About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Events Executive to support the delivery of major fundraising events and take ownership of key components. This is a high-profile role where you’ll contribute to complex projects and help ensure exceptional supporter experiences.
You’ll contribute to our focus of continuous improvement and innovation, keeping our events compelling, supporter-led, and helping us meet our ambitious financial and engagement targets.
On event day, you’ll play a key team leader role, supporting logistics, assisting with critical elements, troubleshooting issues, and helping deliver a seamless experience for thousands of participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of large-scale, mass-participation events, taking ownership of critical areas, including supporter communications and the co-ordination of key stakeholder teams.
- Collaborate across teams to plan and execute event activities.
- Deliver creative stewardship journeys that maximise supporter satisfaction and ROI.
- Lead team members and volunteers on event day.
- Help monitor key metrics and maintain accurate CRM data.
- Potentially line manage a Product Executive, supporting their development and success.
About You
You’re an experienced events professional with a proven track record in supporting the delivery of large-scale fundraising and mass-participation projects involving complex logistics. You thrive under pressure and will be confident taking responsibility for key areas on event day.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience supporting the management of large-scale income-generating events from concept through to live delivery.
- Strong project management skills to assist with planning, execution, and evaluation of high-profile events.
- Commercial awareness with a results-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Solid understanding of marketing and fundraising principles, including supporter journeys and multi-channel engagement.
- Familiarity with content management systems and customer databases.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with knowledge of budget management.
- Understanding of line management principles and ability to contribute to team development.
Working arrangements
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office.This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
There will be a requirement for flexible out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity. This includes requirement to attend the London to Brighton event weekend. You will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

Our new structure and our new ways of working will bring all of these services together under one delivery model launching next year. We're creating a new virtual support hub to bring together everything our community needs to manage their MS or support and care for someone living with MS.
Our Services Development team are responsible for: UK-wide service development and experience design, community development
Our Head of Services Development will be:
- leading the development and continuous improvement of our UK-wide and community-based services, ensuring they are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with organisational strategy. And also working alongside our Digital Services Product Manager on all of our digital services.
- overseeing the full-service development lifecycle, using evidence to drive continuous improvement and ensuring that lived experience is embedded into design.
- ensuring that our new or improved services are operationally viable. Supporting our Fundraising to ensure that new services are funded.
- Developing and managing our service development roadmap.
- With the Director of Service Development, acting as an organisational lead for coproduction / lived experience. Driving best practice and upskilling in coproduction and lived experience involvement and participation across the organisation.
We’re looking for:
- significant experience of leading coproduction and service experience design, and ability to support others to deliver these activities.
- ability to lead organisational discussions and be an authoritative champion based on subject expertise (for coproduction, service development and innovation).
- experience of effectively implementing change and improvement across an organisation, and ability to drive continuous improvement across a department.
- experience of leading service development and managing the service lifecycle (including horizon scanning, research, coproduction, piloting and using monitoring and evaluation data to make improvements), ideally in a health or third sector setting.
- substantial experience of people management, in a team of similar size or complexity. Demonstrable ability to lead, manage and support others to deliver high-quality results.
- Proven experience in policy implementation, compliance and risk governance (and with an understanding of Safeguarding and demonstratable experience implementing Safeguarding policies).

Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is recruiting for the position of ‘Digital Product Specialist’ on a permanent, full-time basis, to be based from its Waterloo Office, London. The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working model.
Job Purpose:
- Manage the digital assets of Islamic Relief UK, particularly the website, ensuring that it operates in an optimal manner.
- Manage the development, evolution and/or integration of digital assets, e.g. digital giving platforms and digital events management systems.
- Ensure all development projects have well considered user interfaces and provide an optimal user experience.
- Provide the Digital Marketing team support with technical SEO, email marketing, and tracking/reporting across key digital marketing platforms.
The successful candidate must have:
- Proven record of excellent people and interpersonal skills with strong communication skills at individual and group levels.
- Experience of managing web development projects
- Experience of working with internal clients and diverse teams
- Experience of delivering with a marketing budget and using resources effectively to successfully balance creative aspirations with limited financial and other resources
- An academic qualification at degree level or equivalent experience/qualification in a digital/developer related field
- A comprehensive knowledge of CMSs, preferably WordPress
- Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL and JavaScript and version controlling with Git
- Experienced in interpreting data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other analytic platforms
- In-depth understanding of UX and UI in the context of web design
- Knowledge and understanding of implementing technical SEO
- Commercially aware, with good understanding of budget management
- Ability to communicate technical information and requirements to non-technical management and internal stakeholders
- Experienced in working from wireframes and written design briefs to build mobile responsive solutions
- An aptitude for managing short-term projects effectively
- An understanding of marketing trends and the charity market

The National Gallery is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of the upcoming major capital projects at the National Gallery. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major capital project that will have a lasting impact on the Gallery’s future.
