We are currently recruiting for a F2F Fundraising Performance Coach's. The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of excellent fundraising results and fundraising compliance standards and specifically the delivery of performance improvements in our F2F fundraisers through coaching, training, and continuous development. The role will also involve direct fundraising where you will be expected to meet a personal target.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for coaching the performance of multiple teams in the region that will consist of lone workers, pairs of fundraisers to bigger teams as the income plan increases.
- Responsible for an individual fundraising target and set of KPI’s that include inspiring people to become long-term monthly donors, generating income through contactless one-off donations and acquiring newsletter prospecting sign ups in a range of locations including residential door-to-door, town and city centres, private venues, and events and more commonly on our private land, the canal and river Towpaths.
- Acting as a hands-on fundraiser who leads by example, delivering fundraising income through signing up Friends and generating contactless income whilst demonstrating the Canal & River Trust ‘s values and behaviours.
- Generating income and being present on-site to visit fundraising teams, fundraise with them, cover sickness absence, coach performance, provide training & development of fundraisers, reinforce our culture of health & safety, embed compliance standards.
- Provide phone coaching and in-person coaching of fundraisers to support meeting their targets and KPI’s and in individual cases working with fundraisers to improve their results from their current level of performance to the required standard by equipping them with the technical and psychological training to work to their very best.
- Identify training requirements and deliver on and off field training and coaching to grow income.

- Undertake mystery shopping, observations and internal quality control auditing of values, behaviour, and fundraising technique.
- Support and deputise for the Regional F2F Fundraising Manager by providing cover when they are on leave to support the regional strategy of inspiring new supporters and generating income through contactless giving to the F2F Fundraising programme. This includes taking responsibility for the regional fundraising targets and KPI’s.
- Working with our partner recruitment agency to arrange interviews, send out communications to candidates and sit on the interview panel with the aim of recruiting and onboarding new F2F fundraisers into the F2F programme.
- Support the delivery of performance incentives and setting up/editing teams on Evergiving and the rota.
- Provision of daily reports of observations and actions taken, areas of success, results for that day and areas of training and development identified.
- Process all sensitive and data protected information obtained by donors as confidential and in a safe and secure manner in line with the Trust’s GDPR and Security Procedures.
- Carrying out Daily Compliance training, Charity conversation, case for support and storytelling practice and Health and Safety training sessions as per directed by the Regional F2F Fundraising Manager.
- Manages feedback and complaints in a professional manner and follows the complaints process and communicates details to Regional F2F Fundraising Manager so it can be addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- Driver’s License is essential (requirement for Business insurance)
- Performance management and coaching qualifications are desirable.
- Training qualifications are desirable.
- Knowledge and experience of working within the CIOF, Fundraiser regulator code of practice.
- Significant experience of working in face-to-face fundraising industry.
- Track record of successful individual fundraising and Team leading, meeting performance targets and KPI’s.
- Experience of increasing income through performance coaching of fundraisers.
- Experience of interviewing and recruiting fundraisers.

Bank Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices. Within Learning Disability services, this will include providing physical, domestic, emotional and social care. Within Mental Health and Homelessness services they will enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package.

The Exempt Accommodation Support Service is a new project based at our main hub in Digbeth but providing outreach support across a number of locations in the city. We are looking for housing and substance misuse workers to provide flexible, person-centred support to people aged 18 years plus who are homeless, have a history of homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless. It will primarily be supporting people living in exempt accommodation who have support needs relating to addiction and who are in active treatment or contemplating treatment.
The aims of this service are to provide additional support to improve access and sustainment of suitable accommodation for people engaging in structured drug and alcohol treatment, to reduce the scale of unmet housing need for this group of clients and to build evidence of housing-related need and effective interventions. The service will provide a range of practical support around finances, health and wellbeing, access to volunteering or training opportunities and integration into local communities as well as supporting continued engagement with treatment and tenancy sustainment.
This post is for 35 hours per week fixed term for one year initially.

Provide a person centred service to individuals taking a psychologically informed approach to advice and support ensuring that clients are given choice and control about how their support is delivered.

Support the Team Lead and Service Manager to monitor the take up and impact of service and the client journey, including case studies and data capture.

About the position
The Just Energy Transition and Natural Resources programme is focused on advancing human rights in business, in support toa fast and fair transition to clean energy and zero carbon economies. We seek to promote human rights across the renewable energy and batteries value chain. We are focused on mining for transition minerals, the installation of renewable energy where the fast transition is increasingly endangered by companies’ poor human rights record and policies, the lack of investor due diligence, and the absence of adequate regulation. A just transition will be one that, at minimum, ensures respect for human rights, fair negotiations, and shared prosperity with workers and communities.
The successful candidate will help lead strategic research and analysis on the renewable energy value chain from a corporate accountability perspective. This will include generating new insights and propositions for a more just energy transition through the analysis of structural causes of corporate abuse in these supply chains. In particular, the researcher will help us deepen our efforts to embed human rights, and protect and amplify the voices of human rights defenders, as an essential part of the response to the climate crisis, and a core component of the global work towards a just transition. As the Resource Centre expands its advocacy on improving the human rights policies and practices of companies in the renewable energy value chain, the senior researcher will play a key role in supporting:
- Research on community engagement, community equity models and other forms of benefit-sharing – focusing in particular on (i) unpacking cases and recommendations for ‘meaningful engagement’ with communities in the context of transition minerals mining projects, (ii) examples of Indigenous co-ownership and ownership of renewable energy and mining projects;
- Regional teams in their work on local just transitions and evidence of corporate abuses in the context of the current boom of exploration, licensing of transition minerals mining projects;
- Advocacy towards and engagement with investors and their coalitions on our just energy transition messaging and core products - Transition Minerals Tracker, Renewable Energy Benchmark, and investor guidance;
- Development of policy recommendations on the just energy transition from a business & human rights perspective; and
- Representation of the programme in key civil society fora and coalitions.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
- Conduct and help manage in-depth research: design and help lead team in delivering high impact research and analyses that assess company abuses, policy, and practice in renewable energy and transition mineral mining sectors, particularly through the team’s core products including the Transition Mineral Tracker, Renewable Energy and Human Rights Benchmark, and resources and guidance for investors. Lead on research and writing of a briefing focused on examples and lessons learnt around engagement with communities in the mining sector. Play a leadership role in identifying opportunities and advancing the Resource Centre’s research beyond its current core products along the renewable energy value chain, including research on transition minerals and value chains, for the theme.
- Develop high quality written and digital materials: Curate and write compelling content for our website and outreach, including reports, blog posts, briefing notes and papers, and articles to be submitted to relevant media outlets.
- Conduct outreach with companies: take up allegations of abuse with company HQs to seek responses to allegations of human rights abuse, conduct follow-up outreach for remedy and build relationships to enhance human rights due diligence;
- Strategically engage with investors and their coalitions on the salient risks of the sector and coordinate workshops, roundtables, and knowledge sharing spaces, bringing together various stakeholders. Sustain and help build our active network of CSO partners and allies.

Essential skills and experience

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the growth of the only global domestic abuse technology programme of its kind. The successful Digital Programmes Manager will work closely with our global local markets and development teams to ensure the successful operationalisation of strategic and funded goals.
(This post is offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months from the start date, with possible extension beyond this dependent upon funding)

This is what the Digital Programmes Manager will do at Hope After Harm:
- Work in line with our values.
- Project manage yearly deliverables, providing clear project workplans and updates and overseeing the day to day work of the project co-ordinator.
- Manage relationships with global partners and stakeholders and coordinate the localisation of Bright Sky offerings to fit cultural and legal practice.
- Work as the central point of management with developers, key stakeholders and global partners to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and to expected quality standards.
- Streamline and update spreadsheets, diagrams, process maps and other project deliverables to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process to the clients.
- Attend and lead regular internal and external touch-points, including attendance at global steering committees and working groups.
- Track project performance and provide programme Director with regular progress reports to ensure the successful completion of long- and short-term goals.
- Operate daily within the domestic abuse field as a subject matter expert.
- Respect and value the diversity of the community and culture in which our products will be delivered, ensuring culturally competent leadership.
- Recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of clients ensuring the service is accessible to all.
- Respect and uphold the value and necessity of intersectionality within domestic abuse and sexual violence prevention and safeguarding, across all areas of work.
- Attend training as required to develop and maintain proficiency.
- Be available outside of normal working hours to take meetings with global markets (as required).
This is what you will bring as the Digital Programmes Manager at Hope After Harm:
- A thorough understanding of domestic abuse and gender-based violence through a trauma informed and intersectional lens.
- Professional experience that allows you to talk as an authority on the role technology plays in domestic abuse.
- Ability to work with partners from various cultures and backgrounds, using your experience to guide the project, whilst uplifting the voices and knowledge of the most pertinent stakeholders.
- Substantial experiencing operationalising strategic plans across local teams.
- Proven experience as a project manager, working to funded KPI’s across complex projects.
- Experience leading project teams and seeing projects through to completion, within scheduled deadlines.
- Experience of collaborating with various stakeholders and maintaining positive working relationships.
- Can motivate individuals and agencies to move through courses of action and decision-making processes.
- Has excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal.
- Is a solution focussed project manager.
- Plans and prioritises work effectively, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills, with an attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Has the ability to gauge success through gathering data and providing detailed progress reports.
- Can proactively mitigate project risks, following protocols in escalation and role-specific duties.
- Experienced with remote working and communicating through and using digital technology.
- Act with integrity, patience and respect when working with all clients, agencies and individuals.
- An empathetic and kind human who is committed to intersectionality, equal opportunities and diversity in policy and practice.
- Experience working cross-culturally is a considerable asset.

Bright Sky is an app and webpage that supports anyone concerned about domestic abuse. As the only global app of its kind, it is leading the way in technological responses to domestic abuse
For this role you will need:
- To be free from any criminal conviction which would conflict with the responsibilities of the post; you may be required to have a DBS Enhanced disclosure.
- To be able to deal with all information on a confidential basis and understand data protection requirements.
- To have Citizenship of the UK or have entitlement to work in the UK
