Job description

Our Bereavement Support Team provides support for children from the age of 5, young people and adults who have experienced a bereavement. Consisting of paid counsellors, practitioners and student placement counsellors in training, the team provides one to one support to over 450 individuals across the Wyre Forest each year.

We are looking for an experienced Bereavement Support Team Leader/Manager will be responsible for supporting the team to deliver high quality support to our clients and in achieving our strategic aims.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Minimum Level 5 Diploma, or equivalent, in Counselling.
  • BACP or equivalent body accreditation.
  • Experience of supervising or managing others.
