As a Sexual Violence Outreach Worker you will provide compassionate, flexible, and connected support to clients who have experienced childhood sexual abuse and/or adult sexual assault, in order to help them engage with the support provided by the new Integrated Plymouth Sexual Violence Service.
Many individuals accessing the service will have experienced multiple adverse experiences and may present with complex, intersecting needs such as insecure housing, substance misuse, domestic abuse, and significant mental health challenges. You will provide support that aims to meet people where they are in order to build rapport and trust as the foundation for longer-term support and interventions.

Who are we?
St. John's is a non-maintained specialist provision, working with autistic people, the majority of whom also have learning disabilities. Some of our learners have co-occurring conditions such as epilepsy, hearing or visual impairments, or mental health needs. We also support autistic learners who have an additional profile of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) syndrome. We have a team built up of support workers, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, nurses, PBS practitioners, assistant psychologists, and more, to support us in our holistic approach to development.
Each learner's curriculum is shaped by their individual strengths, interests, and challenges. St. John's is awarded with Autism Accreditation by the National Autistic Society (NAS). We support our learners to develop their skills in the NAS's four focus areas of:

We've been doing this long enough to know that, whilst desirable, experience is not everything! Our amazing learning and development team and our passionate managers have coached people new to this field into support working roles. We know that if you have, the passion and desire to learn, and the want to empower others, you already have the foundations of an outstanding support worker. We are looking for drivers to support our young people to access the community, but having a licence isn't essential.

You’ll start at our entry point salary of £33,044 per annum, increasing to £35,109 after 6 months service and satisfactory performance and to £37,174* after a further 6 months.

We’re looking for a motivated, organised and creative Senior Individual Giving Officer to join our ambitious, supportive development team at the MS Society.
You’ll play a key role in planning and delivering multi-channel fundraising campaigns and supporter engagements projects to time, income targets and expenditure budgets. You’ll have space to be creative, freedom to test new ideas, and the chance to shape the future of our development programme.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who’s already worked in an individual giving role and is ready to take on more responsibility. You’ll be organised, with a strong eye for detail and a proven track record of managing successful direct marketing campaigns from start to finish. You’ll analyse results, test new ideas, and find ways to improve future campaigns.
With great interpersonal skills, you’ll work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver high-quality campaigns and build relationships with supporters. With a creative and enthusiastic approach, you’ll take ownership of your work, shape our individual giving programme, and make a real difference to people living with MS.

We're looking for a kind, empathetic and resilient Support worker to join our Homelessness and complex needs Service in Kensington & Chelsea.
£30,784.00 per annum, working 40 hours per week.

There are 5 hostels in the cluster ranging from high, medium to low support which are all based in the borough of RBKC. The Heaney Cluster an intensively supported housing scheme for the most challenging customers in the borough.
Staff are expected to work 8 hours daily on a shift rota basis. This will include weekend working. Shifts are 7.30am to 3.30pm and 2.00pm to 10pm.
The fixed term contract is for 6 months.
What you'll do:
* If a need arises, deliver all aspects of support to enable a customer to develop independent living skills as appropriate to the individual needs of the customer.
* Support customers to maintain their tenancies.
* Support to budget and prevent rent arrears.
* Assess their practical and emotional needs to incorporate in their support plan.
* To develop support plans and risk management plans.
