People need psychological interventions, social support, meaningful use of time, sense of purpose and a place of safety to sustain their recovery. At our core, we support people, families and communities to recover from drug and alcohol dependency. 
The role is for a therapeutic programme manager to join our Sheffield Family Residential Service on a 6-month fixed term contract until 1st June 2022, with the potential to be made into a permanent role.

Job Role

As the therapeutic programme manager, you will be supported by the residential manager to lead the team to deliver outcomes that help create long-term recovery. Using the Therapeutic Community “community as method” model you will empower individuals, families and communities to be confident about recovery. You will have the opportunity to evidence the effectiveness of our high-quality services to care managers and funders and ensure they comply with regulatory standards with the Care Quality Commission and Ofsted standards of care. The role offers the opportunity to make change, think creatively and influence decision making at the service.

You will be responsible of the direct line management of the therapeutic, care and night team within the service to ensure the best delivery of service and care to our families. You will also deputise for the residential manager in their absence.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm. 

As part of the role, you will participate in an on-call rota for the service.

About You

To join us a Therapeutic Programme Manager, you will need: 

  • An understanding of the complex issues presented by individuals and their child/ren within drug and alcohol recovery.

  • Experience of working with families, and individuals in the substance misuse sector or related field. 

  • Previous experience of supervision, management and leadership.

  • The ability to be innovative and flexible in order to meet the needs of the service. 

  • Be able to work effectively with multi-agencies, whilst maintaining the excellent reputation of the service.
