This role requires that you are resident and have the right to work in the UK.
On a day-to-day basis, you will help NEON’s partners develop effective content and digital comms strategy - and offer support and training in both digital skills and ways to stay safe online. You will centre anti-oppression in your work and be able to help people stay safe online, especially those from marginalised backgrounds. You’ll be across emerging trends, using platforms effectively and aware of how to make use of digital to empower our base and persuade people to our causes. You will be across what’s happening online and in the news - and be able to quickly jump on opportunities to tell a compelling alternative story.
This project is part of a wider Communications Hub in which you’ll play an active role, helping to develop the overall strategy and direction of the project. The overall aim of the Hub is to strengthen the communication skills and abilities of progressives in the UK. The Hub has five programmes, and Digital will be the sixth programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy development and delivery of the digital comms programme
- Set up and manage a reactive social media unit which clips and generates new content for spokespeople, working with a pool of consultants to create fresh digital content
- Work with the rest of the Comms Hub to develop a package of support for online influencers who have the backing of social movements, including broadcast media training, messaging insights and production tools and techniques
- Project manage a schedule of digital media trainings - including a follow-up to our flagship spokespeople training and a one-day digital strategy training for members of the wider NEON network
- Provide digital comms support to our spokespeople and allied organisations
- Working with a digital crisis comms support service - helping spokespeople skill up in countering misinformation and disinformation, and stepping in with tailored support for spokespeople receiving hate online
- Give regular insight to our partners on digital trends, changes to the media landscape and shifts in the ways digital content is shaping public opinion
- Play an active role in the wider Comms Hub, attending and feeding into key messaging and narrative development and supporting the Co-Directors with overall strategy

Our Individual Giving programme is central to our fundraising strategy to increase

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
· Has significant experience in fundraising, ideally within a Christian charity or similar context
· Has experience working with high-value donors and developing giving strategies
· Understands the theology and biblical principles of Christian generosity and stewardship
· Is confident in teaching, preaching, and communicating about giving in a range of contexts
· Has strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and can motivate others to embrace new approaches
· Has a strong understanding of finance and the ability to analyse giving trends and data
· Is highly organised and able to manage multiple relationships and projects
· Understands the culture and diversity of traditions within the Church of England

The Individual Giving Manager will lead the development of RLSS UK’s first comprehensive individual giving programme, building all activity from the ground up. This includes designing compelling supporter propositions, establishing donor journeys, and creating engaging campaigns that drive acquisition and long-term support.
A key part of the role will be scoping, procuring, and managing external suppliers, agencies, platforms, and partners required to deliver individual giving products and activity. JOB PURPOSE
To develop, launch, and grow RLSS UK’s first individual giving programme, building sustainable income streams that support our vital work in water safety education. As the first dedicated individual giving role, you will design the strategy and deliver hands on activity, creating compelling propositions, supporter journeys and campaigns across regular giving, one‑off gifts, lottery, legacies and in‑memory giving.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and Strategy
- Develop RLSS UK’s first Individual Giving strategy, setting clear plans, targets, and opportunities for growth across all giving products.
- Introduce and embed best practice in compliance, data management, supporter care, and ethical fundraising.
Supplier and Partner Development
- Scope organisational needs and procure/manage suppliers, agencies and platforms required to deliver individual giving activity.
- Lead onboarding and manage delivery to agreed standards, budgets and timelines.
Supporter Engagement and Campaign Development
- Design end‑to‑end supporter journeys (acquisition, welcome, nurture, upgrade, reactivation, retention).
- Plan and deliver multi‑channel campaigns (digital, social, email, paid, direct mail) to acquire, retain and engage supporters.
- Build audience understanding through segmentation, insight and experimentation.
- Work closely with Marketing and Communications, Membership, and other teams to embed Individual Giving into the organisation.
Product Development
- Scope and pilot propositions for: Regular Giving, Digital one‑off, Charity Lottery, Legacy Giving, In‑Memory, Appeals/integrated campaigns, and Mid‑value.
- Produce product business cases with KPIs, budgets, phasing and implementation plans.
Reporting and Evaluation
- Establish reporting and monitoring frameworks for Individual Giving activity.
- Use early data and insight to inform decision‑making, future planning, and product development.
- Ensure all activity complies with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice, GDPR, PECR and Gambling Commission requirements.
- Monitor and report on individual giving performance against KPIs and targets, reporting on performance to the Director of Income Generation and Engagement, Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees.

Sue Ryder is looking for a Digital Fundraising Manager to lead the planning and delivery of innovative digital fundraising activities that grow our supporter base and maximise income.
In this new role, you will develop and optimise multichannel fundraising campaigns across digital platforms while embedding a culture of test, learn and continuous optimisation. Experience using GA4 and Google Tag Manager, as well as other native platform analytical tools for tracking, reporting and assisting optimisation.
• Proven knowledge and use of digital marketing tools, including email marketing and automation platforms (DotDigital would be advantageous).
• Demonstratable experience of developing paid social media campaign tracking and an understanding of the changing landscape in social media i.e. current Meta restrictions

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will lead on our trusts and foundations pipeline, manage key corporate partners, write high-quality funding applications and support the development of our stewardship and wider fundraising strategies.
This is initially a 6 month contract, with the aim of becoming permanent subject to funding. As Jangala is a growing organisation, you will also help shape fundraising tools/processes and there is potential for this role to evolve according to your skills, interests and development goals over time.

Since 2015, we have directly connected over 140,000 people across 38 countries through innovative connectivity solutions and partnerships with more than 300 organisations, including UN agencies, government bodies and grassroots charities.
Our products, including Big Box and Get Box, deliver reliable Wi-Fi in challenging environments, from refugee camps to community hubs and digitally excluded households across the UK. Our annual income is currently around £1m, including five and six figure trust and foundation grants, six figure corporate partnerships and government funding.

Key responsibilities will include:
Trusts & Foundations

Leading a pipeline of UK and global trusts and foundations and other grantmakers, including researching and cultivating new opportunities, developing proposals, coordinating internal inputs and submitting high-quality bids

Managing relationships with our current funders, with a focus on stewardship, reporting and renewals, ensuring accurate, timely and engaging updates on progress and impact

Working with Head of Fundraising to review our current pipeline, refine our trusts and foundations strategy and identify our approach for priority opportunities, including National Lottery

Developing and implementing a clear stewardship strategy for trusts and foundation funders
Corporate Partnerships

Account managing key corporate partners to maintain strong relationships and identify opportunities to deepen engagement over time

Fundraising Strategy & Support

The person we're looking for

Strategic leadership
- Lead the development and implementation of a multi-year income generation strategy aligned to Alopecia UK priorities.

Income growth & diversification
As a part-time role within a small charity, the postholder will need to carefully prioritise income-generating opportunities alongside stewardship and relationship management. In year one, a key focus will be establishing effective donor pathways through the rollout of our new CRM, ensuring supporters experience clear and meaningful journeys with the charity. Alongside this, the Senior Fundraising Manager will assess and determine which early opportunities for growth should be prioritised. While areas such as community fundraising, digital campaigns and regular giving are likely to offer early potential, the postholder will lead decisions on where to focus effort and investment to generate the strongest returns.
- Leverage and optimise existing community and public fundraising activity to increase income and supporter numbers.
- Develop and grow new revenue streams, to potentially include digital fundraising campaigns, regular giving, trusts and grants, and legacy giving.

- Use CRM data and financial information to track performance, analyse trends and adjust strategy as required.
Data & impact
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including ICO guidance, GDPR and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
- Work closely with the Finance & Operations Manager to ensure our data meaningfully represents organisational outcomes.
- Translate impact data into powerful, succinct and persuasive communications or compelling cases for support.

We’ve been on a major upward trajectory in recent years, with more children being supported, more major hospitals being partnered with and more supporters donating. We’ve transformed from being an enthusiastic start-up delivering care in the community, to a serious player delivering major impact both in the community and at our state-of-the-art hospice building, The Ark, opened in 2019.
Philanthropy, which covers Grants, Trusts & Foundations and Major Donor fundraising streams, is pivotal to Noah’s Ark, typically accounting for around 50% of the charity’s voluntary income. This is an area of real expertise for Noah’s Ark, with much scope for further refining. The successful candidate will therefore be instrumental in taking this key income stream forward, add to an exciting portfolio and gain further training and support, working as part of a high-performing and super supportive team, ready for its next development phase.
The Grants, Trusts & Foundations Manager will work closely with and report to the Head of Philanthropy to develop the Trust pipeline, along with instrumental cross-team work on applications and reporting processes for other income streams. Whilst we work towards developing a more diverse funding model and navigate changes to the external Trust environment, sustaining and growing income from Trusts will remain vital.
