Job description

Our local groups provide services and support to make a difference for local people affected by MS. Our Group Coordinators use their local knowledge and leadership skills to organise and oversee a local group.

Group Coordinator

We’re the MS Society – a community of people living with MS, scientists, campaigners, listeners, organisers, ambassadors and fundraisers. Our volunteers are a key part of achieving our goals and their support is vital. Join us.

About this opportunity
We are looking to recruit a Group Coordinator for the Solihull and District Group. Solihull & District MS Society Group is a very active local group delivering a wide range of social and exercise opportunities across the Solihull area, this includes Solihull, Knowle, Dorridge, Shirley amongst others.

As a Group Coordinator you will be acting as an ambassador for the group, developing annual plans, leading the group’s activities and recruiting and supporting group volunteers.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a large charity and develop your existing skills and learn new ones. We need you to get involved and help make positive changes to the lives of people affected by MS.

About you
You’ll have an interest in the MS Society and the work that we do, as well as the enthusiasm to represent both us and our values locally.
