Role Overview

As a Talent Enablement professional at QuilomboUK, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of training programmes that enhance employee skills and organisational development. You will help prepare training materials, assist with training sessions, track attendance and progress, and maintain accurate training records. Working closely with the Talent Enablement Manager and Team Leader, you will also manage shared inbox enquiries, contribute to team coordination, and provide reports on training activities, helping promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

The Anglo-Danish Society is seeking a Treasurer with relevant qualifications and experience to take on the important role of managing all aspects of its finances, including compliance with the law and charitable regulations, in addition to accounting.

Our Treasurer will need to have relevant accounting/ financial qualifications and experience. Previous experience of being a Trustee would be a help. The ideal person will need to be able to work with an all-volunteer managing Council who care about the Society and its work, particularly the Scholarship Programme.

The Treasurer is responsible for transaction accounting, paying accounts, scholarship grants payment, sales invoicing, investments and deposits, membership subscriptions, event budgeting, preparing accounts for audit, giving a report to the Annual General Meeting, providing an annual report to the Charities Commission, making an annual Gift Aid claim and other related administration, as required.

Job description

We're looking for someone to manage our social media accounts for a minimum of 6 hours per week, during which you will schedule posts to engage our audiences. This is a creative role that will require you to create content based on our brand guidelines, using fresh impact (e.g. quotes, photos, videos) gathered by you or sent to you by our team on the ground, and you'll be able to pitch your own ideas for mini-campaigns and content.

We'd like you to spend some time looking at our audiences, using analytics to understand who our followers are, providing insightful analysis from the data available and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences. Ready to make a difference to a young person's life? Team Up is seeking dynamic volunteers to help transform the lives of disadvantaged pupils by improving their grades and building confidence in their learning.

We are recruiting inspirational role models who will tutor English or Maths once a week on one of our 10-12 week online programmes, starting in September 2026. 

You will be matched to a small group of care-experienced pupils who need extra support to reach their full academic potential. Equipped with full training and detailed lesson plans, you will provide them with the academic support, encouragment and inspiration they need to get back on track. Our tuition programmes aim to build not just academic strength, but confidence and positivity towards learning as well. 

All our volunteer tutors receive full training and support from a programme manager throughout the programme. . 

Practical Considerations:

• Our online programme runs on Tuesday afternoons from 17:00 till 18:00.
• The start date is mid-September (date TBC)
• Sessions are 60 minutes and take place via Teams. Tutors are expected to be online 15 minutes prior to their session. There is a 15-minute debrief with your progarmme manager after each session.
• This role requires you to undergo a free of charge enhanced DBS check, arranged by Team Up.

We are looking for:

Our volunteers love building a rapport with each pupil, seeing pupil growth, and personal confidence increase across the 12- week programme. By the end of the programme, you will see how the support you give has enabled a young person to not only improve their grades, but also build long term resilience. 

Alongside this meaningful experience, you will also be able to attend our online employability seminars, as well as receiving a personalised reference upon completion of the programme.

We are looking for a volunteer youth worker who will work closely with the WFRC Youth coordinators in the planning and delivery of high-quality youth activities which are fun, safe, social and educational.

Recovery Support Volunteers can be involved in various aspects of service delivery. It is a front line, client facing role and may involve a focus on one particular area, such as group work or Duty support, or, it may involve a combination of tasks and activities. • Support people engaged in support with Together to achieve their Recovery Plan goals
• Support the facilitation of structured and unstructured group work programmes, both virtually and face to face

• Be a first point of contact for individuals, professionals, or family members, taking referrals as appropriate

You'll be raising awareness, & improving understanding of sight loss through delivering RNIB’s Awareness to Action sessions in your local community. Through these engaging sessions, you'll inspire participants to make small changes to their behaviour that make a massive difference in the day-to-day lives of people with sight loss. As a Community Change Champion, this will involve:

• Talking directly with community leaders, businesses, & local groups about ways they can get involved & inviting them to join an Awareness to Action session.
• Delivering RNIB’s Awareness to Action sessions either in person or online, using our resources. You may do this on your own or with a team of other local volunteers, both sighted and with sight loss.
• Sharing RNIB’s information & initiatives so people know we’re here for them.
• If you have a personal link to sight loss, sharing your experience during the session to help give a tangible example of how local people can make a real difference.
• Telling us about any activities you have engaged in via a Microsoft form.

What will you gain from the role?
• First-hand experience in grassroots community engagement & charity outreach.
• The opportunity to develop communication & networking skills.
• Support to learn & or use presentation skills to deliver the Awareness to Action Session in person and virtually.
• If you have lived experience of sight loss, support to tell your story to make the most positive impact.
• Know that your efforts are improving the public’s understanding, perceptions & behaviour towards blind and partially sighted people.

We will provide:
• Induction to the role & organisation.
• Training and support to help you thrive in your role.
• A resource pack/toolkit to help deliver the message.
• Opportunities to connect with other RNIB volunteers across the UK.
• The chance to get involved in other activities that interest you & to apply for our internal-only job vacancies.
• Support from a volunteering manager.
