Lead the creation and delivery of powerful, action‑based men’s wellbeing programmes across the UK

MINDSET is building a new kind of men’s wellbeing charity — one that speaks the language men actually respond to: action, challenge, humour, and real‑world connection. Our programmes help men grow, open up, and strengthen their mental wellbeing through shared experiences, movement, and practical personal development.

We’re now looking for a founding volunteer to lead the development and delivery of our core programmes, including our pilot 12‑week Self‑Improvement Programme, our Life Coaching Programme, and future initiatives that support men’s mental wellbeing and personal growth nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Programme Design & Development

• Shape the structure, content, and delivery of our 12‑week Self‑Improvement Programme

• Develop our Life Coaching Programme and future wellbeing initiatives

• Ensure all programmes reflect our action‑based, stigma‑free approach

• Build frameworks, session plans, and participant journeys

2. Oversee Programme Delivery

• Facilitate or coordinate the facilitation of sessions

• Ensure sessions are safe, engaging, and aligned with our ethos

• Monitor participant progress and gather feedback

• Adapt and improve programmes based on real‑world learning

3. Build and Support the Programme Team

• Recruit, train, and support volunteer facilitators and coaches

• Create a culture of confidence, compassion, and reliability

• Ensure volunteers feel equipped, valued, and inspired

4. Maintain Quality, Safety, and Impact

• Ensure safeguarding and best practice are embedded in all programmes

• Track outcomes, engagement, and participant wellbeing

Our Independent Visitor Service is looking for volunteers in or near to Stourbridge.

For many children and young people living in foster care can be unsettling. You can make a difference by volunteering as an Independent Visitor. 

We are looking for fun, reliable, and pro-active volunteers from all different cultures, backgrounds and experiences who have a genuine interest in making a difference to the lives of children and young people. 

You will decide with your young person what to do, but activities could include going to the cinema, bowling, playing football, going to a restaurant, riding a bike, or walking in a park. We will match you with a child you share common interests with. 

You do not need experience of working with children and young people, just an interest in their development and welfare. Full training and support are provided 

Here’s a few of the young people we have waiting for a volunteer: 

• Amy (12) lives with an older carer, she would like an active Independent Visitor who can do sports with her. 

• Brad (13) lives in residential care with other young people, he doesn’t have anyone in his family visit. He would like an Independent Visitor to take him out and have fun, like the other young people. 

• Cassie (16) lives with carers in a new town, she doesn’t have any friends in the area yet. She would like an Independent Visitor to help with her confidence and going out in the local area, she loves hot chocolate and cake. 

• Danny (11) lives with foster carers and attends a special school. He would like an Independent Visitor to help him be more independent, he likes parks, aeroplanes, and animals. 

• Emma (9) lives with her carer in a very busy household, she would like an Independent Visitor to spend some time with her on her own trying different activities together.

• Volunteering mainly happens at weekends and after school hours as the young people are usually in school during the daytime 

• The role requires commitment of at least 24 months with one visit per month; this ensures stability for the Child or Young Person

A bit about this role

As a charity we can continue to help cats and kittens in need thanks to the donations we receive at fundraising events from generous members of the public. Our fundraising event helpers have the exciting and varied role of helping at local fundraising events - such as cakes sales, barn dances, quiz nights – and everything in between!
 

You can expect us to

What we need from you

You'll be

• help set up and/or man stalls at events
• help on collection days like supermarket collections events or street collections
• help at fundraising events such as quiz nights, cake sales and dances
• promoting a professional image of Cats Protection at events

A bit more information about this role and the team

This volunteer opportunity is perfect for anyone who enjoys being part of local community events and wants to make a meaningful difference for cats across the South West. As a fundraising events helper, you will support a range of enjoyable activities such as craft fairs, coffee mornings, quiz nights, county shows and supermarket collections. Your support at these events helps raise the vital funds needed to care for cats and kittens in need.

Every event you take part in truly makes a difference. Even small amounts go a long way. Just £5 can feed a cat in our care for 25 days, helping us provide the food, warmth and comfort they rely on.

You do not need previous experience. All you need is a friendly attitude, a willingness to get involved and an interest in helping cats. Whether you prefer setting up stalls, chatting to members of the public or supporting activities throughout the day, there is a place for you on the team. Any time you can give will help us continue our work and support cats who need it most.

This role is very flexible. You can choose to volunteer at a single event for a couple of hours or join multiple events throughout the year. We will keep you updated with upcoming opportunities so you can choose what suits you best.

Wherever you are based in the South West, you will have full support from your fellow volunteers and the Fundraising Hub team. They are always available to offer guidance, resources and encouragement.

We will support you every step of the way.

Time expectation

This role is really flexible! You could choose to volunteer at one event for a couple of hours or attend multiple fundraising events.

We’ll keep you up to date with upcoming local events where volunteers are needed. You’ll then be able to choose which events you’d like to volunteer at and how many hours you’d like to give. Position Overview:
The Programme Specialist is critical in supporting the delivery of a high-impact employability and skills development programme. Working under the guidance of the Programme Lead, this position focuses on coordinating projects, managing participant engagement, and ensuring the smooth execution of training initiatives, mentorship activities, and job placement efforts. The Programme Specialist directly empowers individuals to achieve workforce readiness and sustainable employment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Coordination:

   • Assist in managing day-to-day activities of the programme, including onboarding, skills assessments, and skills development of participants.

   • Track progress against programme milestones (e.g., participant enrollment and completion rates) and flag delays to the Programme Lead.

2. Participant Support:

   • Serve as a primary point of contact for participants, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on programme resources, training modules, and job search tools.

   • Maintain accurate participant records, including attendance, skill assessments, and post-program outcomes.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:

   • Support the Programme Lead in building relationships with internal stakeholders.

4. Data Management & Reporting:

   • Collect and analyse data on participant progress, employment outcomes, and programme effectiveness using CRM systems or databases.

   • Prepare regular reports for the Programme Lead to inform decision-making and demonstrate impact to funders/stakeholders.

5. Logistics & Compliance:

   • Manage programme materials, including training resources, digital platforms, and participant handbooks.

   • Ensure compliance with programme guidelines, confidentiality policies, and grant reporting requirements.

1. Continuous Improvement:

   • Gather feedback from participants and partners to identify opportunities to enhance programme delivery.

   • Support the implementation of new tools or processes to improve efficiency and participant satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • 1–3 years in programme coordination, workforce development, adult education, or a similar role.

  • Experience working with diverse populations, including youth, underserved communities, or career changers.

• Skills:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Google products (Forms, Sheets, Docs, Slides) and familiarity with CRM tools.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging participants and stakeholders.

  • Basic data analysis and reporting capabilities.

We’ve designed our volunteering programme to be flexible and adaptive to you.  All volunteering is 100% remote and you’re supported fully by our team.  You control what you do and how many hours per week you want to volunteer.  Some roles may require an Enhanced DBS check. If your application is successful, we will ask for a donation towards the cost of your enhanced DBS check if it's required for your role. This cost is £22.60.

Training

We provide accredited training with 3 short courses needing to be completed prior starting your volunteer role.  After, you’ll have access to over 90 accredited courses should you want to study further.

The Lyonic Scots Clan is seeking a passionate volunteer to serve as Council Secretary of Culture & Heritage on the Lyon’s Council. This role supports our Clan Chief, The Prince of Scots, ‘The Lyon’, in preserving, promoting, and revitalising our cultural identity as we grow into a global clan‑styled community.

What You’ll Do

• Lead cultural and heritage initiatives across the Society

• Support the development of clan traditions, symbolism, and historical projects

• Help curate heritage content, archives, and educational materials

• Assist with planning cultural events, ceremonies, and global clan activities

Time expectation

Our fundraising team leaders usually spend three to four hours per week in this role, which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer if needed.

We are looking for a volunteer with fundraising experience to lead and shape Act4Africa's fundraising activity,

In this role you will work remotely with our small team of interns and volunteers, and in conjunction with the Ugandan fundraising and communications team.

Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, you will have the opportunity to

• Gain experience of working with an international NGO partnership
• Build skills in fundraising strategy, volunteer leadership and charity governance
• Make a direct impact on programmes supporting young people and communities in Uganda
• Obtain references and recognition for your contribution

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Fundraising strategy & income generation
• Supporter care and communications
• Volunteer and intern coordination
• Administration and compliance

· Experience

• Experience coordinating volunteers and/or interns, ideally within a charity or community setting.
• Experience of digital fundraising and supporter engagement
• Experience using databases or CRM systems

Skills and abilities

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport with a wide range of people
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and exercise sound judgement.
• Confident in using IT systems (Office 365, MailChimp, Justgiving, CRM and online meeting tools).

Knowledge

• Understanding of best practice in volunteer management, including safeguarding and safer recruitment.
• Awareness of UK charity fundraising standards and regulations (e.g. Code of Fundraising Practice).
