We need people who have a passion for helping others, care about their communities and want to make a difference, supporting them to become safe and more resilient by enabling our volunteers and staff to have the right equipment and resources to do the job. As an Operational Support Team Member, you’ll support St John Ambulance in deploying equipment to events and activities within your community, as well as support the maintaining of equipment to ensure networks are properly resourced.

Our fundraising events organisers have the exciting and varied role of helping plan and deliver local fundraising events to raise the vital funds needed to help cats. Main Responsibilities

• The legal assistant will be responsible for making sure all contracts, legislations and documents are treated within correct legal standards. They are to make sure that all activities are being performed in line with contracts and the law. 

• The Legal Assistant will work closely with the HR department in overlooking the volunteer forms, legislations and documents. They should also assist the different departments within the organisation(Marketing, Funding, HR, Finance) in upholding the legal requirements needed to run the tasks that they do. 

• Provide written reports as and when required. To undertake additional duties as required for the role.

MAIN TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Being an excellent timekeeper and an organised individual, your administration skills will be vital to support the smooth running of the local Management Team. By recording actions agreed at meetings, and supporting the Team Leader,

You will be provided with the Management Team Handbook, training/induction, policies and guidance specifically needed for this role, including access to support from a Read Easy UK Regional Adviser, via your Team Leader. You will also be invited to Read Easy UK’s regional and national forums which gives volunteers an opportunity for networking with those from other

What you will be doing 
● Arranging Team meetings with the Team Leader and distributing agendas
● Recording actions agreed at the team meeting and distributing notes on required actions
● Submitting Coach and Reader Finisher questions responses to REUK
● When required, supporting the Coordinator with printing and copying
● Supporting with general administration for your group
