What you'll do:

At LaunchPad, our 14-bed assessment hub in Newham, you’ll support people coming directly off the street who are navigating multiple disadvantage, including mental health, substance use and physical health needs. This is more than a place of safety, it’s a turning point. You’ll build trusted relationships, work intensively with a small caseload, and support people to stabilise, reconnect with services and take meaningful steps towards longer-term housing. You’ll carry out assessments, co-produce support plans and be alongside clients day to day as they work towards their goals.

You’ll work in partnership with services across the borough, advocate for your clients and help them navigate systems that can often feel out of reach. Job Title: Night Supervisor

Location: Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC). Unfortunately, this service does not have step free access.

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, 4 days on, 3 days of 22:00 to 10:00. This is a night shift role on a rolling rota, which includes weekends and bank holidays, meaning weekly hours may vary slightly. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service requirements, including some day working as required.

About the Role

We are looking for a Night Supervisor who is driven to provide high quality, effective and person centred support to staff, colleagues, residents. This role will support Service Managers to ensure high standards of service quality, performance, and improvement are delivered on the night rota by encouraging productivity and engagement of night staff. Our service runs to deliver high quality, trauma informed services to residents and staff. You will lead in ensuring the service runs smoothly, safely, and that night support staff are well supported. You will line manage frontline care and support staff, including night concierge services, within a service that specialises in supporting people who have experienced homelessness, substance use, mental health, and/or offending backgrounds. We work collaboratively with commissioners, partners, and communities to provide psychologically informed environments (PIE) that support recovery, reablement and sustainable independence. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support the delivery of high quality, trauma informed night services, ensuring services run smoothly, safely, and in line with organisational standards
• Experience in supporting  people who suffer from substance use, mental health, and/or offending backgrounds.
• Line manage and support frontline night staff, including night concierge services, fostering a supportive leadership culture focused on staff wellbeing, learning, and development.
• Work closely with Service Managers to maintain high standards of service quality, performance, and continuous improvement
• Encourage productivity, engagement, and wellbeing of night staff through regular check-ins, service visits, spot checks, and ongoing team meetings and training to support staff development.
• Provide high quality, person centred support to staff, residents including working effectively with people with multiple and complex needs and diverse communities.

About the Role

Our residents in this service have experienced long-term street homelessness and have faced significant challenges including with their mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency, and struggled to sustain engagement with support services. That's why they're here, to gain support for them make a change to enable greater independence and recovery.

In this role, as a Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents, working to ensure the safety and wellbeing. You will build trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins. Your role will focus on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals. 

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Create tailored support plans through one to one sessions, group sessions, and multi agency meetings.
• Support residents to achieve their desired goals/outcomes in various ways.
• Empower residents to make decisions to take control over their lives, by creating an enabling environment.
• Supporting residents to build independence and progress in their healing through engaging activities, from movie nights and arts and crafts to brunch club and fully funded day trips.
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing, carrying out regular welfare checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies.
• Work closely with the rest of the team to provide overall excellent service delivery, this may mean also supporting with their caseloads, and other tasks as necessary.
• Keep support plans updated on our online portals as appropriate.
• Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health, physical health, or other health implications and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent crisis or other risks.

165 King’s Cross Road is at the frontline of Camden’s response to rough sleeping. As a 16-bed short stay service, it’s more than accommodation – it’s a critical turning point. As a Resettlement Worker, you will make sure that time spent here leads somewhere meaningful.

You’ll work with people who are navigating multiple disadvantage – including mental and physical health challenges, substance use, and contact with the criminal justice system. Your role is to turn crisis into momentum. Through high-quality assessments, personalised move-on planning and creative problem-solving, you’ll support clients to secure safe, appropriate accommodation and take their next steps towards independence.

Resettlement is not just about finding a room. It’s about widening options, challenging barriers and advocating for people who may struggle to access housing on their own. You’ll build strong relationships with housing providers, the private rented sector and pathway services, navigating local connection rules and housing systems with confidence and persistence.

Your impact will be tangible. Every sustainable move-on frees up a bed for someone in crisis. Every successful tenancy reduces the risk of a return to rough sleeping. We work with those affected by homelessness and those vulnerably housed in Tower Hamlets, offering an integrated service of housing advice & support, access to substance use, physical & mental health services, as well as, training & progression programmes. The ideal candidate

• Holding a caseload of people who are sleeping rough where their substance and/or alcohol use
• Ability to conduct street outreach at sleepsites and known hotspots within the Borough
• To actively promote and work in a way which encourages harm reduction
• To work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure positive outcomes are achieved, safeguarding is shared and to increase the persons access to support services.
• Increase the total number of people accessing structured treatment & recovery through a bespoke pathway for rough sleepers as well as sustain treatment for these individuals, reduce harm, and support bespoke planned treatment exits or transitions into community-based services (continuity of care).
•  Reducing barriers of accessing Primary Healthcare services, such as GP registration, attending hospital appointments and specialist health services by advocating for and supporting clients.
• Attending and coordinating client related MDT’s and attendance at meetings relating to the rough sleeping community
• You will promote and deliver Naloxone training & distribution to those on your caseload 
• You have excellent communication skills and can create positive working relationships with a wide range of people, including external services.
• You will support the development of the service and ensure that you are delivering a solution-focussed and strength-based approach.

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Housing Support to lead our national Housing Support Services, ensuring clients receive exceptional, trauma‑informed care in safe, compliant and high‑quality homes. As Head of Housing Support, you will:

Lead & Inspire

• Provide strategic leadership for Housing Support Services across the UK.
• Manage and motivate Support Services Managers and Tenancy Sustainment Officers to deliver outstanding client‑focused support.

Lead with Purpose

• Champion safeguarding, ensuring training, oversight and adherence to all safeguarding policies.
• Produce reports and KPIs for the Board, Senior Leadership Team and Operational Leadership Team.
• Support the financial sustainability of the Housing department, including budget management and cost‑saving initiatives.

This role is critical to supporting a highly performing group of staff as we seek to transform lives through the prevention and treatment of blindness. This role will sit within the Business Support Team (BST), which is responsible for the day to day running of the organisation and will be the key point of contact for all administrative queries that encompass the broad range of services that BST provide, from HR, IT, and Finance through to Travel, Facilities and Health and Safety.

We are looking for someone who has excellent, demonstrable communication skills, both written and verbal, who can demonstrate through their current experience an ability to take on new roles with enthusiasm and with a thirst for new ideas. A high degree of IT proficiency is important as the organisation seeks to use technology, including Artificial Intelligence, to work more effectively for the achievement of growth in the organisation. Knowledge of the NGO sector is desirable, but we are open to applications from across disciplines and expertise if you can demonstrate your aptitude for the role with a hunger to learn.

The main responsibilities of this role are:

- To provide effective administrative support to the Finance and Operations team and the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the charity.

- To support each of the organisation’s functions to enable them to perform to their highest ability, through provision of office administration, assisting with IT support and being able to communicate important updates necessary for the benefit of individual team members.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

Our family women refuge's offer holistic support in order to empower women and their children who have experienced trauma to lead their recovery and gain the skills and confidence to move on safely. The Team Manager is responsible for the operational running and strategic direction of the refuge. Providing line management and leadership to the staff team, leading on contract and compliance and the safety, security and maintenance of the refuge, ensuring that the building aligns with our PIPE (Psychologically Informed Physical Environment) building standards and rental income is secured. 

The Team Manager plays a central role in ensuring the refuge is a safe, trauma-informed, and welcoming space for women and children fleeing domestic abuse. They promote an inclusive, anti-racist, and feminist approach while upholding Hestia's values of respect, dedication, and collaboration. Core responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day service delivery, ensuring compliance with safeguarding protocols, and facilitating the safe transition of service users. The manager ensures the team delivers high-quality, person-centred support, particularly for individuals with complex or intersectional needs.

In terms of operational and building management, the Team Manager is responsible for maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the refuge in line with health and safety and PIPE (Psychologically Informed Physical Environment) standards. This includes managing relationships with landlords and housing teams, authorising repairs, handling rent collection and arrears, and addressing any security concerns. They also oversee the accurate and timely turnaround of vacant units and uphold positive community relations to ensure the refuge remains a secure and respected environment.

The role also involves leading and developing a high-performing team, ensuring all staff are well-supported through supervision, reflective practice, and training opportunities. The manager upholds staffing levels, supports volunteers and students, and manages performance and conduct issues where necessary. Quality assurance and compliance duties include monitoring performance against KPIs, using systems like INFORM and Power BI, handling feedback and complaints, and ensuring financial accountability. They also represent Hestia in strategic planning, external networks, and multi-agency partnerships to strengthen service delivery and community integration.

What do I need to bring with me?

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. Here's what the team will be looking for

The ideal candidate should possess a solid general education, ideally with Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English, along with strong written and verbal communication skills. They should either hold a SafeLives Service Manager qualification or be willing to work towards it. Experience in supervising staff and delivering high-quality support to individuals with diverse needs and risks is essential, as is a strong understanding of risk assessment and management in domestic abuse contexts. A good grasp of performance monitoring, welfare benefits, housing legislation—particularly the rights of domestic abuse survivors under the Domestic Abuse Act 2021—is also required.

Applicants should demonstrate a strong background in working within domestic abuse services, whether in the community or in a refuge setting. They must understand and value co-production, ensuring services are developed in partnership with those who use them. Effective communication skills are key, along with confidence in using IT systems such as Microsoft Office, Teams, and Power BI. A clear understanding of safeguarding practices and health and safety legislation is crucial, with the ability to implement relevant policies effectively.

The role demands emotional resilience and the ability to work under pressure, especially in crisis situations involving traumatised or vulnerable women and children. A strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusive practices is essential, as is the ability to work independently within established policies and procedures. Flexibility and the ability to travel within the borough and beyond when required are also necessary for this position.

This is a culturally specific service, and as such, it is a genuine occupational requirement that applicants speak one or more South Asian languages in addition to English.

The Wellbeing and Lifeskills worker will support residents experiencing mental health pressures, to access cultural sensitive services and develop resilience, coping skills and improve overall wellbeing.

Specific Duties:

• Develop person centred multi-agency support plans. Work to a recovery based aspirations led model.
• Collect baseline information about clients current mental health needs, and record and monitor progress as they engage with the service.
• Provide assertive support to ensure effective engagement to achieve personal goals and aspirations for wellness and enjoyment of life.
• Act as a point of contact for other agencies working with the individual. Plan interventions flexibly to meet individual needs.
• Provide initial advocacy and support to access appropriate services and agencies
• Plan for reduced involvement as the service user gains sustained mental wellbeing and control. Plan for service exits, building in aftercare and rapid return if necessary.
• Support individuals to engage in meaningful activity and facilitate activities such as an LGBT group and healthy eating group. Develop other activities with guidance and input from service users.
• Regularly review barriers to progress, involving other agencies as necessary.
• Provide quarterly statistical information such as demographics and outcomes, for funders and internal use.
• Keep up to date on current treatment models, care philosophy and mental health legislation.
• Deal with general correspondence and enquiries relating to service users and the service. Keep up to date service user records.

About You

You will have experience of working with people experiencing mental ill health, experience of working with and managing risk therapeutically, experience of working in a partnership environment or with other agencies, experience of facilitating groups, setting group objectives and reviewing outcomes, and experience of using data bases to record client need, interventions and progress. You will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the needs of young migrants and refugees or other chronically excluded groups. You will have knowledge of the range of services available to people with mental health needs or other complex needs. You excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels abd the ability to plan and organise own workload

You will work a combination of office, client-home, community, and home-based working. Causeway is a 4-day week employer, so you will work 32 hours over 4 days a week. Causeway is a London living wage employer. You will receive a 6% pension contribution. This is a fixed term contract for 6-9 months to cover maternity leave.
