We are looking for a warm, organised and proactive Membership and Individual Giving Manager to help us deepen relationships with our members and supporters.

EDS UK is the leading UK charity dedicated to supporting people living with Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD). We provide trusted information, community connection and advocacy, for better recognition, diagnosis and care. Our members and supporters are at the heart of everything we do.

This role is central to building a sustainable income base that allows EDS UK to continue providing vital support, information and advocacy for people living with EDS and HSD.

Our client supports children, young people and families facing bereavement, as well as parents and carers of children with life-limiting conditions, providing specialist services, training and support across the UK. Following a recent merger, the organisation has strengthened its reach and impact, bringing together two leading charities to provide even greater support to grieving children and families nationwide.

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client with their search for an Individual Giving Manager. This role will support the delivery of a fundraising plan, growing income across channels including Direct Mail, Regular Giving, Lottery, Legacies and In Memory. Working closely with the Head of Individual Giving and Supporter Engagement, you will lead on acquisition campaigns, creative development and supplier management, using a mix of digital and traditional approaches to expand and engage the supporter base.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Individual Giving, with the ability to develop compelling campaigns that grow income and attract new supporters. You’ll be confident delivering end-to-end programmes, including direct mail, managing budgets and using CRM systems to track performance and insights. Highly organised and adaptable, you’ll be comfortable juggling multiple priorities while creating engaging supporter journeys across a range of channels.

The organisation are a leading charity provider of mental health services in England, who are on a mission to bring about meaningful change: to our health and social care system, to the way society views mental illness, and to people’s lives across the country. 

This is a full-time, 12-month maternity cover contract, paying a salary of £37,406 – £45,384 per annum. The post holder will work in a hybrid model from their offices in London.

As the Senior Individual Giving Manager, you will lead the strategic and operational delivery of individual giving across acquisition, retention and supporter care, using emotionally resonant campaigns and data driven decision making to grow their supporter base and maximise lifetime value. You will manage and motivate a team of three Individual Giving Officers, creating a supportive, high performing culture.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in delivering individual giving programmes across both acquisition and retention. You will also have a solid track record in direct and digital fundraising, including paid social and ideally you will have previous line management experience.

We’re looking for an ambitious and solutions-focused Individual Giving Manager to establish and lead Historic Royal Palaces’ first organisation-wide public fundraising programme. This is a newly created role with significant scope, playing a pivotal part in helping the charity connect more people with the palaces and stories that shape us all.

Working at pace, you’ll design and deliver a clear Individual Giving strategy, develop new onsite and digital fundraising products, and lead a high profile public appeal supporting a major capital campaign. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across Development, Visitor Experience, Digital, Commercial and Communications, bringing together insight, creativity and operational rigour to grow sustainable income and deliver engaging, visitor-focused fundraising experiences.

To be successful as the Individual Giving Manager, you will need:

• Proven experience developing and delivering Individual Giving or public fundraising programmes

• A strong track record of planning and delivering public appeals or campaigns informed by data and insight

• Excellent communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to create compelling supporter journeys

• A proactive, collaborative approach and confidence working across teams and with external suppliers
