Responsibilities of our Celebrity & Influencer Relationship Officer:

• The role of Celebrity and Influencer Relationship Officer will support us to deliver our Brand & Marketing 10-year vision which supports the overall organisational goals of enhancing cat welfare and increasing our impact, supporting volunteering to become an exemplary voluntary organisation, deepening our engagement with customers and supporters and enabling vital income generation activity to support financial sustainability.
• Acting as a key contact for all of our celebrities and influencers, this role is responsible for supporting the delivery of our strategy in this channel. The role works cross organisationally to support teams with celebrity and influencer activity to drive awareness of and engagement with different areas of our work and products.
• The role will also support the development of partnerships with digital creators across social and streaming platforms, helping Cats Protection reach younger and more diverse audiences.

• The Brand and Marketing team are responsible for delivering our vision for Cats Protection to be seen as the leading cat charity known for its innovative, effective approach and positive impact on society.

What we’re looking for in our Celebrity & Influencer Relationship Officer:

• Have experience working directly with celebrities, influencers, or in talent management within the nonprofit, media, or entertainment sectors.
• Experience of nurturing relationships to drive high impact and maximum value for the organisation and to build lasting and meaningful connections
• Experience of identifying, researching, undertaking due diligence and targeting appropriate influencers and high-profile individuals, publicists and agents, digital creators streamers and gaming communities across platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, TikTok Live and Discord
• Experience of pitching appropriate campaigns and projects to celebrities and influencers to secure their support and to be responsible for producing and distributing online and offline promotional material
• Experience of developing and handling a stewardship programme
• Strong understanding of social media culture, online communities and digital trends
• Knowledge of how to target and develop relevant relationships and how to leverage the fame of celebrities and influencers for the benefit of the organisation

Join Dementia UK as Policy and Public Affairs Manager (Scotland) and play a pivotal role in shaping our influence as we deliver our 2025–30 strategy. This new role reflects a significant investment in expanding our Campaigns, Policy and Public Affairs function, strengthening our ability to drive change across all nations of the UK. You will lead our work to amplify Dementia UK’s voice in Scotland, ensuring that the experiences of people living with dementia, and the Admiral Nurses who support them, drive meaningful improvements in care and support.

You will spearhead our political and policy engagement in Scotland, building trusted relationships with MSPs, civil servants, political advisers and sector partners. Through sharp political insight and rigorous policy development, you will help shape our influencing priorities, identify strategic opportunities, and position Dementia UK as a credible and authoritative voice on dementia care within the Scottish policy landscape.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across policy, public affairs, campaigns, communications, clinical services and lived experience, you will develop and deliver a Scottish policy and public affairs strategy that aligns with our UK-wide approach. You will also represent Dementia UK externally as our primary political contact in Scotland, ensuring our perspectives are heard in key debates and decision‑making forums.

To thrive in this role, you will bring strong political instincts, deep knowledge of Scottish political institutions and policy processes, and a proven ability to build influential relationships with senior stakeholders. While this role is home-based, the postholder must be based in Scotland in order to regularly attend Holyrood and other stakeholder meetings.

The Role

Reporting to the Cross-Channel Marketing Manager, the Cross-Channel Marketing Officer will design and deliver digital communication strategies across email and SMS, helping to maximise supporter engagement, retention, loyalty and income. This role will play a vital part in building seamless supporter and customer journeys that strengthen relationships, enhance experiences, and deliver measurable results.

Key responsibilities include:

• Plan, implement, and deliver targeted email and SMS campaigns and automated journeys to maximise income, steward events, provide beneficiary support, inspire actions, and increase retention.

• Supporting colleagues by providing training, sharing best practice, and offering expert advice.

Our Property and Facilities team is responsible for ensuring Shelter’s estate is fit for purpose and fully compliant for its staff, volunteers and clients. EQUISS Caseworker

Reports to: Head of Advocacy and Safeguarding

Purpose of the Role

EQUISS is an independent organisation working to strengthen safeguarding, welfare and accountability across the equestrian sector.

Across the equestrian world - from riding schools and training yards to competitions and affiliated clubs - concerns about abuse, misconduct and unsafe practices have too often been difficult to raise, navigate or resolve. EQUISS has been established to help change that: ensuring individuals affected by harm are heard, supported and able to access clear and safe pathways for raising concerns.

This role represents the first advocacy caseworker position within EQUISS, playing a central part in establishing a new, independent support service for the equestrian sector.

The Caseworker will provide trauma-informed advocacy, guidance and practical support to individuals experiencing abuse, harm or misconduct within equestrian environments. The role will help individuals understand their options, access appropriate support and navigate reporting processes within sport and, where appropriate, statutory systems.

Working closely with the Head of Advocacy and Safeguarding, the Caseworker will help deliver EQUISS’s advocacy service and support line, ensuring individuals receive safe, informed and survivor-centred support.

As one of the early roles within a developing organisation, the Caseworker will also contribute insight from frontline casework to help EQUISS identify patterns, risks and systemic safeguarding challenges within the equestrian world, supporting the organisation’s wider mission to drive meaningful reform.

Additional Information

• The role may involve occasional travel to provide in-person advocacy support, including attending meetings with organisations or statutory agencies, and accompanying individuals to police stations, court hearings or other relevant appointments where appropriate
• Some evening or weekend availability may occasionally be required
• The role requires an enhanced DBS check
• The postholder will participate in regular supervision and reflective practice
• The postholder must demonstrate a commitment to EQUISS’ values of safety, respect, integrity and inclusion

About EQUISS

EQUISS is an independent organisation working across the equestrian sector to improve safeguarding, welfare and accountability. We support individuals affected by abuse and misconduct, work with organisations to strengthen safeguarding practice, and drive systemic change through training, standards and advocacy.

Our work brings together three key areas: supporting individuals navigating concerns, strengthening safeguarding practice across the sector, and campaigning for meaningful reform where systems are failing.

As a developing organisation, EQUISS is building the structures, services and standards needed to ensure safeguarding and welfare are prioritised across the equestrian world.

Please note: There will be a requirement to travel for this role.
