Job Purpose
This is an exciting time to join our small and impactful team, as we enter year two of our four-year strategy, with goals to broaden and deepen our reach and impact, diversify our funding and delivery partnerships, and boost our programmes to support year 6 to 7 transition and tutor career development opportunities. The Tutor and Partnerships Manager is responsible for ensuring our tutors have the skills, support, and development opportunities to not just excel in their tutoring role, but also to find meaningful employment or training following graduation. This will include:
- Line managing and supporting the Tutor Coordinator, and overseeing the 100+ strong tutor cohort
- Building and managing employer and university partnerships
- Creating a strategic vision for Tutor Development and Training Monitoring tutor recruitment to ensure each year’s cohort is characterised by quality, commitment, and diversity, while growing in line with our annual strategic delivery goals
Most importantly, the Tutor and Partnerships Manager will consistently guide and steer the direction of the Tutor Team to ensure TU continues to make a positive impact at the end of the programme – thus making you accountable for the retention and development of tutors as we continue to grow into new areas of the country. This is a crucial role which drives team performance towards achieving our strategic objectives and ensures the tutor team and cohort is operating in such a way that we are able to hit our organisational targets for impact, finance, and growth. The Tutor and Partnerships Manager is a varied role, reflecting the many different aspects of the tutors’ involvement and importance to Tutors United. As well as overseeing the successful execution of daily operations, the Tutor and Partnerships Manager will work closely with the Senior Management Team and the programmes team to create strategic development opportunities for our tutors that enhance our ability to attract high quality tutors and ensure their own personal and professional growth. You will also develop and refine our Tutor Impact and Measurement systems, so that we are able to make data-driven decisions around recruitment, retention, and tutor development. This will involve identifying trends amongst tutors, making strategic adjustments in response to those trends, and reporting to senior members of Tutors United and our Board of Trustees at different points throughout the academic year. You will also work closely with the Programme and Impact Manager to ensure strong collaboration and cohesion across the frontline delivery team as a whole. Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. We deliver life-saving medical care and strengthen health systems for those worst affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement in the occupied Palestinian territory and Lebanon. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Supporter Care Manager to lead our Supporter Care team. You’ll oversee our supporter care operations, ensuring every donor, fundraiser, and campaigner receives outstanding, empathetic service. Job Description
The Youth Violence Intervention Practitioner role is to be part of the youth work team within Redthread with a primary focus on youth violence interventions in a health care setting. In this role you will be part of the Youth Violence Intervention Programme team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. You will support young people aged, 11-25 years old, who present to hospital following an incident of violence of for whom them there are concerns around exploitation or extra-familial farm. You will work with the young person in the hospital as well as supporting them post discharge to ensure they have the support in place that they need and want. Other tasks include:
- Hold a caseload and work with young people in a range of settings, including in A&E and on the wards, in the community, in face-to-face and group contexts, and promote their personal, educational, health and social development through all interactions.
- Assist with the on-going development of the service model to ensure that clients gain the maximum benefit from Redthread’s interventions.
- Ensure information resources such as client forms, databases and contact files are kept fully up-to-date and secure, in line with GDPR, the Data Protection Act and our Confidentiality Policy and Consent Policy. Maintain high quality recording of interventions with young people on our database, Threads, in line with Redthread’s best-practice requirements. (Training will be provided.)
- Collect and record evidence of project outcomes and young people’s achievements, to ensure the completion of monitoring forms and project progress reports as required.
- Maintain a good level of knowledge of the issues around youth violence and Child Exploitation.
- With guidance and support from the Team Leader, develop skills to further your work with the young people.

The Landscape Recovery team was set up as a response to the urgency of the inextricably linked nature and climate emergencies. The purpose of this team is to encourage and facilitate cross-Wildlife Trust action on landscape scale recovery, inject the rewilding approaches into the work of the Wildlife Trusts, coordinate land management activities where scale-economies are clear and to substantially increase funding for nature’s recovery across the Wildlife Trusts. The team is developing a range of programmes where RSWT acts as a ‘collective vehicle’ for groups of Trusts. For example, RSWT is leading a programme of peatland restoration through the Precious Peatlands project. Opportunities for such programmes are increasing – the UK is at a tipping point where either wildlife continues to decline or we finally grasp the opportunities of nature’s recovery.
About You
Working closely with colleagues at the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts and with Local Wildlife Trusts, the Land Management Practice Officer will support The Wildlife Trusts Nature Reserves community of practice. This role will focus primarily, in the first instance, on supporting local Wildlife Trusts to reduce their pesticide use.
The post will help Trusts develop and share knowledge, skills and capacity in the realm of pesticide use reduction and, where possible, also across other aspects of land management. This work will support Goal 1 – Nature’s Recovery – of the Wildlife Trusts’ Strategy 2030.
You will be a highly organised, collaborative, and an experienced individual adept at managing customer focussed relationships. You will understand the needs of the Wildlife Trusts and the context in which they operate. You will be an excellent communicator – proficient at running meetings, organising information and putting together reports.

About the role

The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key senior member of the finance team and will help shape the strategic management and direction of the team.
