About the Role
As Program Manager, you will lead the development and stewardship of strategic relationships with key corporate partners, stakeholders, and clients, playing a central role in driving corporate income. You will design and implement strategies that support business growth, strengthen corporate engagement, and deliver revenue and operational targets for the organisation in the UK.
Working closely with senior leaders, you will help expand the organisation’s income and impact through high‑value corporate partnerships. You will also develop strong connections with our HQ corporate team and collaborate with programme staff to ensure they understand organisational priorities and can effectively connect internal work with external partners.
This role requires an ambitious self‑starter with strong business acumen and confidence operating within the corporate sector. You should be skilled at presenting a compelling business case for partnership and securing high‑value contracts and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
1. Develop and implement strategies for the organisation’s growth in the corporate sector, ensuring a strong ROI and setting appropriate KPIs to monitor progress and measure success.
2. Build the UK corporate partnership portfolio: identify, cultivate, and secure significant relationships and business opportunities.
3. Formulate and implement individual strategies for developing key partnerships and initiatives around business priorities, mobilising necessary internal and external resources to ensure all partnerships are effectively executed and partners’ needs are fully met. Includes proposal and contract development.
4. Contribute to internal collaboration on innovative solutions that can deliver business impact at scale for complex corporate relationships.
Program Management
5 Develop working relationships with programme staff to identify business opportunities and access information that can be used to cultivate and steward corporate partners with the aim of attracting multi-year partnerships.
Influence and Representation
6 Effectively represent the organisation to external audiences for both business development and profile elevation.
7 Engage strategically with senior stakeholders to support corporate engagement.
What We're Looking For:
Education and experience
1 Demonstrated experience in high-level corporate management or business development, including at least five (5) years of direct frontline experience withing the corporate/corporate charity sector.
2 Demonstrated track record of success at a high-value level, including building strategic partnerships that maximise value for both the organisation and external partners, and building profile with external audiences.
Necessary knowledge, skills and abilities
3 Knowledge of the corporate charity and business development sectors.
4 Experience mobilising executives and senior stakeholders for strategic engagement.
5 Strategic and forward-thinking, with the ability to develop and lead an ambitious growth strategy.
6 Demonstrable success in proposal preparation and securing business contracts.
7 Strong experience in collaboration to develop business proposals and other partnership opportunities.
8 Degree-level or equivalent education in business, finance, management, or related disciplines preferred.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across teams, manage external agencies, and lead digital collaboration with member charities.
Financial & Risk Management: Oversee £100k+ budgets, ensure compliance, report on performance, and mitigate digital risks.
Digital & Innovation Strategy and ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards, maintaining best practices in equality and accessibility. Design and deliver programmes that build awareness and capability around inclusive behaviours.
Data & trends: Monitor, analyse, and report on D&I metrics to measure progress and inform future actions. Stay ahead of trends, lead new initiatives, and represent the organisation in external forums to promote our commitment to inclusion.

You will also manage and analyse Individual Giving income to an agreed target, monthly income reports, and donor data to inform fundraising strategies, and you will lead on ensuring Chance for Childhood is delivering world-class stewardship, managing and processing supporter data and donations accurately, efficiently, and securely, ensuring compliance with regulations and ethical best practices and guaranteeing a positive supporter experience.

The role:
A fantastic new opportunity has arisen at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability for an ambitious and strategic Head of Fundraising to lead and expand the RHN’s income generation and manage and drive a high performing team.
The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for generating income from all fundraising income streams: Community, Events, Corporate, Trusts and Foundations, Legacy and Direct Mail (Donor Development). They will oversee all aspects of fundraising, including developing and implementing the Fundraising Strategy, managing key donor relationships, driving forward any capital appeals and leading a team of fundraising professionals.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a passionate, positive and highly experienced individual with a proven track record in senior fundraising roles within the charity sector and experience of successful income generation. Candidates must be skilled on donor stewardship and stakeholder engagement, as well as being a confident and engaging public speaker. Knowledge of fundraising standards and best practice are essential.
Main objectives of the role:
- Establish fundraising priorities and set fundraising goals in line with the wider organisational strategy
- Achieve the fundraising target and KPIs
- Lead on the organisation of a full calendar of fundraising events and activity and ensure applications are made in a timely manner
- Engage with Fellows, Trustees and volunteers to ensure wider RHN engagement
- Engage with internal teams to ensure the timely promotion of events, activities and to ensure engagement
- Work with clinical service teams particularly those areas fully funded by fundraising, to provide case studies and outcome reports
- To work closely with the Communications team to fully utilise social media and the RHN website for all fundraising events and activities.
- Act as the primary contact for volunteer committees and external partners as necessary

- Strong planning, organisational, and multitasking skills to meet deadlines and achieve both team and individual goals, including managing relationships with Macmillan supporters, volunteer groups and meeting key metrics such as, supporter retention and increasing fundraising targets.
- Impactful written and verbal communication and influencing skills to enable you to engage, inspire and deliver key messages combined with experience of collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively acquire new business and new relationships through targeted acquisition including research, completion of applications, and presentations to supporters/companies/groups to secure new income and/or relationships.
This role is home-based with mobile working. Your home base needs to be in Wales (or close to the border - e.g. in Chester) as on a weekly basis you can expect to work across Wales to meet with supporters face to face approximately 2 to 3 days a week. As such, you must have a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle or the ability to travel frequently across the region.
There will be a requirement to attend in-person team meetings based in the area on a quarterly basis and other parts of the UK when our wider fundraising territory and department get together.
There will also be a requirement for flexible and out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity and you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

The Innovation, Development Fundraising Manager is a new role within the charity. The purpose of this position is to work with the Senior Leadership Team and other staff members to:
· Help develop and fund new activities in our existing services.
· Through the development and modelling of pilot projects, help the SLT with the implementation of our three-year strategy and seek funding through trust and grant foundations for the delivery of the above.
· Collaborate with the Chief Executive to identify and apply for new funding streams that support the work and growth of the charity and build on our current service delivery.
You will seek to develop and diversify the base of supporters and to achieve fundraising targets working with the CEO and SLT, supported by the board of trustees. Responsibilities and main duties:
o Work closely with the CEO, Board of Trustees, and others in the leadership team to develop and spearhead delivery of a funding and financial plan that will enable delivery of our mission, strategy 2026-29 and delivering our financial strategic objectives.
o Proactively research and develop opportunities from trusts and foundations, developing a funding database and pipeline.
o Working with the CEO and service managers, initializing, and developing projects, producing compelling funding proposals and grant applications, initiating prospect meetings, and confidently pitching new funders to successfully convert prospects to funders or donors.
o Work with the leadership team and local service managers, and volunteers to fundraise local community support activity in the areas we operate in.
o Explore and test new fundraising approaches (such as events and corporate) to further grow and diversify income,
o Research and implement the introduction of a suitable CRM system to maintain accurate records of all fundraising activity (including contracted income), providing high quality reports to the leadership team, CEO and trustees, and to develop a data led approach to future fundraising.
o Manage and monitor ongoing funder reporting, ensuring that effective records of grant/funding bids and their conditions are kept and strictly adhered to by project leads, and that interim and end of project reporting is completed to a high standard, consulting with project leads where appropriate.
o Build and sustain strong relationships with a broad range of funding individuals and organizations, using a wide range of appropriate stewardship approaches to develop and retain their support for Build on Belief.
o Stay informed of existing and new fundraising legislation and ensure all fundraising activities are compliant with the Code of Fundraising Practice and all other statutory obligations, maintaining and communicating internal policies as appropriate.
o Actively instill an organizational culture of fundraising, ensuring that everyone in the organization, including our trustees, understands and contributes to our fundraising strategy.
o Develop a good working knowledge of the charity’s activities, our approaches to addiction and recovery and some of the wider evidence base to tackle addiction and dependency to represent BoB authoritatively to supporters and external audiences.
Experience
o Experience and proven record of soliciting, managing, and securing income from trusts and foundations, corporates, and/or major donors.
o Experience of developing successful grant applications and proposals for support to trusts and foundations.
o Digital fundraising fluency including experience of using and/or developing a CRM system to support fundraising activities and understanding of digital fundraising approaches.
Knowledge
o Strong understanding of the current UK charitable funding landscape including excellent knowledge of charitable grant giving organizations.

In financial year 2025-26, PCR’s virtual challenges have raised over £2m so far (against a target of £1.4m) with still one more big challenge to go! We are thrilled at the impact this will have for families affected by prostate cancer, and are therefore excited to be expanding the Events & Community team again with this new role.
The Supporter Engagement Assistant will be at the frontline of our virtual challenges stewardship, supporting a rapidly growing supporter base and delivering exceptional supporter experiences. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, is highly organised and is eager to develop within a supportive and ambitious fundraising team.
While your focus will be on virtual challenges, you will also gain exposure to the wider Public Fundraising portfolio, with full training and support provided.
Key Responsibilities
Supporter Care & Engagement
• Be the first point of contact for virtual challenge fundraisers, responding to enquires on email, SMS, social channels and phone within agreed timescales.
• Manage supporter relationships and high-quality fundraiser journeys using PCR’s systems and tools, providing thoughtful stewardship that builds long term loyalty.
• Work with the team to continuously improve supporter experience using feedback and data
• Create and maintain FAQs, supporter resources and fundraising materials.
• Monitor acquisition advertisements and appropriately respond to comments.
Administration and database
• Manage stock, including sharing data with our fulfilment house, sending merchandise and replenishing materials.
• Process supporter and financial data accurately, including coding and tracking income & expenditure.

Job Purpose
To deliver community and university fundraising activity, achieving ambitious income targets through high-quality relationship management, excellent supporter and volunteer experiences and effective delivery of fundraising initiatives.
The role will focus university fundraising and wider community fundraising, working within strategic direction set by the Community Fundraising Manager. The post-holder will be responsible for day-to-day delivery, supporter stewardship and event activity, contributing insight and learning to improve future fundraising approaches.
Responsible For
• Delivering day-to-day fundraising activity across university and community fundraising portfolios, in line with agreed plans, targets and priorities.
• Building and managing positive relationships with supporters, students, volunteers, university staff, community groups and service contacts.
• Supporting the delivery of community fundraising events and university-based fundraising activity, ensuring a positive supporter and volunteer experience.
• Working directly with Hft services to support and enable service-related fundraising activity, following agreed guidance and processes.
• Recruiting, motivating and supporting volunteers involved in community and university fundraising activity.
• Contributing ideas, insight and feedback to support the innovation and continuous improvement of fundraising products and initiatives.
• Ensuring supporter, volunteer and activity data is accurately recorded on the CRM.

Person specification
Essential
• Experience of working in a fundraising, charity, community engagement, sales or customer-focused role.
• Experience of delivering income targets or other performance-related objectives.
• Experience of building and maintaining positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging supporters, students and volunteers.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Good IT skills, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Willingness and ability to travel, including evenings and weekends as required.
Desirable
• Experience of working with universities, students or education settings.
• Experience of supporting or delivering fundraising events.
• Experience of recruiting or supporting volunteers.
• Knowledge of digital fundraising.
