We are the professional statutory and regulatory body (PSRB) responsible for qualifications, quality standards, and safeguarding for youth work and services in England. About the Role
We are looking for Programme Governance Lead to manage and oversee the successful delivery of all programmes/projects within the Programmes Directorate by establishing and leading consistent governance and assurance. The postholder will strengthen programme governance, reporting and risk management ensuring programmes are delivered by agreed methodologies and in a consistent manner.

This is a Senior Leadership role reporting to our Executive Director. What you’ll do
• Deliver and continuously develop our retail strategy, growing income and keeping the function commercially resilient and fit for the future.

• Build our furniture retail strategy across the city, county and wider region, and grow ecommerce income across multiple online platforms such as eBay.
• Lead, coach and motivate your managers and teams, ensuring every shop is well presented with excellent customer service.
• Turn around underperforming shops and oversee income generators including Gift Aid, scratch cards and the Grand Raffle.
• Drive efficiency across the function, making smart use of technology and AI to support staff and volunteers.
What we’re looking for
• Strong retail experience at senior management level, with proven sales leadership and the ability to inspire others.
• Commercial and business awareness, with the ability to set and work to financial targets, budgets and plans.
• A track record of developing and delivering retail strategy and growing a retail estate, including new formats.
• Experience of identifying and turning around underperforming shops, and of managing performance.
• Experience of leading and developing both staff and volunteers, with excellent IT and communication skills.
• Someone compassionate and empathetic — who leads with kindness as well as drive, treating staff, volunteers and customers with respect.
• Desirable: not-for-profit sector experience, furniture reuse and logistics, growing ecommerce across more than one platform, and using technology and AI to improve ways of working.
• A full driving licence is required, with the ability to gain business insurance.

As Head of Policy and Communications in Wales you will lead a team working across policy, public affairs and communications to deliver the changes needed to address homelessness in Wales. After the formation of a new government in Wales, this role will be working closely with politicians, government officials, sector leads, and people with lived experience of homelessness to ensure Crisis’ goal of ending all forms of homelessness in Wales is a priority and bring about the changes needed to meet this goal.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have excellent knowledge and experience of developing and securing policy change at a national government level and raising the profile of an organisation through advocacy and strategic communications.
Ideally you will have experience across policy, public affairs and media work, and excel at building stakeholder relations. You will be an experienced spokesperson and understand how to communicate policy matters in a simple and concise way. You will have understanding and knowledge of developing policy and influencing objectives informed by frontline staff and working with people with lived experience of an issue and staff.

The Role
In this role, you will support the Director of Finance in providing a proactive, efficient, and highly effective finance service across the Diocesan board of finance and trust custodian company, as well as supporting the larger finance team who look after the Board of Education.
The role will include taking ownership of the budget and forecast for Board, running the month-end and reporting process and interacting with Heads of Department and key Diocese clergy in helping to run their day-to-day operations. The role will also take the lead in managing the tax and statutory reporting, and appropriate training assistance will be made available as required.
You will play a key role within a Finance department totalling 9 staff. The team have been through a time of change, including the introduction of a system 3 years ago that still requires some input to ensure it is being maximised in usefulness.

About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Housing Manager you will:
· Play a key role in shaping an exceptional housing management service to deliver a truly customer-focused experience
· Line manage a team of Housing Officers, leading and coaching them to deliver a responsive and proactive service.
· Work closely alongside your Housing Manager counterpart to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

What you’ll need to succeed
· Experience in line managing or supporting staff highly desirable, with a natural ability to lead and motivate others
· A minimum of two years’ experience delivering and managing a housing service within a social housing environment.
· A Chartered Institute of Housing qualification or relevant management qualification is desirable but not essential, demonstrating your commitment to professional development.
