You will be central to ensuring that vital research partnerships and collaborative projects deliver impact without delay. Hybrid Working and Flexibility: This role offers hybrid working, with the expectation to attend the office at least 1 day per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support for research partnerships and programmes.
• Maintain programme files, timelines, risk logs, and governance documents to ensure accuracy.
• Support the preparation of contracts, financial schedules, milestones, and governance paperwork.
• Monitor partner deliverables and follow up on outstanding documentation or information.
• Assist with preparing reports, summaries, and updates for internal teams.
• Support procurement processes, purchase orders, invoices, and budget monitoring.
• Help plan and deliver workshops, roundtables, and partner visits.
• Provide operational coordination for the Association’s biological and data resource (MND Collections), including enquiries, access requests, and governance documentation.

About You:

• Degree-level qualification in biomedical or related science.
• Experience of working in a research or academic environment.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, including project coordination.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with experience supporting events or collaborative activities.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across teams and organisations.
• Knowledge of grants, funding, or research partnerships activities.
• Ability to understand data or sample governance in biomedical research.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Mentoring Coordinator will contribute to upReach's mission, by helping to manage the day to day running of our professional mentoring programmes (Professional Mentoring and Ask an Expert). Professional Mentoring sees students on the upReach programme matched with a professional for a six month period, while Ask an Expert allows students to directly contact professionals for one-off conversations.

GRADUATE SCHEME SUMMARY

The Mentoring Coordinator role is part of upReach’s Future Charity Leaders Programme (FCLP). The FCLP provides you with a unique opportunity to:

• Work directly on the upReach mentoring programmes, supporting young people and professionals to form successful mentoring relationships (4 days per week), while also;

• Gaining exposure to various aspects of charity management through 6-month rotations (1 day per week).

• Receiving training in Leadership throughout, and have the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship in Leadership and Management after 18 months on the programme (in place of rotations). 

The FCLP is designed either for high-calibre graduates from any university, academic subject and background - or for those with experience in the corporate world who are looking for a career change and experience in the charity sector. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Mentoring Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that upReach’s mentoring programmes (Professional Mentoring/Ask an Expert) operate smoothly and effectively, and will report to the Volunteering Programme Manager. You will work alongside the Programmes and Partnerships teams to ensure that matches are successful, and that both mentors and mentees have a positive experience of mentoring at upReach.

1) Supporting the smooth running of mentoring programmes:

• Deliver day to day operational tasks, including making mentor and mentee matches and responding to professional/student queries received via the Mentoring inbox and the mentoring platform;

• Act as the primary point of contact for mentors/professional volunteers and students using the upReach mentoring platforms, and take action to resolve any issues raised;

• Proactively monitor the success of all mentoring relationships/interactions using mentoring platform data, identifying any concerns and taking action to resolve them;

• Develop and deliver training sessions and resources with the support of the Volunteering Programme Manager to ensure that mentors, professionals and mentees have a high-quality experience.

2) Supporting Partnerships and Programmes teams:

• Work with the Programmes team to encourage Associates to register for and participate in the mentoring programmes;

• Work in collaboration with the Programmes and Partnerships teams to help ensure that all mentoring outputs are delivered effectively and on time, and support them with reporting back to partners;

• Act as the point of contact for employer partners whose primary activity is mentoring, and provide updates on impact measurement for these partners.

3) Rotations in different areas of charity management  

• As part of the FCLP programme, work on rotational projects designed to give you a greater exposure and understanding of the different areas of charity management;

• You will have a six month rotation in each of the following areas during your first 18 months on the programme: (1) Fundraising, Partnerships and Comms, (2) Operations and Strategy (3) Project and Product Management;

• Each week you will work on projects related to your current rotation (7.5 hours per week). These projects will be agreed with your Rotation Manager, in line with the learning objectives for each rotation.

4) Leadership training and development

• Participate in training every six weeks on different soft skills within Leadership through an external training provider during your initial 18 months on the programme. This training will take place through a mixture of online and face to face sessions. Training sessions will include:

  • Communication

  • Understanding different working styles

  • Conflict Management

  • Emotional Intelligence

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate for Mentoring Coordinator should display these skills: 

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload, manage competing demands and deliver to tight deadlines;

• Good problem-solving skills;

• Self-motivation and an ability to work in a small team as well as independently;

• Ability to engage and communicate confidently with stakeholders, such as beneficiaries, upReach partners and all levels of employees across the organisation.

This brand-new role is all about turning ideas into action. As our Strategic Projects Coordinator, you’ll be the driving force behind the successful delivery of high-impact projects and campaigns led by our elected Sabbatical Officers. You’ll work closely with the Officer team to plan, manage, and evaluate projects that shape the student experience – from defining objectives and establishing clear timelines to coordinating resources and mitigating risks. PIN seeks a dynamic, mission-driven consultant to lead the implementation of the OWIS UK Growth Strategy — a four-month, grassroots plan to grow visibility, school engagement, and strategic partnerships across the UK. 
 
The consultant will translate the strategy into action, working closely with the PIN UK team to test, learn, and build the foundations for long-term programme growth. 

Key Responsibilities 

Build Relationships with Schools and Teachers 

• Gather qualitative insights from teachers about challenges and needs in addressing OWIS topics to ensure the OWIS content and approach (the OWIS “product”) is relevant and appropriate. 

• Recruit and support 5-8 pilot schools to trial OWIS content and provide feedback. 

• Engage teachers as champions and contributors to testimonials or case studies. 

Build Product and Partnerships 

• Establish strategic relationships with NGOs, academic partners and local authorities. 

• Coordinate development of a simple UK-facing digital platform or landing page for content access.

About PVRI

PVRI is a small charity with a global reach. Our aim is to reduce the global burden of Pulmonary Vascular Disease with a particular focus on Pulmonary Hypertension (PH).

PH is a life-threatening and life-limiting condition that affects millions worldwide, but despite that, it isn’t widely recognised or well-understood. To change that, we bring together a fantastic network of many hundreds of PH doctors, academics, patients, and industry partners to identify and address the key global challenges in PH. About the Advocacy & Engagement Lead (Global Health)

As Advocacy and Engagement Lead, you will be the bridge between our global professional network and local healthcare systems. You will scope areas of need, and work with key regional stakeholders to develop and implement plans for new PH services.

· Developing roadmaps and care guidelines for the development of PH services in underserved regions

· Working directly with local healthcare leaders and PVRI Workstream and Task Forces to understand and navigate local health systems, influence policy and identify resources

Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is recruiting for the position of ‘Digital Product Specialist’ on a permanent, full-time basis, to be based from its Waterloo Office, London. The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working model.

Job Purpose:

• Manage the digital assets of Islamic Relief UK, particularly the website, ensuring that it operates in an optimal manner.
• Manage the development, evolution and/or integration of digital assets, e.g. digital giving platforms and digital events management systems.
• Ensure all development projects have well considered user interfaces and provide an optimal user experience.
• Provide the Digital Marketing team support with technical SEO, email marketing, and tracking/reporting across key digital marketing platforms.

The successful candidate must have:

• Proven record of excellent people and interpersonal skills with strong communication skills at individual and group levels.
• Experience of managing web development projects
• Experience of working with internal clients and diverse teams
• Experience of delivering with a marketing budget and using resources effectively to successfully balance creative aspirations with limited financial and other resources
• An academic qualification at degree level or equivalent experience/qualification in a digital/developer related field
• A comprehensive knowledge of CMSs, preferably WordPress
• Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL and JavaScript and version controlling with Git
• Experienced in interpreting data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other analytic platforms
• In-depth understanding of UX and UI in the context of web design
• Knowledge and understanding of implementing technical SEO
• Commercially aware, with good understanding of budget management
• Ability to communicate technical information and requirements to non-technical management and internal stakeholders
• Experienced in working from wireframes and written design briefs to build mobile responsive solutions
• An aptitude for managing short-term projects effectively
• An understanding of marketing trends and the charity market

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a respected and growing organisation, BPNA is looking for a highly motivated individual who can use their dedication, attention to detail and reliability to help us develop further. We are seeking to appoint a UK Short Course Co-ordinator to join our small team which is based across our Bolton and London offices. This is a full-time, permanent post based in Bolton, working 37.5 hours a week (7.5 hours per day x 5 days per week). The Short Course Co-ordinator will provide customer care as well as logistical and technical support to both online and face-to-face UK short courses.

ABOUT BPNA

The British Paediatric Neurology Association (BPNA) is the professional organisation for doctors who specialise in the care of children with neurological disorders. The BPNA has developed a number of educational programmes for doctors in the UK and overseas both online and face-to-face. This role directly supports the education of healthcare professionals across the UK, impacting the care of children with neurological conditions.

ABOUT YOU

This role would suit an organised, efficient and practical person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good deal of common sense. You will also have diplomatic skills and the ability to build good relationships. You will need to be flexible, have an ability to problem-solve on-site, provide online zoom support, set up equipment such as computers and data projectors, and to organise highly educated people whilst remaining calm and maintaining a sense of humour. We are looking for someone to join our team who will contribute to maintaining and developing our customer focused ethos.

While this role is primarily based in Bolton, there will be some UK travel with overnight stays to support in-person courses. We offer time off in lieu or overtime paid for additional hours worked.

LOCATION

You should anticipate spending an increased amount of time in the office during your probationary period.

JOB PURPOSE

This role provides hands-on experience with technology support for virtual courses and event planning for in-person courses for health care professionals, equipping you with skills in both administrative and event coordination settings. All course planning and logistics are arranged from the BPNA offices.

The purpose of this role is to:

• Support the organisation and delivery of virtual short courses

• Support the organisation and delivery of face-to-face short courses

The National Gallery is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of the upcoming major capital projects at the National Gallery. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major capital project that will have a lasting impact on the Gallery’s future.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex capital projects and a strong understanding of heritage environments and design quality.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for up to 36 months. The role is primarily on-site (4–5 days per week), with some flexibility. Full attendance will be required during key project phases.
