Fauna & Flora is seeking a highly competent Purchase Ledger Clerk to perform high quality purchase ledger transactional processing and to support the Financial Controller and the Finance team in the ongoing development and testing of systems and processes within the Finance function.
You will have experience of purchase ledger transactional processing, working with external payment providers and have excellent communication skills. You will be actively studying towards, or have a desire to study towards an accountancy qualification e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA. As a member of the UK-based Finance Team, your strong communication, interpersonal skills and customer focus will enable you to build effective working relationships at all levels across the organisation.

About the Role
You will coordinate and deliver a range of group sessions for survivors of domestic abuse, including Solace’s ARISE course (a healthy relationship course), peer support groups and wellbeing workshops.
You will also act as an external-facing ambassador for the Islington SASS team, working alongside other statutory and non-statutory agencies in the borough to help them identify appropriate referrals to the group.
About You
You will have a passion for working with survivors and a thorough understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on survivors and their children. You will haveexperience of providing emotional support and practical advice to individuals who have experienced domestic abuse.
You will have the skills and experience to carry out an initial assessment of needs, manage any conflicts that may occur within a group setting, and organise and deliver various group sessions.
You should have an awareness of the effects of domestic abuse on women and children, in-depth knowledge of safeguarding, and confidence in managing risk and conflict.
Additional Information
This role will be split between various sites, depending on whether groups are running online, in person or between cohorts. The postholder will work at our Head Office in Camden, our Islington office and any other group session location as required.
The salary for this post is £5,877 - £6,134 (pro-rata of £29,385 - £30,671) (Unqualified)) or £6,134 - £6,669 (pro-rata of £30,671 - £33,348) (Qualified)).
This is a part-time post at 7.5 hours (one day) per week and is a fixed term contract to 31st December 2027.

About the Role
In all services, Peripatetic workers provide non-judgmental, confidential, and psychologically informed support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Typical activity includes risk assessments, safety planning, and working with survivors to develop individual support plans. Other roles require house management, outreach and health and safety tasks.
Peripatetic workers will work in a variety of roles across Solace’s services, which offers our Peripatetic workers the ability to continually develop their knowledge, casework skills, advocacy skills, multi-agency working, and ability to manage and thrive in a changing environment.
About You
The Peripatetic Team is dynamic you will enter services at short notice to provide a continued high-quality level of support. Our colleagues bring a wide range of transferable skills and different experiences to the team that informs our practice and work with survivors.
You’ll be a passionate advocate who understands the importance of working in a psychologically informed way with both survivors and colleagues, and you will be willing to continuously learn and develop their skills. You have a good understanding of impact that violence against women and girls can have on women with intersecting identities. While prior experience of working with survivors of abuse is desirable, it is not an essential requirement.

Our Peripatetic workers are required to work across London and will move around these boroughs– Barnet, Bexley, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, Islington, Lambeth, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Westminster, Waltham Forest and may be on site full time or agile work.

PERSON SPECFICIATION
Who you are (qualities/values)
Proven ability to own a fast paced, dynamic pipeline from end-to-end (either a sales or recruitment pipeline, or other, transferable experience) and deliver a timely turnaround on actions and applicant follow-up, ideally within 48 hours.
You’ll be confident and comfortable working predominantly by phone, using calls as a key tool to build relationships, provide advice, overcome barriers and move applicants through the pipeline.
You’ll be comfortable and confident in working to ambitious individual and team targets as standard.
You’ll have a strong coaching capability, demonstrating confidence in handling complex career decisions, displaying a high level of emotional intelligence.
Proven ability to establish effective relationships with people from all backgrounds (including prospective applicants and other members of the team).
Excellent persuasive oral and written communication skills; the ability to effectively tailor messaging to individual applicants resulting in securing a tangible outcome.

What you will need to succeed in this role (experience/qualifications)
Experience in sales, recruitment, or another fast-paced environment requiring regular, day-to-day communication with candidates or customers.
A genuine interest in education and building relationships with applicants.
Strong team working skills; communicating with colleagues across the organisation.
Experience using CRM systems and ability to develop knowledge and proficiency of Now Teach’s relationship management system. Ideally confident in interpreting data from CRM systems to navigate towards outcomes.
Comfortable with a wide range of digital platforms, for example, Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office.
Strong working knowledge of the initial teacher training, early career, and education landscape would be advantageous.

Prospectus is thrilled to be partnering with our client in their search for a Policy Adviser to join their Education and Skills Policy team, supporting high-profile programmes focused on educational reform, mathematical and data education, education research and skills development. This is an opportunity to work on influential projects that bring together leading experts, policymakers, educators and researchers to improve outcomes for young people across the UK. This is a permanent role, 2-3 days a week in the office and paying £35,000 - £38,500.
Working closely with the Senior Policy Adviser, you will lead and coordinate policy projects from concept through to delivery. You'll help turn strategic recommendations into practical action, manage stakeholder relationships, lead research activity, develop policy briefings, and support the delivery of workshops, events and conferences.
You will bring demonstrable experience in policy, research, or a related field. You will be comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities. You’ll also have excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills, with strong written communication, project management and influencing capabilities.
While previous education policy experience would be advantageous, we are particularly interested in candidates with strong policy expertise and a genuine interest in improving education.
