Role description
Malaria No More UK is looking to appoint a highly motivated Senior Advocacy Officer to join our team and help implement our advocacy strategies. Working with both our UK and global advocacy, you will cultivate a new generation of malaria champions and push malaria up the political agenda. This role will work on increasing our visibility and the resonance of our case with key stakeholders, including decision makers in the UK and around the world. Securing increased support will be vital to global efforts to accelerate progress towards ending malaria for good within a generation. We are looking for a confident communicator with strong project management skills and a good understanding of political advocacy.
Key responsibilities
- Providing project management support for a range of projects relating to our UK and global advocacy, including acting as project lead on agreed projects.
- Strategic stakeholder mapping, including building and maintaining relationships with UK parliamentarians and keeping contact records in our database updated on a regular basis.
- Lead the delivery of high-quality events for policy and political audiences, including at the UK party conferences, and international meetings.
- Daily monitoring of the global malaria landscape and UK parliamentary activities and keeping the team informed of relevant developments and engagement opportunities.
- Drafting of political briefings on key policy areas within malaria and global health.
- Providing administrative support relating to our UK and global advocacy, including the coordination of stakeholder mailings, updating our contact management system (Salesforce), scheduling and attending meetings, and taking minutes.
- Managing relationships with scientists working on malaria and providing them with advocacy insight through our UK Malaria Technical Expert Collective.

Essential

This is an exciting training role in Army Cadet Headquarters responsible for the governance of risk in the Army Cadets.
In this critical organisational safety role, you will both generate medical risk assessments and assure those generated by others. You will ensure appropriate medical governance and compliance processes are in place, including identifying organisational clinical risks and recommending appropriate policies. Purpose of the role:
As a Kinship Family Worker for Kinship Reach, you will deliver this online programme to families in your commissioned area. You will provide virtual one-to-one support to kinship carers and their families to help them become resilient and informed, with a strong support network to help them care for the children in their care.
Key responsibilities:
One-to-one support
Provide up to 6 one-to-one support sessions bespoke to the kinship carers and their families over a three-month intervention, working within the Kinship Reach delivery model. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Signposting or referring to relevant national and local services.

- Liaising with other professionals and organisations.
- Making referrals to other Kinship services such as Advice, Someone Like Me, Peer-to-Peer.

- Developing existing groups and setting up new groups as required.
- Working closely with Kinship’s peer-to-peer service where appropriate.
- Collaborating with kinship carers, the local authority, and community partners to set up virtual and in-person peer support groups.
- Planning, preparing, facilitating virtual and in-person peer support groups.
- Promoting groups in the area you are delivering in to kinship carers and organisations who work with them, including contributing to the creation of promotional materials.
Participation

- Ensure you are aware of and follow safeguarding policies and procedures risk of harm protocol.

Job purpose
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive, you will lead GHP’s external affairs and communications function across the full range of the organisation’s strategic priorities. This includes designing and executing GHP’s advocacy strategy for priority programmes — with the Every Mother, Everywhere MCH programme as the flagship — while also building GHP’s broader profile as the leading UK voice on NHS institutional partnerships, health workforce policy, and the mutual benefit case for UK investment in global health. Summary Purpose - what you will be achieving:
The Policy Directorate brings together the Academy’s policy, analysis and external affairs functions to address major science and health policy issues in the UK and internationally. The Directorate works as a single, coordinated team, focusing resources on priority areas, applying strategic approaches, generating high‑quality evidence and insights, and engaging effectively with government, stakeholders and partners to inform decision‑making and influence policy.
You will work in the Academy’s new Analysis Function, which ensures that policy development, external engagement, and rapid response work are consistently underpinned by high‑quality analytical insight. Reporting to the Head of Policy Analysis, you will lead activities in a team that spans qualitative and quantitative methods, evidence synthesis, horizon scanning, policy modelling and evaluation.

About the role - what you will be doing:
1. Provide expert advice and guidance in support of policy analysis
- Work with the Head of Policy Analysis to develop the Analysis Function’s strategy, operating model, standards, governance and ways of working.

About the role
We are looking for an exceptional individual fundraiser to join the Philanthropy team at King’s College London, leading on fundraising for The Dickson Poon School of Law.
This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major gift prospects, securing and stewarding significant philanthropic gifts at the £50k to £5 million gift level, supporting senior stakeholders with their fundraising efforts, and championing the work and priorities of King’s and the Dickson Poon School of Law.

We are delighted to be working with a leading national charity to recruit a Senior Philanthropy Manager (Trusts & Foundations). This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow a high-value trusts, foundations and statutory income portfolio, securing significant funding that directly supports impactful services.
You will take ownership of developing a robust pipeline of opportunities, securing six-figure gifts from trusts, foundations and statutory funders, and delivering an exceptional supporter experience through strong stewardship and relationship management. As a senior member of the philanthropy team, you will also contribute to strategy, line manage team members and work collaboratively across the organisation to maximise income and impact.
To be successful as the Senior Philanthropy Manager (Trusts & Foundations) you will need:
- Proven experience of securing significant income from trusts, foundations and/or statutory funders, with a strong track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling proposals and engage high-value stakeholders
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience managing pipelines, budgets and competing priorities
The charity is flexible with work location and open to applications from those who prefer to work from home as well as office and hybrid workers. Occasional travel, and some evening working, may be required to attend meetings, events and stakeholder engagements.
