have supported young refugees and their families in Battersea and the London Borough of Wandsworth to thrive in their education. Through mentoring, family support, casework and homework clubs, we provide the tailored support each young person and their family (if they have one) needs to overcome the barriers to education they face at home and school.

•Support staff to liaise with families/carers to communicate information regarding our work

•Support staff to keep and maintain robust recording and monitoring systems

•Maintain, collect, edit and store documentation of our work including photos, case studies for Newsletters, funding reports and other records

•Support our senior case workers with weekly drop-in advice sessions at KLS, including completing forms with families, general admin tasks etc.  

•Support casework team with making and following up on internal and/or external referrals, signposting whenever relevant and according to adequate referral pathways and in response to the young people’s/family's needs – with support and guidance from staff

•Add information to our database – guided by team leads/managers - log all cases; monitor progress and ensure all identified actions are taken

We have an exciting new role at Bags of Taste!

We’re looking for an  enthusiastic and passionate Corporate and Community Fundraiser to play a key role in the growth of our corporate and community income and develop new partners. This brand new role will develop fundraising opportunities with businesses and  community groups, helping to broaden our supporter base and strengthen long-term relationships. 

This is an fantastic opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual who is keen to make a tangible difference. This is the first time we’ve recruited a corporate and community fundraiser and there is significant opportunity to raise funds as our organisation grows. The issues of health and well-being across the population and food insecurity are urgent and our work directly addresses these critical issues. 

You’ll be a key part of the growth of Bags of Taste’s fundraising activity and will be able to make this your own role. We’re initially recruiting this role as a one year contract however we expect this to become a permanent role as funding allows and we’ll review this with the post holder after six months.

Key responsibilities

Corporate Fundraising

● Develop and implement a plan to raise funds from companies (this could be nationwide or within local project areas) with the Head of Fundraising and Comms

● Research corporate fundraising opportunities and develop a pipeline of prospects

● Approach new businesses to financially support Bags of Taste through presentations, applications, pitches and proposals

● Devise partnership opportunities where required eg volunteering days/fundraising ideas

● Work across the organisation to develop leads via staff, Directors and volunteers

● Account manage all corporate supporters in order to develop strong long-term relationships

● Attend networking events to develop new leads.

Community Fundraising

● Develop and implement a plan to raise funds from community groups. This could include events, peer to peer fundraising or volunteer led activity

Being a Finance Manager at St Wilfrid's

We’re looking for a skilled and values‑driven Finance Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day financial operations of St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

You will manage financial reporting, budgeting, controls, payroll oversight and compliance for both the charity and trading company. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll ensure financial information is accurate, timely and meaningful.

You will also lead and develop a small, dedicated Finance team.

This is a time of transformation for us, with a new Finance Director joining and with plans to change our Finance system over the coming year.  As a result, we’re looking to appoint a fixed term Finance Manager for 12 months, with the possibility to extend or become permanent.

Mansfield College is seeking an exceptional fundraising professional to join its high-performing Development team, at an exciting moment in the College’s history. We are looking for an outstanding individual to lead the College’s annual (or ‘regular’) giving programme, and create and deliver engaging stewardship opportunities for donors at all levels.

Mansfield’s annual giving programme is central to the College’s ongoing success and generates vital and significant income for the College every year for every aspect of life and work within our academic community. The Development Manager is a senior role within the College’s Development & Alumni Relations team and has responsibility for executing an annual giving strategy that includes telephone campaigns; online giving days using compelling social media content to drive support; direct mail appeals; and encouraging membership of Mansfield’s 1886 Circle. This role is also responsible for ensuring engaging stewardship opportunities for donors to the College at all levels.

Ladywood Community Lead

Salary £27,583 per annum pro rata

Birmingham Settlement is seeking an enthusiastic and community-minded individual to join our Neighbourhood Network Scheme team as Community Lead. Working as part of the NNS team, you will be on the ground in Ladywood mapping local assets, building partnerships, identifying gaps in provision, and championing co-production and citizen voice. You will directly support Birmingham City Council's prevention-first approach to adult social care. Your focus will be on adults aged 18-49 living with long-term disabilities, ensuring they can access community-based support and lead happy, healthy and independent lives.

Alongside this, you will support local organisations through small grant applications and the wider capacity-building programme, whilst representing NNS across community events, steering groups and citywide forums, as detailed in the job description.
