The role
Head of Research and Engagement: This is a senior and varied role where you will lead and oversee our research grants, MS service mapping, supported research and Helpline. Working closely with the Director of Services, you will set priorities, manage key roles, develop stakeholder relationships and make sure our research and mapping findings are shared clearly, accurately and accessibly. You will help strengthen our engagement with the NHS, professional bodies and partners, ensuring our work is rooted in real experience and has practical impact for people with MS.

Summary job description
We are currently recruiting a Marine Spatial Data Analyst to provide technical stewardship of Blue Ventures' spatial data system, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality spatial data, dashboards and decision-support tools that support community-based fisheries management. This role will combine spatial data management, database administration, data visualisation and user engagement, while supporting marine spatial planning analyses and the development of user-centred decision-support tools.
Working closely with the Head of Spatial Ecology, Ecological Data Scientist and the wider Data Science team, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving Blue Ventures' spatial data infrastructure, ensuring it remains reliable, well-documented and responsive to programme needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spatial data management and analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for using data to support community-led conservation. Reporting to the Head of Spatial Ecology, this is a full-time remote role, with occasional international travel to work closely with colleagues, partners, field teams and communities.

Leadership

Lead the renewal of ministerial vocations across the Church of England at a national level to ensure the church has the lay and ordained leaders we need to fulfil our vocation to proclaim afresh the Gospel in every generation including this one.

Lead the development and operational excellence of the Shared Discernment and Candidates Panel processes, ensuring that the processes meet the evolving needs of the whole church. This will include personally leading panels on occasion and ensuring that high-quality training for people involved in discernment continues to develop and evolve over time.

- This post is subject to a genuine occupational requirement (GoR) that the post holder be a committed, communicant member of the Church of England under Part 1, Schedule 9 of The Equality Act (2010), as the post holder will lead on renewing ministerial vocations in the Church of England, including personal engagement in discernment processes, through prayer and appeals to theological and spiritual understandings of the Church and God's way of calling people to lay and ordained ministry.
- Further the post-holder will be engaged in consulting and giving advice to dioceses on vocations based on those same understandings and in the context of prayer, preaching and spiritual/theological advice.
- In light of the GoR above, the post holder will need to have a disciplined pattern of prayer and personal discipleship to sustain them in their ministry and to enable that ministry to be fruitful in the life of the church.

Purpose of the Role
The Head of Centre will provide strategic and operational leadership for Equal Education Academy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, inclusive, and trauma-informed online provision. Serving as the Academy’s Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), the postholder will embed safeguarding, inclusion, and wellbeing into all organisational decision-making.

Overall purpose of role
As WeProtect Global Alliance Fundraising and Grants Manager,you will:
- Lead the day-to-day management of a multi-donor grant portfolio (restricted and unrestricted) to ensure donor obligations are met in full and on time.
- Optimise and maintain grants management systems (calendars, trackers, templates, CRM, workflows) proportionate to a small organisation operating at global scale.
- Produce and co-ordinate high-quality donor reporting and contribute to renewal and proposal development, working closely with the Head of Development and collaborating with the Deputy Head of Operations and Finance, as well as colleagues in the Strategy and Members teams.

About the role
This is an influential, hands-on fundraising role within an international charity protecting cultural heritage and supporting artisan communities.
Reporting to the COO and working closely with the President, you will develop and deliver a multi-year philanthropy strategy, with a particular focus on generating major donor income in the United States. You will also steward relationships across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and other emerging markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing an established portfolio of major donors and prospects, typically giving between four and seven figures
- Personally securing major gifts through relationship building, tailored proposals and direct asks
- Supporting the President, COO and other senior leaders with high-value donor relationships
- Maintaining a strong major donor pipeline and delivering agreed income targets
- Mobilising Board members and ambassadors to strengthen networks and fundraising opportunities
- Leading and developing a small Development Team
- Setting clear objectives, priorities and performance measures
- Overseeing donor reporting, proposals, pitches and stewardship activity
- Improving CRM systems, data quality, forecasting and pipeline reporting
- Identifying and managing fundraising events and donor engagement opportunities
- Working across international teams to develop compelling donor communications
About you
You will be an accomplished philanthropy professional with strong knowledge of US giving and a proven record of managing major donor portfolios and generating significant income.
You will need:
- Substantial experience of US philanthropy, ideally within cultural heritage or a related field
- Evidence of personally securing major gifts
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Experience of donor reporting and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
- A structured, organised and highly collaborative approach
- The confidence to work closely with senior leaders, Board members and influential stakeholders
- The ability and willingness to travel frequently to London and the United States
- Fluent written and spoken English

Job Purpose:

The post holder is required to have:
- Fully qualified accountant with recognised qualification and full membership of: CIMA, ACCA ACA or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering business partnering with fundraising and program delivery functions within a complex and large organisation.
- Extensive financial management experience in a complex organisation, with demonstrable knowledge of developing and maintaining an array of finance systems and reports including management accounts.
- Track record of developing long term financial planning and annual budgets and forecasts with scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering internal financial reporting to senior management and budget holders in a complex organisation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively at leadership levels.
- Proven abilities in managing people, with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and enthuse others to achieve goals by setting and enforcing challenging standards.
- Experience of charity finance including restricted funds.
- Advanced excel skills to support the range of modelling requirements and advance analytical skill with ability to convert financial information to high quality visuals and narratives
- Postholder must have right to work in the country where they will be based.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial software and computer literacy.
