The Women & Families Resource Centre (WFRC) is a registered charity based in Wolverhampton, dedicated to supporting, empowering, and advocating for women and children. We help women facing crisis or challenging situations by encouraging independence and providing practical community support services.

Our flagship project, the Wolverhampton Baby Bank, supports families with children aged 0–3 by providing essential items such as nappies, clothing, bedding, toys, and other vital baby supplies.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Listing Associate (Volunteer) to support the Baby Bank operations onsite.

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately recording, organizing, and photographing donated items to ensure our inventory system is up to date, well-organised, and visually documented for efficient distribution.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structured work, has an eye for detail, and wants to contribute to a meaningful community service.

Key Responsibilities

• Record all approved donated items into the inventory system
• Categorize items by type, size, age range, and condition
• Take clear and consistent photographs of items for listing purposes
• Ensure all items are correctly labeled and stored in designated areas
• Update stock levels and item status in tracking sheets or inventory tools
• Coordinate with the sorting team to verify item condition before listing
• Maintain organised digital folders for item photographs
• Flag missing, damaged, or mismatched items to the Team Lead
• Follow all operational SOPs for data entry and documentation

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic experience in admin, inventory, data entry, or photography (preferred but not essential)

Make A Smile is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safeguarding Officer to help us ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children, families, and volunteers we support across the UK. About the Role

The Safeguarding Officer plays a central role in maintaining high safeguarding standards across all Make A Smile Chapters. You will work closely with the Recruitment Manager to deliver high‑quality safeguarding training to volunteers, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and feel confident when working with children.

You will also lead on maintaining and updating our safeguarding policies, liaising with relevant organisations to ensure they remain comprehensive, compliant, and aligned with current legislation. A key part of the role involves supporting local officers to ensure all volunteers have an up‑to‑date DBS check before attending events.

As the charity’s central point of safeguarding expertise, you will provide guidance on concerns, advise on escalation routes, and help embed a strong safeguarding culture throughout the organisation.

The Mulberry Centre is looking for opportunities to identify and apply for relevant grants, trust and foundations funding in a competitive market. Grant requests will be on average £500-£10,000 for specific services as well as core Centre costs. This Fundraising Volunteer (the role can be undertaken by one volunteer or split into two parts and shared) will work closely with the Fundraising and Engagement Team to help streamline the research and application process. The first part of the role is to research and check grants and trust funding lists and databases for current opportunities and deadlines for applications to determine which are relevant, where we meet the necessary criteria, and how quickly we need to apply. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) is a registered charity and one of the finest heritage railways in the world, running through 18 miles of stunning National Park landscape. We are on an exciting journey — preserving the past while building a sustainable, inclusive future — and we are looking for dedicated and talented individuals to join our Trust Board as Trustees.

About the Role

As a Trustee, you will provide strategic leadership, governance oversight, and support to help NYMR fulfil its charitable mission. This is a voluntary role, but one that carries real responsibility and tremendous reward. You will work alongside a committed team of fellow trustees, staff, and volunteers who share a deep love for our railway and the communities it serves.

As an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation, we are recognised for our cultural and creative significance at a national level.

Commitment

The national charity No Panic supports people with anxiety problems, such as panic attacks, OCD, agoraphobia, social phobia & health anxiety. Our main service is our helpline.

Ukrainian Institute London (UIL) is an independent charity dedicated to advancing public education in the United Kingdom by broadening knowledge and understanding of Ukraine. It champions Ukrainian culture and shapes the conversation about Ukraine in the UK and beyond, bringing together experts, creatives, policymakers, and active citizens to explore Ukrainian perspectives on global challenges. Through its programme of public events, projects, educational courses, and digital content, UIL works across the fields of arts, culture, language, and current affairs. The UIL highlights Ukraine’s expertise and experience to emphasise the urgency of international solidarity in support of democratic security in Europe and beyond.

UIL is seeking to appoint two new Trustees. As a Trustee, you will help shape the strategic direction of the organisation, ensure strong governance, safeguard UIL’s independence and integrity, and support its long-term sustainability. Trustees also act as ambassadors for the Institute, helping to build relationships, raise our profile, and support funding and partnership opportunities.

• Representation of the UIL at occasional meetings with partners or public-facing events.

Overall, the commitment is expected to average approximately 1-2 days per month ​​(which includes attendance at UIL events) and can easily fit in with other commitments.

The Choir with No Name runs choirs and builds joyful singing communities with people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation across the UK. Our vision is simple but powerful: that everyone going through tough times can find a place to sing their hearts out, among friends. We are now looking for passionate and skilled people to join our board of trustees and help us deliver on that vision.

As a trustee, you will be joining a committed and experienced board at an exciting moment in our charity's development. We are currently developing a new three-year strategy with ambitions to grow our reach, open new choirs, and deepen our impact with the people we serve.
