This person will promote mission-focused content and activity across the Movement, for the 95% of children and young people who aren’t in church, for those who seek to reach and work with them, and for those who nurture them in their new-found faith.

The successful candidate will:

• Work in partnership with key staff across the SU Movement to build, maintain and develop our relationship with churches, ensuring they are well resourced for mission to the 95, and encouraging their support of Scripture Union through prayer, financial giving and volunteering.
• Engaging with existing church contacts to grow and develop those relationships.
• Developing a strong offering of speaker visits, and associated video and print resources to ensure a good experience for churches.
• Implementing a strategy for mobilising church giving, and individual giving through churches.
• Working with the Mission Enablers to develop a language around the financial costs of Revealing Jesus and ways in which churches can support the work, while also accessing the resource and training provisions.
• Maintaining good records of church contacts and activities in the Dynamics365 database.
• Manage and acknowledge donations from churches in line with our thanking procedures.

Introduction to the Role

We are looking for a Research and Policy Officer (Maternity Cover) to join our expanding Policy and Research department, which also oversees the TDS Charitable Foundation. This is a pivotal role supporting our mission to improve standards in the private rented sector through impactful research, thought leadership, and policy engagement.
The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering our research programme, including overseeing flagship projects like the Voice of the Tenant and Voice of the Landlord surveys, and producing high-quality qualitative and quantitative research.

You will also support the smooth running of the Charitable Foundation’s grant-making and governance activities and contribute to our work influencing policy and practice across the UK’s private rented sector.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Research
1. Collaborate with external research contractors to deliver the regular ‘Voice of the Tenant’ and ‘Voice of the Landlord’ Survey.
2. Ensure the research findings are widely disseminated through different channels, including events, publications, briefings and digital content.
3. Help identify research gaps and contribute to the development execution of new research projects or commissioning of external research.
4. Conduct proactive desk-based research to identify emerging trends, new policy developments, and partnership opportunities relevant to the Foundation and the sector.
5. Undertake in-house research activities, such as literature reviews, focus groups, stakeholder interviews, where required.
6. Contribute to the drafting and production of high-quality research reports and briefings, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and relevance for policy and practice audiences.

Policy
7. Monitor and analyse relevant legislative and regulatory developments, consultations, and debates, identifying implications for the sector and TDS’s work.
8. Support the development of TDS’s policy positions by preparing briefings, drafting responses to consultations, and summarising evidence from research.
9. Help communicate TDS’s policy insights and positions clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders, partners, and decision-makers.

Charity co-ordination
10. Act as a key point of contact for grant-funded projects, supporting projects to share progress and impact, and identify any support needs.
11. Help to Coordinate the TDS Charitable Foundation’s quarterly Board of Trustee meetings, including preparing board papers, taking minutes, and following up on actions.

• Responsible for dealing with customer queries, resolving these in a timely and effective manner, with excellent standards of customer service.
• Responsible for monitoring and reviewing operational activities, ensuring the services deliver results as planned.
• Provide operational support to the Chief Executive and Board of Trustees.

- Understanding of running hobby, interest groups and health and wellbeing services

The Marcomms Officer reports into a Marketing Manager and works across the Brand & Marketing team to:

• Develop effective marketing assets and campaigns for brand, healthcare and income generation.
• Work closely with in-house and external designers to deliver marketing campaigns and assets.
• Ensure brand and health marketing messaging remains consistent and on brand across all activity.
• Support the management and usage of our marketing and design tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the Brand & Marketing team on selected organisational working groups and actively engage with our internal networks.
• Help manage our marketing tools and platform to support usage across the organisation.
• Provide project support to our Creative Team, for example co-ordinating brand photography shoots.
• Ensure all healthcare and fundraising literature is in stock, on brand and updated in terms of content, consent, permissions and legal requirements.
• Have a clear understanding of our brand guidelines and key messaging and support embedding this across all our marketing communications.
• Build strong, internal relationships with stakeholders across Sue Ryder.
• Support the smooth running of the team administration.

About you:
Essential
• Experience of managing and delivering marketing campaigns on time and on budget
• Experience of managing and developing creative assets which are relevant and impactful to the specific audience.
• Experience of working with creative and print agencies.
• Excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with internal colleagues within the wider marketing and communications department such as PR and digital to ensure integrated working
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, able to work at pace across a range of projects

Desirable
• Relevant experience working in a charity or agency environment
• Experience of working with brand management.

As the sole Fundraiser, you will join this energetic team to deliver the charity’s fundraising requirements. Your focus will be on securing grants from trusts, foundations and statutory sources including Arts Council England. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to wider fundraising including through events and the development of earned income streams.

The organisation offer a salary of £32.4k FTE for a part time (0.6) role. This is a hybrid role, with at least one day a week working from their Caterham, Surrey office.

Community Link Worker

Location: Ealing

Salary: £26,560 inclusive per annum

West London Crisis Recovery House is Registered Care Home, working in a recovery model. The services are staffed 24/7 and offer support to the residents aged 18 and upwards.

The Role

• To promote independence by supporting service users to move on positively.
• Develop networks across West London to build strong move-on pathways from the WLCH.
• Ensure discharge KPI timescales are adhered to within the WLCH.

Key Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with Team Managers to develop strong community links, ensuring effective housing support for all residents.
• Directly run, manage or supervise groups or activities as appropriate.
• Effectively manage a service user caseload by prioritising workload.
• Organise and provide purposeful one to one service user action planning sessions and reviews.
• Directly run, manage, or supervise activities and groups designed to support residents in the discharge process and their integration into previous or new living arrangements.
• Adhere to the Community service referral procedure.
• Using their processes, provide a needs assessment, risk assessment and risk management plan for each individual service user.
• Where appropriate refer service users to other support services e.g. housing, counselling, CAB etc. 
• To increase service users’ independence and self-esteem, promote and encourage access to services that develop personal wellbeing, health, and life skills training

General Accountabilities

Administration:
