The Pathways Youth Worker is responsible for supporting young people aged 16–19 who are not in education, employment, or training to move away from harm and progress towards positive, sustainable futures.
They build trusted, consistent relationships with young people facing complex barriers, providing tailored one-to-one support that promotes independence, resilience, and informed decision making. Where you’ll be working
St Mungo’s Bristol Accommodation Services are taking on an exciting expansion, including Toll House Court in Southville. Toll House Court is a historic building, with 20 supported housing bedspaces for people experiencing homelessness.
The service provides accommodation and housing related support to people who may have complex needs, including multiple challenges such as physical and mental health issues, substance use and a history of trauma. We are dedicated to providing a safe, high quality and inclusive service to people while they are living in the hostel, and a positive move-on into independent housing.
You will join a dynamic team of managers, day shift and night shift workers, taking part in the renewal of the service, helping us to provide a psychologically-informed environment and a supportive and secure place where our residents can make meaningful life changes.
What you’ll be doing as a Project Worker
Working hours
You will work full time on-site on a 7‑day rolling rota, including early shifts from 7:30am, late shifts until around 10pm, bank holidays, and two extended weekend shifts in every six. Some roles also offer a 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm–8am Monday to Friday, and for all weekend hours.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team working to tackle youth homelessness.
This role is funded by the Oak Foundation and forms part of Coram’s Voices in Action programme which combines CCLC’s legal work, Coram Voice’s advocacy support and Coram’s policy and participation work to champion young people’s rights and create change. It centres and amplifies the voices of young people through our young ambassadors with personal experience of homelessness or school exclusion. The young ambassadors campaign locally and nationally to change policy and practice and empower their peers with knowledge of their rights through workshop delivery and content creation.
Working with others across the group, the purpose of this specific role is to provide specialist housing law advice, preliminary casework and onward referrals to young people under the age of 25 experiencing housing related issues. This will include delivering regular outreach advice sessions in partnership with community organisations. The post holder will work with the Head of Community Care Law on project design, co-ordination, delivery and reporting. Supported by the Head of Community Care Law, they will be proactive in developing community partnerships and managing relationships with partner organisations.
The role will be integrated within the wider community care and public law team and will be supported by the Head of Community Care Law. Building on the existing expertise and practice within the team, there will be a particular focus on advising and supporting young people who are care experienced, should have benefited from care or are young migrants. The aim is to diagnose complex legal issues relating to housing and homelessness, to ensure young people understand their position and legal rights and are either supported to take steps to realise those rights, provided with preliminary casework to resolve issue at early stage, or where needed, referred on for complex casework and litigation either internally or externally.
The role would suit an experienced housing law advisor or caseworker. We welcome applications from solicitors and non-solicitors. The priority is experience delivering high quality housing law advice and casework sensitively to vulnerable clients with a track record of delivering against project targets and meticulous case management skills. We are looking for a committed, resourceful and determined housing law advisor with a positive and solutions focussed attitude who is able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. They will be well supported with access to training, supportive line management and will benefit from being part of a wider collaborative legal practice team. They will work closely with a paralegal and be responsible for helping to develop the paralegal’s knowledge and understanding of housing related law.
The role will be based in our offices and with regular advice delivery in outreach locations. The Refuge Service provide emergency accommodation to women and children fleeing domestic abuse and sexual violence. Refuge Support workers provide emotional and practical support this can include housing support, legal options, reporting to the police, help around child contact, benefits, financial advice and accessing therapeutic support services.
About the Role
As a Refuge Support Worker in our Enfield refuge, you will help create a safe, welcoming environment for women and families escaping abuse. You’ll handle phone enquiries, prepare rooms for new arrivals, support with deliveries, and help maintain clean, safe communal areas.
You’ll introduce new residents to Solace services, explain key policies, and ensure they are aware of internal and external support options. Working alongside each resident, you will develop support plans, assist with benefits and housing applications, accompany them to appointments when needed, and help them work towards safe, independent move‑on accommodation.
The role also includes collecting and recording payments, completing health and safety checks, maintaining accurate records, and building strong working relationships with local authorities and partner agencies.

Main Purpose Of The Job:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team in a dual-role capacity, supporting two vital services run in partnership with Homeless Oxfordshire and Connection Support. The role covers both our Step Down provision—designed for individuals discharged from hospital under the Discharge to Assess model—and our service at Mawle Court, which provides temporary accommodation and support for people with complex needs, including those preparing for more independent living or in need of emergency provision. Working as part of a small, dynamic, and enthusiastic team, you will be responsible for delivering a safe and supportive environment across both services. You will lead on the case management of clients with complex needs, working collaboratively with partner agencies to develop and implement holistic, individualised support and move-on plans.
